Shopping Arena St. Gallen in St. Gallen

It's a shame and disappointing, I went to the arena with my grandson because he could ride on these little carousels, cars and minion vehicles for 1.-. He always saved his 1 Fränkler and threw it in proudly. Today we were there again and what do I see, the machines are now priced at 2.- and can only be paid with a card! A reason not to visit the arena anymore! Because I have stores elsewhere too! A pity!

A very nice modern center. Good connection. Everything you need is there. Supermarket, drugstore, clothing and much more, great restaurants and cafes. It was clean and clear. The opening times are also good. Parking like almost everywhere.

Center is clean and modern, good selection. A provider with sushi, fresh smoothies and bowls and a hairdresser are missing. An H&M Home or Depot would also be great. Parking situation in the afternoons and on weekends: to put it nicely: difficult.

I like shopping arena but the day before Christmas on December 23rd I don't think it's nice for the employees there to have night shopping until 10 p.m.

A parking guidance system that shows parking spaces for electric vehicles as normal free parking spaces is misleading and therefore out of date

I recommend visiting the mall in the morning as it is less crowded. Overall, the center makes a very clean impression. However, parking options are often limited at peak times. I find the high parking fees particularly annoying, which I can't fully understand. It would be customer-friendly if you could park for free for at least an hour when shopping in the center. Instead, the focus seems to be more on maximizing profits. That's why I prefer to take the bus to the arena.

A large shopping center with two grocery stores next to it is Ikea and MediaMarkt.

The Gamestop inside sells defective games. 2 out of 3 games don't work. Please check the goods you sell to customers, even if the games are used.

It's best to go in the morning as there are fewer people. The shopping center makes a clean impression. Parking options are limited during peak times.

My wife and I bought various things at Müller this morning at 10:20 a.m. When we arrived at the checkout, a very unfriendly person with a dark expression served us. No good morning, thank you or anything like that. People like that simply don't belong in a store. The three stars are for the variety of items. Not for the person who was at the checkout today!

It does have great charging options. But if the arena is well attended, no one cares whether combustion engines are parked at the charging stations. As an e-driver, you're in trouble if you have to charge and the stations are blocked by idiots.

Very modern. Open, bright and very friendly atmosphere with lots of space. 46 (!) charging stations for e-cars including Tesla Supercharger. Super cheap parking rates.

Two days ago I called Müller's customer service about my daughter's Mixi Magical pot, which no longer worked. They told me to go to the branch and return it, that wouldn't be a problem. At first they said it had to come with packaging even though the pot came wrapped in plastic, then the branch manager was called who told us that the toy was extremely damaged and she almost couldn't believe that it was so old, but it was In a tone that I have never experienced, feeling such arrogance as a customer is a no go, and she said that you are not obliged to take something back because the toys have no guarantee. The toy was used twice, I actually didn't see that it was that damaged, I obviously couldn't completely get rid of the powder residue from the magic potion, there was a minimal scratch on the side and the rest was completely brandless. I myself worked at Smyths Toys and would never have spoken to a customer like that. All toys that require batteries have a two-year guarantee and every toy is taken back unless it is no longer whole and even then the customer is never treated as condescendingly as they are the lady treated us today. I definitely won't go to this branch again.

Nice shopping mall with various shops, cafes and supermarket. You can charge your car here too. Very clean and free of charge toilets.

Just because of a gift egg pack compartment (ug) next to Coop. A woman with short gray hair was wrapping a present so she made our happiness a shame!!!! Really nice... we're happy with the gift shopping from coop and inter discount. We were waiting in the raier, she was angry/discussed with other customers and also with us because she said she didn't want to pack because it was from SMYTS TOYS FROM WEST CENTER BUT IT WAS NICELY WRAPPED IN SMYTS TOYS WITH OWN PAPERS FROM THERE. AND only we want to wrap 2 gifts from coop small and one from inter discount 1 car nod larger than 40cm so she has started to do a lot of blah blah blah and ruined the desire for the GIFT REALLY! BETTER NEVER PACK IT UP AND BUY IT AS A GIFT AGAIN. BASTA

There could be more shops, but wonderful Christmas decorations!!

It can't be that in winter it's -10 degrees outside and 50 degrees inside!!! OK, it shouldn't be freezing cold inside, but not that hot either!!!! it is uncomfortable.

Keeps products on the shelf that show up as blocked in the system at the checkout. Amateurish! Go where you come from!

Huge modern and well organized shopping centre

Haven't shopped there for a while. Coop has rebuilt and unfortunately reduced the size by half. Other businesses were closed. It no longer has the charm it once had, which is a shame.

It's all about infopoint! Older lady very brisk and unfriendly in her tone. That's not customer service for a center like this, it's a shame I immediately lost interest in shopping and left the house.

A very nice shopping center, but totally overwhelmed in terms of traffic. The last time we were stuck in a traffic jam in the parking garage was for 30 minutes. The opening hours on Saturdays until 5 p.m. are also counterproductive; in Austria or Germany, shopping is sometimes possible until 10 p.m.... That's why we're now spending money abroad. Now there is only one star. After 1 hour And 58min. If the full three hours are still charged (see photo), that's an absolute no-go, even if it's only about one franc.

If you're already making money by renting out space for charging stations, you should also be able to offer toilets. Toilets for outside opening hours are indicated by a directional sign, but this is on floor 2, children's paradise, which is of course closed outside opening hours. At a store where you spend a good half hour at a time, that's not service!

Best shopping center in Eastern Switzerland, it has many shops and Tesla Superchargers

Great shopping center, lots of shops. Food, clothing, toys and more. All you need.

There have recently been 50+ charging stations for electric cars, which I think is absolutely great! BUT, these are normal 11kW AC stations, perfect for shopping in peace...but depending on the provider up to 1.20CHF for 1 kW!!! They're really on the hook...we're talking about electricity prices around 0.15CHF or less...really a blatant rip-off!

I think it's great that there's now a Müller! I received great advice and the employees are very accommodating and friendly!

My rating is all about the MÜLLER I went shopping on Friday January 7th, 2022 between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m. I wanted to have a gift wrapped after paying. When I asked at the checkout whether this was possible (as in every Müller I had visited so far), she called a colleague to wrap my gift for me. But she then said straight away: “Christmas is over!” It's not about what kind of day it is and what the occasion is! The point is that it is a service! For me this is absolute discrimination. I was then rudely given a piece of paper with which I was supposed to wrap my gift on the way. Without glue, because of course I didn't spontaneously have it in my bag. I think the shopping arena is great and will still visit it and give the Müller a wide berth.

Great shopping center with some well-known brands. Enough parking spaces, clean sanitary facilities, some seats inside where you can linger. There could be a better culinary offering. Other centers have better offers, even if they have a new Coop restaurant. Bakery offer too large. 2xKuhn, 1xSchwyter. You could do something else here. E.g. Asian, Mexican, etc. Great decoration for Christmas.

Already started a rant at IKEA. But the shopping arena is also partly to blame with this absolute construction chaos and poor signaling. You have to go straight to the U2, there was no sign where the IKEA is for a long time, so you wander for a while and pollute the air down there until suddenly it says IKEA, but I had to go to the U1 because of the Click & Collect. This wasn't clearly written anywhere, so I wandered around for a while and, if I was lucky, drove up a ramp that led to the U1. There were people there directing the traffic, but a few more signs would help a lot, especially if you want to go to the U1 or this Click & Collect should be posted. The parking garage looks nice, but it was organized like a South American parking garage. Absolute no-go. Fun with the children who want to play maze games in the car.

Like the shopping arena. With many shops where people are spread out well. Sometimes there is a little waiting time when entering the parking garage. You just have to get through it. Or stay at home.

Large selection. Always worth a visit. Now all that's missing is PARKING PAY for easier parking without waiting.

The number of shops is OK, but there could be more. Usually very crowded on weekends. Very pleasant for shopping during the week. The restaurants also have a rather limited offering. Toilets quite ok. Parking: very good!

Unfortunately, the arena has also become uniform. The same shops and the same stuff everywhere. The heat in there is also unbearable. From the start it was always too warm. The mask is also required despite a medical certificate, which is not possible. So I definitely won't go again. It's boring and tiring. I was happy to be outside in the fresh air again! And the parking fees are very high!!!!

I especially liked the big Christmas tree!!

It is very good for shopping. From groceries, clothes, furniture, restaurants, Electronics, shoe store, etc. everything you need for life. Great for shopping and to spend free time and of course St.Gallen's football arena is simply great. The visit is worth it.

Shopping center like there are 10,000 others. Has no unique selling point, sometimes bargains possible. You'll be overwhelmed by the impressions, I was happy when I was outside again. Overall, something for those with a heavier budget. Unfortunately there was no sign of air conditioning, overall temperatures were too high on all levels, in addition to the mask, although not all visitors felt it was necessary to wear one. In the outdoor areas, the noise from the motorway was sometimes unbearable. Parking fee slightly outrageous!

Good entrance concept to the underground car park and enough parking spaces. Shopping opportunities are great. Exiting the underground car park is an absolute no-go. The entire amount on 2 tracks. Took more than 20 minutes to get out! I will never go to Shopping Arena again.

Sad scandal!!! The Corona Warn app shows me -219 infected people walking around in the Arena Center and including other shopping centers without a mask and without keeping their distance. Plus everyone coughs in everyone's face like it's nothing!!! I feel completely fooled! Can someone tell me what's wrong here or what's the point if no one follows the rules. Take Zurich as an example. They're doing it right?

You need a lot of patience in this shopping center, you just can't get things done quickly here! In the middle of the center, 2 elevators and 2 escalators that move in the opposite direction with the speed of a snail. So slowly that people all walk, unfortunately that's not always possible because the shopping carts are in the way. You are ALWAYS forced to walk to the middle of the elevators or escalators, there is no other way to quickly change floors. Staircases, if they even have one, are not recognizable as such. If there were to be a fire here, it would be a catastrophe! There are huge billboards outside saying that businesses have long since closed. If you consider that 6 months notice period for commercial real estate is the standard in Switzerland, that's pretty sloppy. Cleanliness and hygiene are not very important here either. Furthermore, people are not counted and keeping your distance doesn't work either.

Great shopping center and a pleasant shopping atmosphere for the whole family, including the opportunity to have your children looked after (kids arena, 2nd floor - nice staff and huge arcade there). I can go shopping with my companion in a relaxed manner, have something to eat/drink in one of the numerous, cozy restaurants and then pick up the exhausted children. Fun for all of us, big and small; always happy to come back! Highly recommended.

I think the location is brilliant. You can stay here all day long. Nice and spacious and clear. Plenty of parking spaces available. Always happy to be there again. Also because of Ikea, of course.

Went to Bambolino with the kids for two hours on Sunday. 15.- Parking fee as a short-term parker... But are you okay otherwise?

We went to "Kuhn" and bought something to eat and drink. We sat down and, since the beer was in a can, we asked for a glass. We were refused the glass with an excuse. With all love and respect, refusing a simple glass to a consuming, i.e. paying, guest is very unfriendly and unprofessional. After all, you are a guest and you don't want to feel unwanted and superfluous in a restaurant.

Completely over the top and tacky Christmas lights. TOTALLY WRONG these days! Saving electricity doesn't seem to be an issue.

The Shopping Arena is a very nice shopping center with a lot of selection. I also think it's good that there's an IKEA right there. It's a bit difficult on weekends and before holidays, as there are sometimes long traffic jams in front of the underground car park. The selection of shops is large and diverse.

A good shopping center with a wide range of shops where you can buy practically everything. The mall is beautifully designed and clean inside. The parking garage is spacious with plenty of space but costs 1.50 francs for 1 hour. which is also acceptable. To validate the parking ticket you can also pay with a card, which is another plus point for me. All in all, the Shopping Arena is always worth a visit and it's also worth going there for shopping.

There were 2 rooms throughout for changing and breastfeeding children. After the toilets were renovated, one breastfeeding room was completely abolished even though both rooms were constantly occupied! And the highlight: the nursing room that still exists doesn't even have a chair!!! Does that mean you should breastfeed your child while standing?! Very poorly organized for such a "family friendly" shopping center!

The shopping arena is great. Lots of shops where everyone can find what they're looking for, it's spacious and even when there's a lot going on, you don't feel cramped. Paid parking, where all customers consume something, you could, for example. Make the first 2 hours free or something.

It is the only shopping mall in the St. Gallen city. It has a pretty good bus connectivity. It has a big coop store, Ikea and many other big brands of clothing, fashion, accessories. It is very good shopping there when it gets freezing cold in winters or raining cat and dogs in summers.

Really like it.. 😃..... Lots of good shopping opportunities with always friendly staff. Good parking options! Also for taller vehicles... Even on the 2nd parking floor 2.25m! But what's always annoying has nothing to do with the actual parking spaces, but rather the Ikea loading zone spaces that are abused so much by notoriously lazy people😡!

Very good place to shop and spend some time during a day with bad weather. For families there are also indoor playgrounds.
