Among all the stalls in the covered market I chose this one, which offered typical Italian pasta and what can I say? Really excellent, also the staff, very helpful and friendly

Today I had pasta with bolognese sauce. The pasta was cooked completely soft and there was hardly any meat in the sauce. Definitely not like the beautiful picture hung there. Unfortunately very disappointing. A pity

When in rome, do as the Romans, but when I'm Basel, eat as the Romans. Perfect roman pastas. The cacio e pepe and the carbonara were exquisite. Also the red Chianti wine coupled really well. You can tell they are passionate about the food they provide

While walking during my stay in Basel I went to eat at Si Chef in Markthalle and I have to say that it deserves all five stars. Super friendly and kind staff and I must say that I ate the best pasta dish of my life. Sincere congratulations!!!

At this stand you cook like in Italy. The boss is Italian and makes it like you're eating at Nonna's. Everything freshly prepared. Pasta al dente. If you like Italian, this is a must. Compliment .very nice and friendly hosts. Just mamma mia che buono

Excellent, authentic Italian food freshly prepared. The chef is also very flexible, e.g. if you want something from the menu but vegetarian or vegan. Super friendly and efficient. Try the “orecchiette alle cime di rapa”, it tastes delicious.
