Here you can eat very good hot stone (I only had hot stone), very good meat, you can choose a large size, up to 1200 gr. Service is very friendly. The ambience is old but very well maintained. I can only recommend it and will go back.

Hospitality is very important here. The entire staff was very friendly and the food was a poem. We had a shrimp cocktail (warm), horse and beef fillet on the hot stone and as dessert a "small" nettle rod which was huge! All products are freshly prepared and of the best quality. The vegetables are nice and crunchy. We'll be back and we'll definitely recommend it.

I visit here regularly with friends. For us, one of the best “Heisse-Stei” restaurants in Eastern Switzerland. The service is super friendly and always very attentive. We feel very comfortable here and never go home hungry :-))))

It was great once again! We found the mixed salad especially great for two. It is served separately in a bowl with very fine rolls and extra salad dressing. Cool idea and super nice! Restaurant inside is ok, atmosphere outside would be great when the weather is nice.

The food was very good, the beef fillet was tender and the fries were well cooked and seasoned, the staff was very accommodating and helpful as unfortunately there are a few flies in the country. I think the approach with the fans is good. Maybe you could also put up some plants that the flies don't like. All in all great, I'd love to come back.

The specialty, as the name suggests, is hot stone. Of course there are also other things to eat including vegetarian. Service friendly and partly “you” culture. The service is “wild” so the overview falls by the wayside. There was no question about dessert. But all in all a visit worth it.

We reluctantly got a table in the restaurant for 1 1/4 hours at 5:00 p.m. without a reservation. But the food was very tasty and served at a fair price. Payment was made briefly and succinctly, without a thank you from the landlord. Of course, no goodbye. Been here twice... The first and last time!

Friendly reception, service was always prompt and also responded to some special requests. Everyone liked the food very much, there were ten of us and we all ordered from across the menu. Good portions, prices okay too, we'll be happy to come back.

Top top top!!! We have been regular guests at the Schützenhaus for many years. For us by far the best restaurant for hot stone. The staff is great and above all very friendly and always in a good mood. The restaurant is constantly changing visually, with walls being painted differently, new rooms being created - last winter they even set up a really great tent in the garden and decorated it beautifully. It's just amazing what you do again and again. You're great❤️🫶🏼 keep it up🤗

A very pleasant, inviting location with very tasty food. I think the meat is as tender as butter and the price/performance ratio is appropriate. 1 star deduction for the side plate for 2 people, it is clearly too small. I still put the star back on because I could have asked for more. Thank you for the delicious food and the extremely nice and very attentive service!!! I'd love to come back😘

A very authentic restaurant with a clear gastronomic concept. It's not just the carefully served hot stone that impresses, but also the carefully prepared other main courses, starters and desserts. The staff is extremely hospitable and the price-performance ratio is great! Particularly noteworthy is the small but fine wine list, on which there is a lot to discover (e.g. the Armenian red wine “Noa”!). A very cozy, well-kept and hospitable house that you would like to visit more than once 👍
