Very spicy Som Tam (green papaya salad) almost like in Thailand. Unfortunately, the sauce wasn't as fine as there. Also a little bit of food for 15.- at least some rice would have been good. You can eat inside, but it's far too hot in summer.

Unfortunately they run out quickly on the vegetarian options, which I can of course understand given the taste of the food Spoon Thai Bistro sells. We think they make the best curry in Switzerland - haven't tasted a better one anywhere else, that's for sure! Keep it up! btw, there's usually a line-up around 12ish. Avoid the crowd by going real early or around 12:45.

Are the other reviewers talking about the same take away? Ordered the yellow curry with tofu today because it was the only vegetarian dish. In my meal there were 3 (!) pieces of tofu, 2 pieces of carrots, 2 pieces of small cauliflower and a lot of rice. The curry tasted like in any Asian take away and not like in Thailand. Where are the herbs and where is the finesse of Thai cuisine? After 3 months in Thailand a clear disappointment. Maybe the menus taste better with meat. My vegetarian food was definitely bland and bland. The price of 15 francs is almost cheeky. Last but not least, you don't put up a board outside where papaya salad is offered and then tell the customer that it is only available to order! That's no comparison to Thailand either. Unfortunately there is only 1 star for my menu and in general.
