Spice Bistro in Neuhausen am Rheinfall

I recommend the masala chai. It was refreshing to have something that reminded of our homely comforts back in India. The wok tossed noodles were great and I appreciated how we were asked how spicy we wanted it . The attendant was very polite and professional. Do recommend this place at Rheinfall for anybody who has a palate for Indian cuisine ❤️

The most disgusting food I have ever tasted in my life. Terrible hygiene, and the price extraordinarily expensive. We ordered three chicken noodles and a disastrous experience.

Food is delicious 😋 Samosa cover is a bit on thicker side but the stuffing is delicious. First I had indian Chinese in Europe and its mind blowing (Wok noodles) Atmosphere is awesome as one has spicy Indian food sitting and enjoying the breath taking view of Rheinfall. I have to say the warm, talkative skills of the person at the cashier is great. Dont forget he is from आमची मुंबई (लालबाग)...

The noodles are very delicious Fresh fries Water is the same price as a soft drink Prices are high like other restaurants in Switzerland Very fast service But the food is served uncovered and without a large plate (you hold your paper plates in your hands). Spice Bistro Rhine falls is one of the best places to try out samosas and masala chai with the beautiful sight of the falls. The samosas were out of the world along with the chai. The person at the counter was really polite and very helpful in serving our order. Recommended place for anyone visiting Rhine falls.

This place is hard to miss as it stands right in front of the falls and the aroma of Indian spices just invite you. We tried their veg noodles and samosas. The samosas tasted good. They provide tamarind chutney with it, which enhances the taste. You can ask them to make the noodles as spicy as you want it to be. The portion size is also huge, so it's worth the money.

Can get 100% Halal & Vegan Food when you visit Rheinfall India themed food, so you will expect full of spices. Also, they're delicious and flavorful. Totally need to try Chai Masala. 🦏

This is one place which you can not miss if you are visiting Rhine Falls. Absolutely delicious food and, most importantly, the best guy running the restaurant. He has such good knowledge of how to treat each customer well. He would engage with you in your own way. Certainly gem of a guy. Must try their Pao Bhaji and Masala Chai.

An ideal location in front of the Rhine Falls. The welcome is warm and very courteous. We enjoyed a Mine Frit and a Fish and Chips, the quality/price ratio is there. I easily recommend Spice Bistro.

Samosa was big but Zero spice it was like bland. They should bit add some or little Indian spices to look least authentic if not true taste. Samosa is value for money if you talk about size

Good food. The massala is good also. If you take fish and chips. 1 for 2 is sufficient. So also economic to eat there.

Very big samosas. I think 1 piece of cute stuff will make you quite full. The samosas are sold as 2 pieces, you can't just get 1. I also bought a hot drink but forgot the name. If you drink it, it tastes like Tarik tea but it has ginger in it. Makes the body warm especially in autumn when the wind is getting colder.

The tastiest veg Samosa, chana masala, Indian tea and fish. Excellent food.

Just had Samosas, Veg Noodles and Masala Chai here on a short outing to Rhine Falls. If you are an Indian who misses getting some hot maggi and tea/coffee while enjoying nature (commonly available in Indian vacation spots), this is the closest you would come to that in Switzerland, especially with Indian food. Food was pretty good (loved the noodles), what made it awesome was its location. Just get some food from here, walk 20 meters and sit and enjoy the roaring falls while enjoying some Indian snacks!! Nothing beats the experience!

Generous portions of tasty indian food for a reasonable price (for Switzerland) with a wonderful view of the Rheinfalls. Also very friendly!

Food generally tastes pretty okay, but paying 20 francs for a little bit of chicken with a bit of rice where it was warmed up in a microwave? I think it's a shame. Paying a lot of money to eat food from a microwave.

Excellent Indian takeaway with moderate prices.

The manager treated so rudely, to an extent of abuse. Never expected such a response in Switzerland. His staff was respectful and tried to to stop him but his behaviour was highly unprofessional and unbecoming.

Had noodles and tea here. I would say i was not expecting good taste, but i really was surprised after eating the food :)

Excellent food. Interesting and excellent flavors and spices. The samboback and the fish are highly recommended. Excellent accompanying food for the waterfall experiences.

I visited this place on 14th August 2021. The vada paav is no longer available but you can still get the samosas and the masala chai here along with the other items. The people working at this place were very nice, welcoming & polite. The mango lassi here is a must have. Also the noodles are very tasty.

Excellent cuisine! Good chips, excellent fish and chips too! The vegan samosas are also good. But I absolutely loved the Marsala chicken rice. If you like spicy and strong flavours, I recommend you get the rice with chicken! After all, the place is wonderful because there are waterfalls 🥰🇨🇭

The best fish & chips I've ever eaten. I think turmeric and thyme give it this great taste. And I think 15 Fr. is okay.

Over priced, unfriendly, poor presentation and no style!! Disappointing!! ...... 4.50 for a tea 9.-Sfr for French fries. I really thought I am in the wrong movie..

If you ever wanted to enjoy vada paav & chai while looking out at the lovely sight of Rhine Falls then Spice Bistro makes your dream come true. Their vada paav is the tastiest one i have eaten in Europe with authentic Indian taste. Their portions are generous. The staff is pleasant to talk to & will share interesting snippets for those who are in for a conversation. I look forward to visiting them again.

Ordered for a few people totalling 23 euros. When we asked for a slight modification (no sugar in a tea) they didn’t say anything, took the money and continued to serve it without the modification (it’s premade). We would have like them to at least say that it’s premade before taking the money. We also asked for extra cup and they refused. They don’t really care about customer service as it’s a tourist area and it’s a one time transaction.

After visiting the whole of Rheinfall tour we where walking out with my wife,my friend and his three kids,we went to the Spice Bistro, from the time we are ordering food he is very arrogant to us, finally we paid Euro 53.50 while eating kids wants little more Ketchup sauce, when we ask for some sauce he is shouting at us like a mad dog,I ask visiting peoples not to go there, because at a glanced you see only that , but if you guys walk little further you will see lots more places to eat & drink. Rude, thank less manager/cashier who really doesn't want to be doing this job. Indians buying food there are treated as if he's doing massive favour by selling samosa at 9 francs, 1/2 cup Chai for 4 francs, pav bhaji at 12 francs. We found nice restaurant just where the boats leave with very friendly staff, reasonable price, and fresh hot/cold food.

This is more of a food stand than a restaurant. The Indian food is reasonably good, but obviously can't be compared to eating at an Indian restaurant. In my experience, Switzerland has been attracting large numbers of Indian tourists; large numbers were also at Rheinfall. I think this is the main reason Spice Bistro is located here. In fact, most of the people I saw eating here were Indians.

They cost us 11 euros for two bottles of water and a soft drink. Be careful with the prices.

Is it kebab, is it Indian? One does not know. The taste is bland and too dry. Choice of sauces that don't go well with the actual Indian dishes at all. Not recommended apart from the view.

A lively and vibrant atmosphere, this place is popular among the Indian crowd. Its like 'Mini India' in Switzerland. Masala chai, Vada pav and samosas are a delight for the palate.

They don't accept cards . Purely Indian only cash .... As person don't know to operate the card machine ..... Are they really in Europe .... ?????
