I'll never come to the restaurant again. For a little sauce you have to pay 5fr. pay . The staff is a little unfriendly because you are being processed. That can't be an impudence. In the meantime things have improved a little. You can eat in peace and spend a little more time. It is a nice restaurant decorated in a modern style.

Since the light is very dark, you can't really see what you're eating. Sauce for the chicken was very watery. Service not particularly attentive. Prices a bit too high for what you get

The food was tasty, but there was a 1 1/2 wait between the starter and the main course. Service was unfriendly and language skills were non-existent.

The ground floor is more comfortable. The food was quite ok. The specialty, 1/2 chicken, was well seasoned, but could have been a bit spicier. The “Güggeliwagen” can do this just as well. After I finally found the much praised sauce at the bottom of the basket, it was really good. Only it could have been served in a “Schäleli”. It wasn't exactly much when it passed on the ground. Of course you can order sauce with it (💰). If this sauce is so famous, serve enough. The disappointment was the french fries. Served carelessly on two plates. The absence of spice was a shame. We couldn't eat them as quickly as they got cold. Improvement: - Season the chicken a little more - More sauce in the bowl - Fries in a basket lined with paper, so the things stay warm longer and it looks pretty. The eye eats too. Oh yes and please add some spice to it. It doesn't cost much and "it's just better".

Starter mixed salad was good and the chicken was also good. Employees were very friendly

I'm disappointed with the chicken. Definitely remember this much better. Fries ok. I'm sure we were just a bit unlucky. Gockel was unseasoned, not crispy and really very dry. Sauce, well. The mixed salad was simple but fresh and good. The service still made it a positive visit. Friendly, and attentive.

Had dinner there yesterday, ordering was difficult, you hadn't finished ordering the food yet and were already looking at the next one at the table. It's clear that additional menus are ordered when small children are sitting at the table. Extreme chaos. Far too little sauce in the chicken. You have to take an extra portion which is completely overpriced. You can't justify that by washing the cup... It probably wasn't your day :-(

The chicken in Chörbli with a very tasty sauce is worth a visit. I would definitely recommend the Chicken Olé-Olé. But it could be a little more seasoned. They also have a very fine nut salad with egg which is also recommended as a starter. It's usually very popular and crowded. The staff is very friendly.

Update January 5th, 2024 Junior Chef did very well - Poule unfortunately not as good as in 2023 nice service next to the kitchen - When the boss isn't there, the mice dance on the tables - service is terrible l Chicken is solid, good sauce is more adulterated

The chicken is served in a sauce where the chicken is soggy, so I don't know what the concept of grilled chicken is. By far the worst chicken I have ever eaten. Once and never again! Curls with grilled chicken at the end you almost get a chicken soup. Two chickens with two soft drinks over 100 francs is really a disgrace!

The key to Güggeli heaven. Always enjoy the excellently prepared chicken with a fine salad. Fast service and special ambience. There is also something from the kitchen for those who refuse to eat chicken.

Honestly the chicken was good and the sauce with it was great. (The portions are rather small) Additional sauces just under 5sfr, way too expensive for very little more sauce. The service chaotic & slow. There was no question about dessert, let alone whether we would like something to drink. It wasn't what it used to be.

I always really enjoy being there. The sauce is very tasty and unique. Always a great experience and a great treat when you are there.

The house specialty is chicken in Köbli. The chicken was super crispy but the famous sauce is unfortunately no longer the same. It says 1 time “Ole” for medium hot and 2 times “Ole” for very hot. No matter which version you order, none of it is spicy. Unfortunately the sauce is different than the last time we were there. It's a shame

Good chicken and nice atmosphere in the historic building. The menu is very narrow, so I would only recommend the restaurant if you like chicken. It is probably one of the best chickens you can eat.

A restaurant operating since 1977 in a 425-year-old building. There is only chicken with special sauce on the menu and they do it very well. Definitely try it, you won't regret it 👍👍👍

The restaurant, located in a picturesque courtyard, offers an authentic and rustic atmosphere that one would expect from such a place. During my visit I tried the Mistkrätzerli and was thoroughly impressed with its taste. It was tender, juicy and perfectly cooked. The service was fine, although there is room for improvement. Nevertheless, the ambience of the farm contributes greatly to the overall experience and makes it worth a visit. Recommended for anyone looking for an authentic farm experience.

This time I was rather disappointed There is enough parking space, the price is rather expensive, we didn't even get a menu, mixed salad was too watery and boring, chicken in the basket wasn't that special for me, where was the sauce?! There used to be enough sauce in it. This time there was a clear saving. There were spider webs everywhere, why are dogs allowed in the restaurant where people eat? We wanted to take the rest with us, the lady just poured it into a bag, the sight was terrible, you probably have aluminum foil in the kitchen or something that your eyes can eat, but that's not possible.

The food has lost a lot of weight. Chicken was dry and the sauce is becoming less and less, so you are forced to buy an extra sauce for just under CHF 5.00. The ambience is still the same and the piano has been there for 100 years. Dessert: you can choose large or small, the price difference is not even CHF 2.00 and the small dessert is really small! Absolutely incomprehensible........ I probably won't come back.

I was looking forward to the chicken after a long time... Well 3 stars only for the friendly service and the mixed salad. Chicken was ok but the watery diluted sauce was very disappointing! Well...I'll save myself that 30 minute drive here in the future.

The food and service staff was good. However, children are absolutely not welcome. The manager expressly showed us the feeling of not being welcome several times within an hour with her looks.

Well, marketing is better than a restaurant. Seems run down. Service way too stressed, but friendly. Eating simple and cheap from mass production, with little love. Plates, cutlery and glasses rocked. We're not coming anymore.

Güggeli as always, simply delicious! Relaxed atmosphere, you just feel comfortable (especially in the "old" part). Unfortunately, the service wasn't quite as good on our last visit: the wrong sauces were brought and we had to ask for our drinks twice. Sure, it was hectic (Saturday night), but a little more could be expected. Nevertheless, we'll be back!

I've eaten here several times but today it was just different. We felt very uncomfortable because we missed the regular staff and their friendliness. All new people in the service, the placement at a small, narrow table with far too little space on it, a shame but after many years of loyalty and a good mood that was it for us. No Ole but a bye bye from us. Do it better.

The recipes for chicken and sauce are top secret. To date, I have not been able to even come close to imitating this palate experience. The price for this is that many people want to eat this menu, and the restaurant is therefore crowded and noisy.

Missed telephone reservation According to deputy boss Jan, it should have been the boss who missed the reservation. When we ask whether the reservation is made, Jan laughs on the phone and is unprofessional and unempathetic. Only offers a solution after a long discussion, after the customer has already given up... At the end, he just hangs up. Probably thinks they have enough customers anyway. Bad service. Disappointed.

The food was good. There is only chicken, but it is particularly delicious. It's a shame that different sauces aren't offered. There is only mild, medium hot and hot sauce. I would have liked to see another tartar sauce or something. Unfortunately it was also very crowded and therefore quite loud. Still recommended for people who like Puolet.

I've always enjoyed going there to eat since I was little. And I will continue to eat the best legendary “poulet im chörbli” there until I’m old and wrinkled.

The chicken is still like it was 20 years ago, that's the only plus! Rarely have I experienced such inattentive service, charged 0.60 per piece for ketchup and waited over 50 minutes for the food... an unfortunately very unsuccessful Sunday outing!

We chose the key to eat delicious chicken in the Chörbli again. They are known for this and also have a very fine chicken to offer in the Chörbli. Some salads can be chosen as a starter. I then chose a green salad as a starter. This one came with very little love given to me - straight out of the package! The salad was definitely not fresh, because some of the lettuce leaves were already brown and tarnished. The few chopped radishes didn't make the sight any better! Since I had only eaten about 1/3 of the plate, the waitress asked if I would like to eat more? I then replied that this salad had definitely had better days and something like that wouldn't be served in a restaurant and for the price of CHF 9.10!!! She accepted this but said nothing about it. When I looked at the bill I noticed that it had been charged in full and I expressed my opinion again. No reaction to that. Well, it's just a shame when you have experiences like that in a place where you would actually like to come back. I recommend that the Schlüssel team put fresh salad on the menu from now on - so the price would be justified! Otherwise, it's better not to offer a starter - because I think every guest can prepare a ready-made salad from the package themselves at home. Cheaper ;-)

We've been going to Rest.Key for years and are always very satisfied.👍 It's a very nice restaurant with a lot of charm. The chicken with the sauce is very fine and crispy. Service is always friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the last time a chicken was much smaller, it was more like a piece of crap. This had never happened before. The only big problem is parking. Unfortunately, there are always problems. We've already had two parking damages and last time we were blocked from the traffic path so we had to climb over the seats.😌

I went there with my friends to eat chicken in the Chörbli. The chicken selection was excellent and the portions were sufficient. The service was courteous and friendly. The price of the menu was reasonable. I would be happy to come back when the opportunity arises and will recommend the location to others.

If you want to eat good chicken in this area, you have to go here! We have been coming here again and again for over 25 years for 1x salad and 1x spicy chicken per person. And the journey is worth it. Since Corona you can also pay by card. Looking forward to next time!

While we were passing through, we became aware of the restaurant on the Internet. We were in this restaurant for the first time. Here is our review: -1. Star for the food. The chicken in the Chörbli was good, as was the sauce. -0 stars for reliability. We called 40 minutes in advance and placed our order over the phone so that we didn't have to wait long for the food when it arrived. Unfortunately this was not taken into account and we waited 40 minutes in the restaurant for our food. -0 stars for incorrect information. On the menu on the restaurant website the price is 21.50Fr. specified for the chicken with sauce. However, it actually costs more. -0.5 star for service. The serving girl was friendly but untrained when it came to prices. I didn't order the sauce in the chorbli with the chicken, but separately. Nobody informed us that the separate sauce (served in an espresso cup) costs more than 3 Fr. When we received the bill, the price for the chicken was suddenly 24.80 instead of 21.50. -0 stars for solution-oriented action. A conversation with the boss was very short. She justified the extra charge by washing the cup. There was no apology. For us it's not about the few francs, it's about misleading information on the website or no information from the service.

I have eaten here many times. By far the best Pouket restaurant in the area. You have the option of choosing between a whole, half, quarter or leg of chicken and you can choose the sauce and degree of roasting that goes with it. The restaurant has been in business for a long time and you can tell that the entire restaurant experience has been perfected for the customer. The service is very friendly. At peak times there can be large families with (if you're unlucky) screaming babies in the restaurant. But that has never really been a bad problem so far. I'd love to come by again. Greetings

Always delicious, chicken basket and French fries. It was well attended as always, so reservations are recommended. You don't even get a menu because there is only something to eat with 3 different spicy sauces. Friendly and quick service, as it should be. All in one, perfect.

This restaurant is literally the key to my heart. The atmosphere in the small room right in the heart of Tuggen is indescribable. I would particularly like to highlight the house sauce, which makes my heart beat faster every time. Little Beinz is really in the top league! Don't forget the service. Ms. Janser, the boss, knows her craft very well and responds to the guests' individual wishes. Long story short. The restaurant is incredibly great!

Actually, you eat chicken in the Chörbl. Since we don't eat meat, we decided on fish snacks. Well, let's just say okay. Salad with ready-made sauce is also okay.
