Wow, I haven't eaten so well in a long time with super attentive and courteous service. That's how hospitality works. Since it was our first time there, we were brought “tasters”. Everything was just right! Thank you!

Price-performance ration was excellent!! We ordered Sham Mezze including meat and all dishes were very delicious. Milk pudding that we ordered as dessert was very fine as well. They also have Sham Mezze as vegitarian or vegan version. Service was good and the restaurant was cozy. Most tables were reserved for friday evening. I would definitely come back :)

Nice ambience, good service - Chicken skewer doesn't taste seasoned at all, it tastes burnt - Unfortunately, Toum doesn't taste like anything Not recommended for the price!

Syrian cuisine has it all. I have never experienced the mezze that Dilo and his team have conjured up anywhere else in Zurich. We all ate our fill. Superfine mezze in all variations at a reasonable price. The fact that the restaurant is very close to Zurich main station is another advantage of Sham. And don't forget: Dilo is the perfect host. He is attentive, friendly and has a heart for children. We'll be back - again and again. Thank you very much.

Fantastic food, it really feels like you are in Lebanon or Syria. Cozy and quiet atmosphere. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Had super delicious kababs of minced beef with spices, chicken, and steak. They really nailed the bubaganoush - best I've ever had. Also enjoyed the garlic sauce and hummus that came with my meal. Expensive though at almost $60, but incredible.

I was able to taste very tasty Syrian/Lebanese cultural food. The atmosphere is immediately welcoming and the service is quick and the staff friendly. The strong point of this restaurant are the dishes: tasty, tasty and in adequate doses. At Sham you can really taste those typical and culturally respectful dishes. A true culinary experience.

An unforgettable atmosphere of the house, a very nice ambience with attention to detail. Tip: It is better to reserve a table in advance. The owner of the restaurant greets every visitor personally👍. Polite, professional, unobtrusive staff who simply read your every wish. And the food is simply poetry, (compliments to the chef and his team) incredibly delicious😋, just come by and try it. Every time I visit this restaurant I feel joy and happiness in my soul🫶

It's always a pleasure for me to eat at Sham. The service is very nice and personable and the food is excellent. From mezze to shawarma, with or without meat, everything is delicious. Be sure to make a reservation, the restaurant is always busy. Lunch and evening. The location couldn't be better - right next to the main station. A good outdoor area in summer. Definitely the best restaurant I have discovered in Zurich in the last 11 years. The food is excellent, the service impeccable, beautiful environment, always full. It is advisable to book. Prices I could even say are below average, considering that we are right next to the central station. Positive note that I love and that is missing practically everywhere in Zurich: they also serve one-liter bottles of sparkling water!

It's not the first time we've eaten here, and for good reason: the food tastes very good, in my opinion it's healthy and not too greasy like you would normally find in Arabic cuisine, and the staff is super nice. Very fine food (personal favorites: stuffed grape leaves and hummus with beef), warm staff; it wasn't too loud even though the restaurant was full. The portions are large :-) and it has many vegetarian and vegan options. They took my companion's allergy seriously and gave us good advice. We'll definitely go again.

A real highlight is the combination of cold and warm mezze, in the style of traditional Middle Eastern cuisine. Thanks to the current weather conditions, the restaurant also offers the opportunity to dine outdoors - another plus point. Due to limited seating capacity, I strongly recommend reserving in advance.
