Spontaneous and for the first time in the Stadttörli. The Mojito and Aperol drinks were very well mixed and the service staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our dogs were there and were served with a water bowl and goodies - thank you for that! It wasn't the last time we were in the Stadttörli...

So on February 3rd, 2022 the service was absolutely unfriendly and incompetent. We waited forever for food because the first round was burnt. The second round of nachos was cold! We then ordered mojitos and asked after 22 minutes. We were told she would bring them straight away. 20 minutes later we paid. Without getting any mojitos. Absolutely unacceptable. We are regular customers but you will lose us this way. A pity.

Today I learned how not to leave a good impression as a host. I have never experienced such inappropriate and unfriendly service in any restaurant. It is clear to me that after three visits (the first, the only and the last) I will no longer be a guest there (I never felt like I was). The business owner should think about this staff.

Based on the owner's response, the restaurant is not in a position to accept criticism constructively, and I'm not the first to complain about long waiting times. Service didn't come for a long time, no drinks menu at the table. After the card was brought, nothing happened for a long time. She didn't look at anyone, was extremely unfriendly, cheeky and snippy and the prices were unbelievable: 10.50 CHF for an Aperol Spritz in Mellingen on the main street - that's almost the price at St. Mark's Square in Venice! Just ridiculous. The food is train station pub level. Not recommendable.
