I liked it, a pleasant space for both children and adults. Restaurant and bar with excellent quality, and very pleasant to spend the day with the family, outdoors. Pools for adults and children 👍

Was banned from sliding on the slide even though I didn't do anything

Great scenery while swimming! And we loved the kids pool and diving boards.

Very good selection of varied products, wide variety of wines and spirits, the meat is of good quality and lots of variety, as well as the bread and vegetables, the fruit is fresh!!!

Very nice, well-maintained facility

You can have a good time with your family or just swim by yourself. For small children there is a separate pool, but the water is cool there. Sometimes there is wind.

Heated pool with clean changing rooms and a friendly staff. Only downside is that there is a current in the pool which makes it a bit more difficult to swim straight when swimming laps. View of the mountains around the pool is amazing.

Very well maintained swimming pool with very friendly staff. There is also a nice pool for the children.

With the renovation for the small children, it has become much nicer.

I've been to many swimming pools, but the Geschina completely exceeded my expectations. The staff seemed extremely friendly to me, I especially noticed this one girl with blonde hair because of her friendly and courteous nature. LG

Bathrooms good, buffet should be redone

Coffee without pizzazz, from a Krups household machine, in a plastic cup that you can't hold, for 4.- I think...

I think the conversion was well thought out. I just don't find the whole thing with the many barriers all that practical. Because a child who can't swim yet followed his friends into the deep pool and the mother couldn't find the direct route because of the barriers.

Very nice outdoor pool. Especially family-friendly, as the whole swimming pool is very clearly built and there is a separate swimming pool for all age groups, not forgetting the great slide. The new building changes are beneficial and the newly separate toddler pool is very nicely done. Very inviting meadow, with natural shady areas. The staff at the kiosk is very friendly and does an exemplary job of integrating young adults who are learning the ropes in the world of work. What's also cool is that there are two options for eating out. Something for in between downstairs in the kiosk or upstairs in the inviting restaurant to linger a little longer. As a vegetarian, I would be happy about an additional vegetarian option, but that doesn't bother me at all, after all it's a swimming pool and the various salads are ideal for the summer. During the day I can enjoy swimming with the children and in the morning or evening I go and swim my length in peace. Very ideal and in a good location.

The swimming pool is very nice, but the restaurant staff is very unfriendly. When, after a long wait for the condition (restaurant didn't have many customers), I went to the counter to order a strawberry frappe for my daughter, she said to her colleague in front of me "I don't feel like making a strawberry frappe" I was speechless from this disrespectful behavior. Hire staff who are friendly and respectful of guests...

There weren't many people at the restaurant upstairs, but they are still very slow and a blonde young woman is disrespectful so it's best to eat downstairs.

Bathroom is very clean and good, the restaurant upstairs is slow and cheeky so please go order food downstairs!

Very nicely remodeled. The run for the big slide is great. Baby baking with mini slide and awning is also very good. Service at the checkouts could be friendlier. One was sitting on the cooler with the drinks and was busy with her cell phone. Otherwise, everything is good.

Not nice Children at the age of five are no longer allowed to play a ball, are not satisfied, can no longer go there. The owner doesn't even dare to accept a complaint

Personally, I would really like more shaded areas. Price/performance from the swimming pool and kiosk service was very good.

Clean and not too crowded bathroom. Very relaxed, very young staff, even if things are a bit wilder on the diving platform and there are noticeably few prohibition signs. Plus, cheap entry.

Normal swimming pool but food prices too high

Beautiful public outdoor pool with long slide and diving boards. Clean changing rooms, plenty of space on the grass, both in the sun and in the shade. A stone's throw from the city center. Highly recommended if you are looking to cool down on hot summer days.

Extremely bad bathroom. Cold water in the pools and absolutely disappointing performance of the boiler that heats the water for the showers. Scouts who are hoping for a great time at the pool and a warm shower will be bitterly disappointed. I won't swim here again.

Good infrastructure, great slide

Unfortunately, card payments only from CHF 50.- Not so practical these days as almost no one has cash anymore. With luck I still had some change with me. Otherwise friendly staff and pleasant swimming pools

Nice and clean swimming pool. Children enjoyed it. Price is good. 6 euros for adults and 3.50 for children up to 15 years. Also good changing room with showers.

Swimming is sensational. The athletes have 1-2 lanes. The fun pools are separate. And the normal swimmers have the other lanes. Showering is possible, has many. Not so warm, but it doesn't cost anything. Entry after 5 p.m. is 4 francs. A season subscription for 100 isn't even worth it. Perfect for after-work.

Few shaded areas, food is small portions and long waiting times. The food can be served outside via. Eat at the table or at the table one floor higher up the Betton stairs. A big plus is the giant slide, but there is a long wait at peak times. It has a 1m diving platform with a board and a 3m diving platform without a board. This 3m diving platform is very steep and has narrow aluminum steps that are "slip resistant".

Nice bathroom in itself, BUT: - no toilet paper in women's toilets. will not be filled despite notification. The lifeguard prefers to play around on his cell phone.

Great swimming pool for a nice day with the whole family

Overall a great swimming pool, lots of shaded areas, good children's area. The two individual small pools could certainly be made even more beautiful. We thought it was great to borrow books. Unfortunately no children's menus in the restaurant.

When I think of the Geschina, so many childhood memories come back to me. I still remember exactly how I thought about it Three-meter tower had broken his thigh. The staff treated me and took me to the hospital within a very short time. Or when we had 10 of them piled together on the slide. I have rarely seen anyone fly out of a corner like the man in front of me. Or the hot beach volleyball duels with the then unknown Laciga brothers, who spent their summer holidays camping in Brig.

Friendly, good location, children friendly

Nice and spacious swimming pool with 50 meter pool, children's pool and relatively large water slide. It is surrounded by lawns where you can lie and there is even a beach volleyball net with sand!

Beautiful outdoor swimmingpool with very reasonable prices and a 50m bassin, dive area and a big waterslide. Much reccomendable- esp compared to Brigerbad which is most of the time quitw crowded and way overpriced.

It is said that if the swimming pool is closed, this will be communicated on social media. I looked in three places, everywhere was open. When you call they say the swimming pool is only closed during thunderstorms. Today the doors were closed again, although it didn't rain or wind...just a few clouds in the sky. Pretty customer-unfriendly.

Great swimming pool and not expensive. Medium slide, enough space to lie in the grass under the trees, neat and friendly staff. If you arrive early, park in front of the door, coins only 50 cents per hour, drink 4 euros and fries 6 euros, nice for a relaxing day for the children

Swimming with a view of the snow-capped mountains - Cool Chill!

Very nice swimming pool, only in the catering area some things should be rethought. Waited 30 minutes for nuggets with fries and then the fries run out🤦‍♀️ - that can't happen... and the boss sits in the corner while a kitchen helper is sweating and can't keep up with the food... you think do your part

The Geschina outdoor swimming pool in Brig offers a renovated pool, modern changing rooms, a wind-protected terrace and a public bar. The new heating installation keeps the water at a pleasant temperature. The swimming pool also includes a paddling pool for children, a 75 meter long slide and 1 and 3 meter diving boards which will delight young people and adolescents.

Pretty unfriendly conditions at the entrance, schnipisches and arogandes verhalden

The swimming pool is beautiful and great for swimming laps, for families with children or just for relaxing in the shade. Opening times 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. in high season. An earlier opening would be desirable, especially on hot days. Also because depending on the lifeguard, cleaning takes place from time to time. Most lockers are blocked seasonally by aquafitters. The management would have to react here. A shower or sink is often not repaired until the end of the season. I correct: even at the start of the season some things are not repaired. A pity.

My absolute favorite pool in the Upper Valais.The complex is beautifully maintained, as are the green areas.Food is tip top in the restaurant above. Water temperature ok. Entrance fees acceptable.

Yes so often there but never reviewed 😎 If you are a sporty swimmer and have an affinity for a great chill or relax then go there 💪 Or have a little snack or a refreshing drink on the upper deck.. I also prefer it from the Brigerbad next door too!! Cheaper and the outdoor part matches better your sporty soul 😉

Nice location, heated, water temperature always 24 to 26 degrees.

Food, entry price very good. And everything a child needs to have fun.

Nice smaller bathroom with a relatively large water area. The entire bathroom makes a clean and well-kept impression. Salads in the bathroom tasted good. Cheap parking, unfortunately very small parking spaces.

Overall old infrastructure lots of tripping hazards where you can injure your feet. Mostly very crowded. One attraction is the water slide but that's about it

Beautiful 50 meter pool and a few smaller pools. There is a long slide. A low diving board and a high diving platform. Entrance and snacks at Swiss prices. 20 Euro entrance for 2 adults and two children.

The swimming pool has been closed for several days due to wind! I have a subscription and want to swim. I can very well decide for myself when it's too cold for me! Going to Brigerbad is not an option for me. Or can I go there with my Geschina subscription?

Very nice outdoor pool. You can enjoy the great panorama of the snow-capped mountains and glaciers while swimming. Cheap entry. Basically very well maintained and clean, only the entrance to the beautiful and long slide could be a little better maintained.

Excellent except for the lawn (space, shade)

Not as good as before :( Listening to music and playing with a small ball have been banned lately (a shame), and if you slide one after the other on the slide you get a detention. The swimming pools and the facility itself are brilliant:) Perfect for relaxing and lying in the sun or cooling off in the water.

Unfortunately it's not as great as it used to be Rules for overflowing, neither listening to quiet music nor playing with a mini football. Even if you jump off the edge you get a warning. In addition, the lifeguards have no decency!
