Soul St in Zürich

Very taste good, would come back definitely!

Not quite the experience I was hoping for... The start was quite good, they sat us at a table and already asked, what we would like to order as aperitiv. We've just ordered a big bottle of mineral water. Then the wait begun... After 20 minutes no waiter to take our orders, so I asked the waiter next to our table if he could take our orders, he replied "I am sorry, I am not responsible for your table, this is my colleagues responsibility". I was quite a bit surprised about that answer, so I asked if he at least could tell his colleague to come to our table and take our order, he confirmed. But after waiting again 10 more minutes and no waiter to take our order (so we didn't even have any appetizers... nothing) we paid for the water and then left. The restaurant was not fully booked. Half of the tables were empty and there seemed to be enough personnel in and outside the kitchen to manage that amount of guests easily. So to us, it was a disappointing experience. Besides the overpriced water we were not able to try out the food. The location of the restaurant is also not easy reachable if arriving by public transport, better consider going with your car or uber.

Allow me to say this is one place that you can have it all. Great food, great service, amazingly kind people working here. Even when they were busy, they still paid attention to detail and to all customers equally

I have dined twice at this place and both times were wonderful. The food is on another level (And all thanks to Orlando and his team). Saaj and Francisco are super helpful and friendly. I've been in Zurich for 10 years and I never imagined I could find a restaurant where every single dish (because I've tried them all!) is delicious. I recommend it 100%.

Soul street is a restaurant with a chef and international class service, incredible food by Mexican Chef Orlando, he is a great host and it shows in the delicacies he prepares, in his restaurant you can try everything from incredible tacos to tikka masala , something Arabic or something oriental perfectly done since it is very difficult to get such good food from different parts of the world in one place, simply admirable, congratulations, without a doubt it should be on everyone's dreamlist 🔥 Congratulations to the whole team 💎💎💎

It was my first time at Soul Street for a private party. They organized a lavish Indian buffet which was the best you can find in Zurich!!! The service and atmosphere was simply extraordinary. I have been recommending the place to others who are looking for a private party venue. Really a treasure in Zurich city!

It was a very good experience with friendly staff and special thanks go to Marin and Nana who went out of their way to accommodate our specific requests.

Had a meal here recently. The food was beautiful and our server marin was a true gentleman taking care of all our needs. Highly recommend!!

Restaurant at the Five Zurrich Hotel. Cozy atmosphere, very attentive waiters, we ordered steak and wine, it was very tasty.

The restaurant ‚Soul St’ offered a friendly and good service. The restaurant was quite busy later in the evening with a large outside terrace. We chose the vegan Burger, Halloumi Salad and the Mezze platter. The food was very tasty and the plates were nicely presented! They offer some vegetarian / vegan options, but unfortunately those are not the most creative dishes (e.g. penne all’arrabbiata). The design of the venue was refreshing and we got a special dessert.

That definitely wasn't the last time. We really enjoyed it 😍 the welcome, the service, the food and the ambience were great! 👍

Very nice and clean restaurant with delicious food! The service was very friendly and accommodating, we were there as a group and can recommend it to anyone who is a fan of fusion kitchen. You can also prepare drinks that are not on the menu, such as homemade ice tea.

The various cuisines under one roof naturally invite you to eat your way through the menu. It's worth trying out different dishes. Even though I thought I wasn't shocked by the overpriced prices anymore, I was almost blown away here. The service only speaks English. So if you can overlook this, you will have a great stay with delicious food, great drinks and beautiful views

Very interesting place, definitely worth to see & try. Oriental dishes were a bit disappointing, but Chicken Tikka Masala & the dessert were delicious. Very good wine selection. Expensive. Waiter service was ok, but managers were trying their best to improve & made us feel very comfortable. Very cool Birthday complement)!

We celebrated my son's birthday at Soul Street. We shared our dishes and every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, especially from Alejandro! The cocktails were expensive but really good! We all liked the ambiance and decor. Overall, good value for money and we will definitely go back.

My wife and I appreciated a lot Alejandro who has been a very nice waiter all night along. The idea of this restaurant is pretty cool all staff members are very kind and there were 5 variety of food the night (Saturday) I was there with my family of 2 children 5 and 6 years old that really appreciated French fries and chicken. Indian food was really nice. Furthermore for my birthday Alejandro and the staff were very nice. You can go ahead 👍👍👍

I almost never write restaurant reviews, but we met a waiter there who had to be recognized publicly. Alehandro (sorry if i made mistake) was his name and he was phenomenal. He was prompt, smart, caring, and knowledgable about the food. On top of that he was super positive and funny, best service i had for very long time!

Just great. Wonderful ambience, super friendly service, great food, great cocktails. Prices are expensive yes, but it's worth it. Only thing i wouldn't recommend are the fajitas: While the guacamole and pico de gallo is super tasty the meat/onions/veggies are average at best. Anything else we have eaten was outstanding though!

Very nicely and stylishly furnished. The service was very nice, but seemed a little fake ala American style. You like it or less. The food was overpriced and was good but not great.

We were a group of 8 people and had to wait an hour for each course. Also for our coffee tour. Since the restaurant was rather sparsely occupied, this really surprised us. The starter was good, but the main course left a lot to be desired. Everything was relatively tough and very well (too well) cooked. We hoped for more, especially for the prices. Well, it was a shame.

Very friendly and attentive service staff! Big compliment! The food is of course also very tasty and the value for money is right.

If the Nachos would have been as great as the Waiter Alejandro is it would have been all good but not only do they cost CHF 28 and are therefore the most expensive Nachos in Zurich, you also get the tiniest plate BUT that is actually a good thing because they taste horrible and you literally do not want to eat them, so just no!

Went here for dinner and I can only recommend this restaurant. The food, service, price performance and ambience are all at their best. Alejandro our waitress was very accommodating, friendly and very nice 😍 We'd love to come back 💯👍🏼

You made my day Alejandro. He did this with all his heart and I really appreciate this. He was always there for us and made sure we had everything we needed. We went there with our friends for a dinner, and were first surprised by the wall art, and basically the whole interior design. Food was awsome, couple of different kitchens in one, bagel sandwich is so nice, must try. Service was amazing as well, we were served by Alejandro ( I think that was his name, he is from Sevilla), and he was really nice and tried his best to make our expirience as best as possible. Recommend!

It was a mega experience! The decoration was a pure feast for the eyes. I went into the restaurant and was warmly welcomed by the great waiter Alejandro! He advised and entertained me and my wife all evening with his charming manner. The surprise for my birthday was phenomenal! The cellars came behind me with two huge Happy Birthday posters and started singing, supported by the music! There was also a great delicious cake. Thank you Soul Street and a big thank you to Alejandro for making my birthday evening a hit. Until next year !

Great experience in a very nicely done restaurant. Our waiter alejandro was really attentive and extremely friendly. The food was great, however the prices are pretty high for example you pay 52 CHF for Fajitas

Incredible!!! The place has a very cool vibe, the waiters (especially Alejandro) offer impeccable service and the Mexican chef Orlando took us to our beloved Mexico on Independence Day (and we set the bar very high for real Mexican food) It has definitely become one of our places to return to in Zurich. The price is in line with restaurant prices in Zurich, expensive but affordable!

The food was all very delicious. I ordered ceviche, ribs, guacamole, money bags, and the service was excellent. Alejandro was super attentive and friendly.

The food is ok if a bit overpriced. There was an issue with my cocktail but it was sorted no questions asked. Service is great and attentive. At some point though the music became so loud we could hear each other even while shouting.

We visited Soul Street restaurant at The Five hotel in Zürich for a diner. It might be tricky to get there with public transport, as it is located further away from the last bus stop, but with car it is no problem. We had a really great experience and I think it's worth visiting, specially if you have a big occasion like birthday or company event. The staff was warm, welcoming and very professional. The place itself looks very fancy, but that I guess you already figured... :) The food tastes amazing, we tried different kitchens . Above the restaurant there is a club, which you can access for free of charge if you are dining there...if you feel like clubbing

Alessandro & the team were very fun - great food

I really enjoyed my experience at Soul Street. First a shout out to Alejandro, he is awesome! He helped me with figuring out what to eat, he got me my favorite drink even though it was at the other bar in the hotel, and he was super fun! The food was really delicious too. The best Bao buns i have had in a very long time. I will definitely eat here again and highly recommend it for a fun night out.

We met friends for dinner Two nights ago and were seated next to the van. The food was really good but what made the experience amazing was our super friendly waiter Alejandro. He was very pleasant, gave great recommendations and made us feel so welcomed and looked after. It Really felt like he was enjoying his job and looking after us. He was even great with the kids. Top tier service. Deserves 5 stars !

The food is excellent!!! Everything from A to Z tasted great… the staff are very attentive and accommodating. Jessica in particular served us very nicely. Of course, organizational improvements can still be made, but a new restaurant also needs some start-up time... especially now that all companies are desperately looking for staff.

Anniversary dinner in the newly opened Soul Street Zurich in the brand new Five Hotel (former Atlantis) near the Triemli. Due to the numerous negative reviews, we went in with low expectations, but we were impressed from the start. As soon as you arrive, it becomes clear that this is a lifestyle destination. The valet service takes the car from you and parks it accordingly. The design of the hotel is breathtaking and always changing. The view over Zurich below the Uetliberg is of course unique. The actual Soul Street restaurant serves fantastic food in our opinion. The concept of combining street food from four different cuisines (divided into starters and main courses) is working. We had money bags and baos for starters and then shawarma and nasi goreng for the main course. The dishes are well seasoned, high quality and extremely tasty. In addition to his good service, Alejandro also gave us a sweet surprise at the end because we had our 3-year-old. From my point of view, it was a complete success and I would like to thank the entire Soul Street team. We will be back definitely!

Drinks and service were good but food was poor. Not only from price/value perspective but also from quality point of view.

The ambience and setting of the restaurant were quite nice. Especially the outside area during summer is quite beautiful. The service was more or less fine (taking into account they have just opened and some things are expected to not run fully smoothly) and the food was rather ok but definitely too expensive for what it was even for Zurich standards. Overall it was neither disappointing nor super exciting. I would probably give it another try a few months down the line.
