A very simple restaurant if you just look from the outside. But the food is very good and the people here are very nice! It is very nice to find this kind of place! We will definitely come back! We went on a Saturday, with no reservation and we had no problem! I highly recommend it.

If you don’t mind no-frill restaurant and you just want some good lebanese food, this is the place! I have been to a lot of other “hip” or fancy lebanese restaurants in Zurich but this one has really delicious home-made style lebanese food, also with much better prices. It was the first falafel that I liked ever in my life. Not dry at all, just crispy and full of flavors. The owner is also considerate and caters for all your vegan/veggie options.

The food was tasty, appealing and the bathroom was extremely clean. I'd 100% recommend the place. While the atmosphere isn't particularly special, since the restaurant is just about serving awesome food, it is quiet, it looks pretty and it's super-clean.

We were 2 people here yesterday for dinner. The food is very average - the vegetarian mezze is ok, nothing extraordinary. But especially the meat portions were extremely small. We ordered 2 meals but had to add a third one with meat. The ambiance doesn't fit the prices at all. However the service was great

If you're looking for good food, come here! We are regulars in the kitchen of Café Schmiede, and I have to say that the mezze plate is my favorite in Zurich! Today we went here for a cappuccino and I was pleasantly surprised (as an Italian) that the cappuccino was perfectly prepared. The owner is always smiling and friendly, so I recommend it to everyone for a coffee break or a delicious meal. The restaurant is simply furnished and always super clean. What can I say? You simply have to try this gem.

The vegi plate was very tasty and filled you up well, prices were classic for Zurich, fair in comparison. Linguistically, you would have to be able to speak Swiss German, then an English pronounced "veggie" would not be understood. The service was still nice and courteous. The ambience is a bit cool, more of a place for quick and short hunger pangs.

Frankly speaking, the food is like any Lebanese restaurant and the patron of the restaurant is respectable, but the price is expensive at times. I mean, 3 pieces of kebbeh and 3 pieces of falafel with hummus salad and a cola for 200 riyals. I think it is exaggerated.

Pretty decent Lebanese, one of the better ones I've tried in Zurich. Hummus, shawarma and falafel were all really good. The tabbule was nice too but really expensive at chf 12.50 for what is effectively a small salad. So pricey (although I guess this is Zurich...) but tasty food.

Today the two of us had lunch at the Café Restaurant Schmiede and ordered the vegi platter. We were completely satisfied: friendly, quick service, fresh, tasty and varied dishes, generous portions (we were even able to take some home) and a very good price-performance ratio. Gladly again at any time.

Four of us had dinner and it was very, very tasty! All 4 people were very enthusiastic and the service was excellent! The sarmas were one of the best I've ever tasted! The hummus was creamy, homemade and fresh! Highly recommended, it definitely won't be the last time!

The café is very cozy and inviting. The dishes served, on the other hand, are of high quality and extremely delicious - exactly to my taste. Here, brightly colored, delicate mezze are piled up in small mounds. In addition to kibbeh, rakakat, fattoush and kafta are also offered at affordable prices. This place is purely a form of living fantasy in which food plays the absolute main role!
