This is a great place! Gorgeous view, mesmerizing. A lot of snow. This place was closed, we walked around. We got there by car along a narrow asphalt one-way road and went back down another road. You can also walk there. Great view and very few tourists. Nature in its original form, majestic rocks, a lake of piercing color. It's like you're floating above the ground!

Nice place with a beautiful view of the Klöntalersee lake. There are also refreshments and attractions for children, but at the time of the 11/2023 visit, everything was already closed. Sitting area with fireplace and grill nearby. You can leave here by car and then go down to the lake.

A wonderful little spot in the wonderful Glarus mountains that invites you to linger and relax. The food was really delicious and the staff were always very friendly and accommodating despite all the work. We'd love to come back.

A family run restaurant. Check out their website to learn about their story. Fish freshly caught from Vierwaldstättersee or Lake Lucerne. Lightly pan fried, salt & a pinch of lemon juice. Yummy. An amazing view overlooking the lake...very therapeutic! 3 main options in reaching the place, either by car (driving through scenic route with a mix of road & ferry), by boat from Brunnen(check the boat time-table) & a walk or simply on a private boat. A must-do esp in sunny weather😉

Switzerland is still at home here. Down-to-earth menu, inexpensive, very friendly staff. Orders can still be made in dialect and the Swiss are in the majority.

Great Reschti, with a brilliant view of the Klöhntahlersee. Excellent local cuisine with a family atmosphere. As a homesick native of Glarus, I can only confirm this. Kalberwüste, Netzbraten and Zigerbrüüt are all fresh and in a rustic hut. What more do you want?

Beautiful view of the Klöntalersee from this restaurant. The service staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. It got a little chilly and they immediately brought us blankets to keep us warm. I definitely recommend trying the lumberjack steak.

Great place anyway. Nice service. What makes me think, however: reserve in advance, 1st row, so that I can drive up on time, consume something and then rush off again...🤔 Suggestion: you can make a reservation, specify the number of seats, and you will then be directed to an available table on site... this means that those who are there in real life can choose their seat. 😉😊

It was very nice. To be able to refresh yourself here after a steep hike uphill. The garden restaurant was fully occupied, but the waitress was still really nice!
