For our wedding anniversary this year we chose a very special location, Oberberg Castle in Gossau, near St. Gallen. We weren't disappointed, after a phone call asking for a special flower decoration on the table, everything worked out perfectly. We both ordered the summer magic menu. Delicious from start to finish and such a warm and very friendly service staff, all of our wishes were fulfilled. To round things off there was a plate with “Guzale” as we Swabians would say and as a decoration on the plates “Happy Wedding Anniversary”. Very nice gesture from the house, we were really happy. We can only recommend Oberberg Castle, it's just a shame that the tenants are saying goodbye at the end of the year. Hopefully there will be many more “enchanted moments” until then. It should also be mentioned that the entire castle is wheelchair accessible; there is a lift that goes up directly from the parking lot. This is not a given, because as a person with walking restrictions you will experience many negative surprises. We wish the Schneider family and all employees a successful rest of the year and who knows, sometimes you see each other twice.

There is a lot to see and there is also a small shop that invites you to browse and shop in amazement. There are enough parking spaces but it can also be reached with a short walk without a car.
