I was there with my gymnastics group. Most of them are pensioners. For a small snack in a cozy atmosphere in the evening. Very nice & courteous, attentive staff, with humor. Relaxed atmosphere Home-style cuisine with style. Some had very large portions, but everything was eaten :)))

Very nice restaurant where you can eat well! Very friendly staff and homely atmosphere. We meet every Friday morning for a morning pint with, among other things, the good Ueli beer! We like it very much. The menus on offer are also delicious and inexpensive. The pumpkin cream soup is also recommended.

Food was good, I ordered “tap water”, the small glass cost 3.50 CHF. .....colleague got the bigger one and had to pay 6 chf....so be careful or ask beforehand...that really annoyed me...

Overall quality is good and recommended.

There are 3 menus to choose from every day plus fixed dishes. The atmosphere is bright and cozy. The service is warm. Anyone who eats there makes a contribution to supporting young people's integration into work. Only recommended! C S

The concept, the service, the ambience (terrace) and the food were very good. Restaurant with a social background! Nice location by the park. Meatloaf from the grill is a feast. It would be nice if the daily menu on the homepage showed more than just the current day. So you could plan in advance whether you will meet here or not.

The live music every month is great. The service sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. But if you consider that some people who work here have a handicap, be it mental, physical or psychological, you just have to turn a blind eye or even both eyes (I don't always succeed). In any case, everyone does the best they can. I admire Hannes Fringeli, he must have nerves of steel.

Some of the staff are not so friendly, not attentive, the food is good, the ice cream is too runny...

I like the furnishings better than before the renovation. 7/2/19: Was in the outside area of ​​the restaurant, which is very nice. Meine Frau und ich haben Kalbsleberli an Madeira-Sauce bestellt; sie mit Pommes, ich mit Rösti. Das war absolut spitzenmässig zubereitet. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich.Eine sehr gemütliche Zeit in diesem Restaurant. Viele gibt's ja nicht mehr in Riehen! Wir sind sehr froh, dieses Lokal neu entdeckt zu haben. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Vielleicht ein bisschen weniger Licht? Etwas gedimmt? Wir freuen uns auf die warme Jahreszeit auf der Terrasse.

As always, a wonderful music evening with fine drinks and food every first Friday of the month. Except for January and August, it is the second Friday of the month because of the public holidays. There is a music evening. Admission is free, but there is a fee.

Friendly service, good selected menus. Nice covered terrace, view on one side of the green park with children's play area. Close to the bus stop, train connection to Germany and Switzerland via Basel, post office, kiosk relatively centrally located in Riehen Dorf.

Das Restaurant ist zwar etwas minimalistisch eingerichtet - das findet man ja heute sehr oft - dafür war das Essen ausgezeichnet und der Service sehr gut. Es hatte Keiner (wir waren mit 11 Feunden dort am 09.10.2017) etwas zu mäkeln gehabt. Angenehm überrascht waren wir über die für die Schweiz sehr günstigen Peise.

I have rarely eaten so well at this price. Large portions, prepared with a lot of dedication and actually only used fresh ingredients. Really awesome kitchen. Unfortunately, the service was at the table too quickly and too often and wanted to clear away even though we hadn't finished eating.

Gutes Restaurant für viele Gelegenheiten mit div. Räumen Zentral gelegen bei Bahnhof, Post, Gemeindehaus, Bushaltestelle. (PP, Park und grosser Kinderspielplatz der Gemeinde direkt hinter dem Haus mit direktem Zugang zum Rest.) A la carte kann man auch kleinere Gerichte warm und kalt bestellen, wenn der Hunger nicht so gross ist! Auch hausgemachte Früchtekuchen und Glacé werden angeboten. Das Service-Personal ist freundlich, manchmal etwas langsam (Spezial-Integration von Pers. mit leichtem Defiziten), daher ist etwas Geduld gefragt, aber es lohnt sich!

Eglifilet war ungeniessbar, da nicht fachgerecht zubereitet. Bereits beim dritten Bissen blieb mir eine von vielen Geräten im Halse stecken und ich verbrachte meinen Geburtstagsabend in der Notfallstation. Der Service und die Reaktion waren schlecht. Der Kellner behauptete es sei unmöglich, es habe keine Geräte im Eglifilet, der Inhaber tat es kurz ab mit, das könne vorkommen. Das Essen wurde mir verrechnet ohne jeglichen Erlass, obwohl ich es nicht essen konnte.

Jeweils am Mittwoch wird ein Mittagsbuffet zu einem günstigen Preis offeriert.Das Buffet Angebot nicht so groß aber es gibt Salat, Fleisch, Gemüse, Teigwaren, Reis etc. inkl. Dessert. Es besteht aber auch dann die Möglichkeit sich etwas aus der Speisekarte zum Essen auszuwählen. Das Restaurant liegt ideal und hat eine schöne Terasse und eine Lounge im Garten. Zudem ist der Kinderspielplatz gleich nebenan.

Hay muchas plazas de aparcamiento a poca distanciadel restaurante es un org - Organización y emplea a jóvenes adultos con impedimentos físicos, psicológicos y/o sociales.Asistimos a una cena de boda y era el lugar reservado para nosotros solos. Dado el buen clima también pudimos sentarnos en la terraza cubierta para un Apéro y entre campos.El menú de la cena era agradable, un menú sólido suizo. La dotación de esta noche fue un poco finas, pero, sin embargo, los platos estaban bien dispuestas y el servicio atento.

Ambiente und Service waren überdurchschnittlich und das Essen sehr gut (wenn auch etwas viel). Die Weinkarte kann sich sehen lassen und die meisten Flaschenweine sind auch offen erhältlich. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.Speziell an dem Restaurant ist sicher, dass es von jungen Praktikanten geführt wird, welche aus den unterschiedlichsten Gründen den Anforderungen der Berufswelt (noch) nicht gewachsen sind. Dabei werden sie von professionellem Personal unterstützt.
