Schlossrestaurant Thun in Thun

One weekend we had dinner there with a friend. The staff was really super nice! The food also tasted good and the atmosphere was really enchanting.

Went to have lunch and ordered 1 lunch menu and 1 weekly special. Great place, interior and service. This is our second time and will probably return on our next visit to Thun.

We made reservations quite early in advance and immediately expressed our desire to sit by the window. That worked and we had a wonderful view. The service was very nice and courteous but unfortunately a bit rushed, which was clearly noticeable. The food is delicious!! Excellent from A to Z. The portions were just right and the wine recommendation was also great. However, in the end we had to ask for the bill 3 times, which was quite annoying. Therefore one point deducted. But we will definitely come back and recommend the restaurant to others.

Cigar Lounge was only available upon request.

A magical place located in a very beautiful city. For the restaurant, each room, each terrace, even the staircase (!) is thought out and cared for; the service is pleasant, the food at the level with an affordable price. In my opinion it's just a shame to come there in a hurry, it takes a little time to appreciate all the richness of the place.

I made a reservation and visited last Christmas. Everything from the atmosphere, taste, price, and friendliness of the staff was the best. I was recommended the Christmas special menu and the price was quite reasonable.

After a 2 week trip in Switzerland, I can say without a doubt this hotel was my favorite. My partner and I stayed in the tower room and it was a dream. We had family staying in a different room that was smaller and it still had charm, even though it was less lavish. The views from the castle are remarkable. Staff were generally helpful and kind. One woman was a little curt and short at breakfast in the morning, but everyone else was very pleasant. The hotel should do a better job advertising shuttles and providing instructions for getting to the hotel. My group got very lost and we had to ask for help from three different locals before we could find a way to the castle. This hotel has some narrow hallways and lots of stairs or raised surfaces on the ground, so it may be hard for some to navigate through. The breakfast in the morning was good but not special compared to the other 6 hotels I stayed at during my trip.

It is a good restaurant located in a truly beautiful place. The view over the city is equally beautiful. The service is kind and attentive. The quality of the dishes is excellent. On the menu there are also regional dishes prepared with regional products. Absolutely recommended.

The reception was very friendly. The round table by the window was perfect. The food was excellent. The service was courteous, friendly and competent. We really enjoyed the evening and we'll be back!

Friendly and smiling welcome. Pretty room with a view of the interior courtyard of the castle. Hearty breakfast. Easy to access on foot thanks to the elevator from the city center. More sporty access with the stairs. :-)

Great service, nice room, lovely breakfast, will definitely return

After the tour of the castle (which is highly recommended as it is exciting and also suitable for children!), it is a good idea to stop at the restaurant. Even though it was more set up and set up for eating, we as a family were able to drink coffee, tea and hot chocolate here. Ideal for warming up on cloudy days.

A host with heart and soul. Very friendly welcome, top service. Good food with a wonderful view of the city of Thun from the terrace. Attentive and cheerful staff. Nice room with SPA option. Breakfast in the castle courtyard with a good selection of dishes. High feel-good factor! Bravo & thank you! We will be back.
