Soul Köfte House in Zürich

The food was good, not the best, everything was missing a bit more flavor and spices to the taste. The pita was delicious, made fresh and tasted light and fluffy. Falafel was okay, but it could have been seasoned a bit more. The main showstopper for us was the baklava cheesecake, which is the only reason that I would return here again.

30.- For rice with vegetables take-away is clearly too expensive. It was good, but definitely not worth the price.

While the food is good and made from fresh produce, the value for money is not. Restaurant targeting Swiss people and also a Swiss palate. Staff are very friendly

Wandering around beautiful Zurich, I come across soulful Köfte House. Nice spacious and well furnished room. I order a köfte wrap.... Magic, super tasty and seasoned very well. Everything you will eat in this place is homemade with fresh, quality ingredients, including the bread for the wraps! To conclude I tasted a delicious and not too sweet Baklawa cheesecake, rich in pistachio and flavour! I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend it!!!!

Update: definitely try the baklawa cake. Outstanding. Very tasty food. Authentic and fresh. Contrary to a review here, I would not speak of “fast food”. The quality of the food is too good for this. Visually and taste-wise 1A. Staff friendly, young and pleasant.

Absolutely delicious food and really friendly people who are eager to share authentic flavours. Everything was prepared perfectly. Even the fries were perfectly spiced. The hummus was so smooth, tasty and fresh. The homemade baklava cheesecake was amazing. We'll be back for more.

I ordered shawarma. Pros: I have to say, the garlic sauce was delicious! The bread was completely different, I liked that too. Con: There was so much red cabbage in there that I barely tasted the chicken. A pity. I'm not saying it was bad, but for me it's just not shawarma as I know it. The store is also very expensive. I would come back to try something different but definitely wouldn't order shawarma again.

I've recently discovered this place and visited a few times in two weeks already. I tried the tavuk and burger cheese wraps and they were fantastic, fresh bread with very high quality ingredients. The staff is very friendly and dedicated also.

Incredibly authentic cuisine, like being invited to eat at your best friend's mom's house. You really notice your love for food and you immediately get hungry just thinking about it. The photo corner and stylish tables have a cool ghetto vibe. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Zurich.

Very arrogant and contemptuous! The food itself was good, I had a burger cheese. However, as others have already mentioned, the staff didn't seem welcoming and the man gave us the feeling that we had something personal against Turks. The girls in the kitchen made us feel uncomfortable with their whispers and looks. They also corrected us every time we used the Turkish term for food among each other. When we brought it to his attention and that we had come for halal food and Muslim community support, he said "That's your gut feeling!" Questions against questions and manipulation. Not again, thank you!

Turks hostile and arrogant boss! Even worse, has absolutely no idea about gastronomy. The food is nothing special. Very thick, soggy flatbread. (Dürüm) Köfte meat was very dry, but there was too much and too heavy thick sauce. The staff are also very arrogant like the owner himself. Never again.

Visiting from the United States, I was looking for a dinner spot with Halal options and discovered this hidden gem, highly rated on Google. Opting for the Berlin Köfte, my first bite revealed the reason behind the glowing reviews – the food is superb, complemented by exceptionally friendly and kind service. I would eat here again and would recommend to others!

I tried the chicken halal plate and was immediately very positively surprised. Pleasantly sweet seasoning or marinade. Side dishes were also very nice. Plus a mint tea, wonderful. Finally a restaurant that doesn't rely on SyGa. Unfortunately, this area is becoming increasingly rare in Zurich. The facility is very well done and the staff is also very friendly. I'd love to come back!

Food a smooth 10/10! (A real orgasm for the taste buds on the tongue) Food is prepared fresh and with great attention to detail. Prices are normal for Zurich/Switzerland and absolutely justified for this quality. The atmosphere is cozy and the music is pleasant. Ventilation in the semi-open kitchen is great! You don't smell like fried dough when you're a guest. Reservations are currently not possible, but not necessary because there are enough seats. You order at the counter and the food is served to your table. The staff is very friendly, cheerful and accommodating to any extra requests. You feel welcome and not dismissed. We ask whether everything is ok or whether we need anything else. I've never been disappointed so far (except when the delicious and best 'Sigara Börek' with feta - that I've ever had! - unfortunately ran out) ;') Parking spaces are a bit difficult to find on Saturday evenings (city of Zurich;), but since the restaurant is close to the main train station, it can be easily reached on foot or by bus (stop just around the corner). I always like to bring friends over, but communication between us is reduced because they always just say 'MHHH MHHH MHHH'. My favorites are: Sigara Börek, chicken plate (with hummus, rice, vegetables, salad etc.) and mint tea. One of my favorite food spots in Zurich - I can recommend it 100%!

Even though we should totally be trying local cuisine we ate this two nights in a row because it’s THAT GOOD! Very kind staff. 10/10!

Wow. I came from Munich and it's impossible to eat that well there for this cuisine. Subtle flavours, perfect breads, the right portion size. My gf took the chicken teller which was the winner.

Popped into the city after a long day. This place was recommended by one of my band mates. Checked it out and loved it. The slight smell of shisha was delightful. The food was fantastic (Berlin Koftë). Service was friendly and swift. Oh and lots of vegan options if you’re looking for that. I most certainly will be back with friends

Little aggressive man (comparable to a vacuum cleaner robot with a short circuit) wanted to show us what kind of man he is and beat us up. The difference in altitude saved us, shin guards are strongly recommended!
