Nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, good service and a beautiful view. Although typically not cheap for a tourist area, the food is very tasty and the portions are large enough. The mixed salad was great, the Bolognese was surprisingly good and had a lot of meat in it. The pinsa was also great, finally with real oregano on it. There is also a children's menu and child seats. The children are even given pen and paper. Or to put it another way: a great visit for the whole family. Thank you very much and see you next time! Greetings from the Basel region.

The food came out too late. Even though it was booked It might be because there were a lot of them. and order a menu that you don't like The taste was still not good, maybe because I tasted something more delicious. Beautiful view, good atmosphere, suitable for sitting and chilling.

02.11.24 "Patience is a virtue" has never been more true. We read many of the reviews before deciding to try it, even after seeing many negative reviews. We went in expecting to need patience for service and very speculative of food quality. After knowing that, we had the best 2 hr dining experience we have had in years! This is not stop and go dining. We had wonderful recommendations from our absolutely perfect server Chantal!! We had great drinks, perfect pizza, the best Beef & Pork Steaks, and three different Divine desserts. Our meal was expensive, at no surprise, the menu is very clear. Conclusion: Visit if you want an extended, expensive, excellent experience! Do not visit if you are on a budget, in a rush and do not care for personalization. MUST TRY!!!! BEST VIEW!!

The New Year's Eve menu couldn't be beaten in terms of badness. Absolutely underground, I'm at a loss for words!

A nice restaurant at the Rhine falls. The food was good but the service was slightly slow. The overall atmosphere was really nice at this place.

We went to Restaurant Park today to have a drink. When the order was taken after a while and the drink was served, we first enjoyed the cold beer. Until I noticed the expiration date on the beer bottle. 4/2023, today is October 21st, 2023 When we pointed this out to the waitress, she just shrugged her shoulder. We had to pay the whole price. A drink that is 6 months old is not acceptable in a restaurant. We are not tourists who only come once and then travel on. But we won't be visiting this restaurant again anytime soon.

This restaurant is nothing more than a tourist trap. The quality of the food is below ground but the prices are above ground. The fillet on a hot stone arrived already cooked through. The fries were cold and unseasoned and the vegetables arrived late and cold. The second dish of pasta was somewhat edible, but certainly not worth the price of 27 euros. Finally about the service, inattentive and not exactly polite. Parmesan and a spoon with the meal were only delivered after repeated requests, other requests were simply ignored. Embarrassing above all when you overhear an employee loudly gossiping about the boss with customers at the next table. All in all, CHF 96 for 2 people in this restaurant is extortionate.

The fish fillet was very small, the chicken nuggets were very small, and the bolognese noodles were ordinary. Forget it, the service was terrible. I sat there waiting for half an hour and no one came to order. The waiter obviously saw me raising my hand to order. I deliberately turned a blind eye and then came to put the tableware and still used the lost ones. It is definitely the worst restaurant in Switzerland.

Nice restaurant right at the Rhine Falls with a great view. Unfortunately, prices are made for tourists, which unfortunately leads to three stars despite the delicious food. The entrecote on a hot stone was delicious, unfortunately 200 grams is very little for the price. Fries were also very tasty. Pinsa tasted very good, but the dough was a little too thick, so it wasn't 100% cooked. Unfortunately they told us that they will close at 8 p.m. The outside area is very inviting and everything is very clean. Absolutely ok for a typical tourist restaurant.

Nice location but horrible and very slow service, I’m usually not commenting on these kind of things but they were very rude and they were ignoring us, specially the Indian guy in the cashier, was very unprofessional. In the end we just stood up and left to the other restaurant close by because they were not even coming to take order.

Verry expensive for the quality. We had a beef șnițel, came a bit dry, there were missing a sos, the fries were low quality. Expected a bit more from Swiss quality.

Schnitzel was very good The fries were very well seasoned, unfortunately not hot. The trout was a little burnt but ok. Ambiance is great. Staff have to work on themselves. I would say lazy too much. It would be nice if the staff were friendly. There was nothing going on. 10 tables. On the whole I would come again. OK for lunch. I wouldn't come in the evening. Price performance ok but at the limit for the quality.

Server was really unpleasant and unfriendly. Seemed to be in a bad mood, was rude and dismissive, and didn't seem to care about our experience at all.

Even though it wasn't very busy, we waited in vain for the order to be taken. It took us too long (16 minutes) and we left again. When we were here over a year ago, it was busier and things moved faster. A pity.......

Actually great. Except at 9:30 p.m. the lights were simply turned off. They could have simply informed us that the restaurant was closing.

Surprisingly good food for reasonable prices for such a touristy location. We sat on the terrace and had an amazing view to the falls. Servers were nice but food took a long time to arrive, which was annoying as we were with small kids - this is why I'm rating 4 stars and not 5. Would come back again though next time in the falls.

Terrible experience today!! Food was good but attitude of staff and manager was so bad that we will make sure to put complaint to Swiss tourism. We visited RhineFalls and this restaurant for lunch today, April 12th from US. We sat outside, and it started raining. Since waiters got busy handling, we moved our Pizza and Pasta dishes ourselves inside. Pasta got rain water but pizza was okay. So we asked waiter to replace it. He took it to manager. Managers attitude was like ‘why we reacted late’. ‘ it has just little rain water’. ‘You can see how busy staff is’.. I mean never saw this attitude from any restaurant in US and to tourist.. disputing my credit charges and putting complaint to Swiss tourism soon. Be there to enjoy good food - Chef must be good.. but attitude is bit dependent on staff’s mood.

An employee who felt like a boss or leader was very disrespectful and cheeky. I told him can they bring another ashtray and he tells me to say please in a cheeky tone, comes to the table twice to provoke me to do something or hit him, which he suspected, says eat and leave I don't want her Seeing more there traumatized my children with this tone, not a restaurant to recommend, very disrespectful and aggressive. only bad!!!!

I know that the Rhine Falls are very touristy, but please... it's really dingy in the bistro downstairs! There are leftovers of food under every chair and table, and nowhere is it clean, no matter where you look. Nothing simply has heart and soul No one wants to hear Latino reggeaton at the Rhine Falls when they're eating a sausage + the music was so loud that you had to scream at each other while talking, terrible! That has very little to do with Swiss natural wonders. You wait 20 minutes for the sausages and you pay 25chf for 2 sausages + 2 drinks, which is an absolute rip-off considering the quality. All in one a R(h) idea.

This review refers to the “Park Snack Grill to Go” that is located below the restaurant. We found the service to be extremely rude, especially since they kept our group’s order to the back of the line. In all we waited 25 minutes for our 7 sausages! When we enquired about the delay, they cursed us thinking I didn’t understand German! Did not want to waste time to argue with people with such an attitude.

Besides the spectacular view that the place offers i can't say to many things about the place! The service personnel it's not very motivated, the food is way to expensive for what you get, i understand you also pay for the view but still doesn't justify it! I would gladly recommend just enjoy a drink or 2 on the terrace and find food somewhere else!

I stopped by because I wanted to eat while looking at the Rhine Falls. Good service, good food The roasted veal felt like a pork cutlet, but it was soft and delicious. The French fries that came with it were a delicacy. You can choose any type of pasta, but I ordered bolognese with rigatoni noodles, and the sauce was clean and delicious. Above all, the scenery is so nice.

Except for one gentleman, the service staff was very friendly. children. Food was tasty, price was okay for the place.

Rest. Park with a beautiful view of the Rhine Falls. The food (fish crispy with salad, salmon fillets with rice and vegetables) was delicious and beautifully served. Unfortunately, the reservation didn't work out when we arrived. I reserved online 4 weeks in advance. After intervention, we finally got the table we wanted on the terrace.

French fries restaurant Roast calf and Alio Olio, And I ordered 2 glasses of red wine, Pinot Noir. Alio Olio The taste is too bland for Koreans. It is tasteless and you can barely even smell the garlic. The roasted veal was delicious. I also added white wine. Not bad. It's ironic that the fries that come with meat are the most delicious. May 30, 2023 around 1 p.m. At first, even though I was seen and there wasn't much going on (the front terrace was moderately full, the inside and side terraces were empty), I had to wait more than 30 minutes until I was served. But then I was only served because I flagged down a waiter straight away. (I told the waiter this fact, but there was no apology) The apple spritzer tasted artificial, the pinsa was ok but not really that special... Attention from the waiters was almost zero (except when it came to paying) when my apple spritzer was empty they didn't ask me if I wanted anything else... Unfortunately, location and a good view aren't everything... how about friendly and attentive waiters and better cuisine?

We were in this park restaurant at the Rhine Falls yesterday on May 29, 23 in the evening around 6:30 p.m. But we are not tourists but people from Schaffhausen who wanted to enjoy the Rhine Falls again. Food was good. Service was friendly. Unfortunately we were served the appetizer and the main course at the same time. But OK. We didn't have to wait too long. 😁 Espresso and dessert were very nice. Service is friendly, but there is no technical affinity for card payments. Food (Pinsa) extremely tasty & good, even if it took patience (waited a little more than an hour) until they were at the table. Prices (for food) around CHF 6.00 to CHF 8.00 more than usual - probably because of the view, as the furnishings, table settings and service hardly deserve this!

Calm, pleasant atmosphere and pretty view on the site. We ordered a starter and 2 small pasta dishes, with 2 wine and a carafe of water (from the tap). We received the drinks quickly but waited 30 minutes for the starter and the same for the main course, while the 3 waiters only had 5 tables to serve. Fortunately, the beautiful view of the falls helps pass the time a little... The cuisine is very good, nothing to say, but the service needs a serious boost/additional training: speed, friendliness, empathy, motivation and above all transparency towards the customer; after asking for the bill, we ended up with 1x small dish, 1x large dish and 1 bottle of 50cl non-carbonated water at 5chf. We asked for tap water and the waiter told us that the establishment only sold water from the Valser bottle, which we had never seen. You have to tell the customer so that the customer knows who is consuming it because here, I really have doubts that you are charging tap water. For the large dish, having eaten the whole thing, we said nothing but it was not correctly transcribed by the server. Points to remember: - very good food - slow and not very friendly service - pay attention to the addition - "carafe" water potentially payable, not notified by the server.

We were there today (Friday May 19) for lunch with family. The restaurant offers a direct view of the Rhine Falls. It’s a splendid view with the possibility of being on the terrace if there is space. Card and menu with a wide choice: salad, pasta, pizza, meat… with a fair price that is not excessive. The food is good “nothing more”. But for a tourist spot, it was pretty good! Unfortunately the service was catastrophic. Although smiling, the service is very bad. So yes, it was a busy day but you should still expect it… Waiting more than 30 minutes for drinks and meals. Alerted waitress who - apologizes - because the kitchen forgot our dishes…. There were 5 of us, table service for 4, you have to ask for everything yourself: cutlery, napkin, salt shaker… We weren't the only ones complaining today. With such deplorable service, you could make a dent in the bill! Unfortunately, I do not recommend it.

We were received very unfriendly. Waited a long time for the menu even though only three tables were occupied. I ordered a good piece of meat on the hot stone. The waiter asked me whether I would have preferred to serve it on a plate, but I wanted the stone. When the meat was served, this question became clear to me. Instead of raw, the meat came ready-fried on the hot stone, you had to Put it on the plate immediately otherwise it would have become a sole. The many negative reviews tell me that you should avoid this restaurant

We enjoyed our high tea during our visit to Rhine Falls. We were in a group of 30, and the staff were very friendly and kind enough to accommodate us. Pastries and the latte are highly recommended, slightly pricey albeit, but it is worth it with the spectacular backdrop of Rhine Falls!

Ordered coffee, paid, not served after various requests that were not considered at all.... A carafe of still water at the modest price of 10 euros.... We will definitely not return..... Sluggish staff. They obviously didn’t want to serve outside when it was a little cool, but when other tables on the street joined us, they deigned to come out and offer a menu. The careless service is compensated by the gorgeous view from the terrace and the taste of the dishes. The pizza was very tasty, as was the salad.

Restaurant with a nice view. We ordered just desserts, and had to wait over 50 minutes to get them, while the place was not even full. The waiters had no idea what‘s going on.

The service wasn’t great. We were made to wait at the entrance and when i inquired after a good while when we’d be seated they told us they weren’t seating anyone for at least a half hour even though tables were available. We ended up coming back because my son wanted the Nutella pizza. The food was okay but again they forgot items we ordered but then tried to charge for them nonetheless. Good view but that’s about it. Location is king here. No need to do well.

Even if the food is generally good (certain dishes even exceptionally good), a maximum of 1 star can be given. The service is miserable. In a group of 6, the wrong beer came first, then two wrong starters and finally the main course was completely forgotten. The staff is unqualified and overwhelmed, the service concept is non-existent and for me the worst point: those in charge of the restaurant actively look the other way when mistakes happen. Not a good place for employees and guests.

The place itself was very nice, but the staff was even worse. We had to wait over an hour for our food, but it wasn't worth it at all. I ordered pasta with porcini mushrooms and the pasta tasted like yesterday. The porcini mushrooms were not cooked well at all. So generally not recommended.

We sat down there at 1:30 p.m., 3 adults and a baby. The waiter came relatively quickly to take the order but the drinks didn't arrive until 2 p.m. We waited there until 2:44 p.m. for 2 pinsas and a pasta. When we left the restaurant, the waiter came with our food - unfortunately too late. We weren't the only ones. To be avoided if you see that more than a few tables are occupied, the kitchen can't handle that.

I ordered the margharita pinsa, when we start eating I found a human hair in that. I thought may be it came from outside and I removed that and start continue eating. When eating next slice, i found another hair from the same food. Again we ignore and start eating. When I start eating again we found another hair from the same food.9 When we are escalade this issue to the hotel management, they are not bothering us and they treating us very rude way to us as a tourist. And waiter took this hairy pizza to the chef, then he said its not hair its a black cheese.. I never seen black color cheese in life. Again we start having next slice of pizza again we found another hair.. its a hairy pizza.. we paid for the hairy pizza as well. They offer me other pizza, I said I don't want to eat another hairy pizza and sick in the rest room. If i or anyone else having this food and got sick, who is the responsible for the consequences. ?

They are very important to the personal. The maids are only allowed to work in the garbage area! the waitresses with blonde hair have no manners. a very bad and miserable place. Remove Roman Pinsa from the menu. You all insult Italy! In Italy we have respect and above all HYGIENE. you blonde waitress learns that forks are placed on paper napkins! I've never experienced anything like this before. Absolute impudence to charge such prices for this. Terribly long waiting times even though there was hardly anything going on. Food had zero taste. Dirty dishes and inflexible in all respects. The entire workforce is completely overwhelmed and has no idea about this line of work. Others have also complained loudly. Entire groups were sent away even though everything was empty.

Very nice atmosphere with a wonderful view of the Rhine Falls. The service was pleasant, attentive and open to criticism. Unfortunately the food wasn't that satisfying. The starter tasted excellent. The hot stone (trio) was unfortunately disappointing, the meat was served partially cooked through. We were here as a group (14 people), my companion was not 100% satisfied with other menus either. A waiting time of over 1 hour is also long. Nevertheless, I am not opposed to visiting this restaurant again or trying other dishes.

We enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant very much. The staff was very pleasant (red hair waitress), food was really good (especially the fish with the almond butter) and they have a local beer (Falken) on tap. Plus the view of the waterfall was beautiful.

Beautiful restaurant with a great view of the Rhine Falls, friendly service and fine food (also children's salad, spaghetti, chicken nuggets & fries and Pinsa for children). Additional cover for the little one and water for the older one were free. Unfortunately there is only a changing table in the women's toilet, but at least. Nowadays there should also be a changing table in the men's toilet or in a neutral place. The menu says that you get a free exit ticket per table. When we asked, we were told that they no longer offer this but would credit us with 2 hours. But we still had to pay the full amount at the parking meter. A pity! Otherwise we were very satisfied.

The view is amazing but the drinks (apple spritzer, cola, Fanta, etc.) are not carbonated and you should change that because you get the feeling that they are being poured into bottles that were opened two days ago!

Wasn't exactly a hit... the view was great, but not so much the staff. I wanted to order a normal portion of fries and was yelled at that I'm definitely not 12 anymore and let's not talk about the ice cream menu. Prices are also totally overpriced.

Used this as a pit stop for a coffee break on our evening stroll. So can only comment on the great cup of coffee, friendly staff and awesome view. Great place to chill after a busy day at work. Easy to get to with public transport (bus or train).

We were a family of seven, showed up for lunch and were told we could not be served without a reservation. It was 12.30 lunch, place was less than half full. Very weird experience of Swiss hospitality.
