Best lasagne in the world!!! Unfortunately the portion is far too small. If you still eat the lasagne every year, you still need fries or a second lasagne.

Simple, warm, good, cozy - somehow quintessentially Swiss, like Jänks, the Iceman himself - sums it up - whether in the wood-panelled restaurant or on the sun terrace - everything fits together harmoniously here!

Went to this lovely restaurant last week with 4 adults and 3 children. The service was very friendly, the service was very quick and the food was very tasty! In addition to these positive things, it is also an honor to see Carlo Janka's many awards. The family's pride is visible and impressively presented! Keep it up, it was really nice with you!

Twelve of us went to fondue dinner. Fondue was very fine and creamy, the service was very friendly, courteous and uncomplicated. We felt very well looked after and would love to come back.

Had the “world champion plate” on site and chicken wings for takeaway. Both times the fries were soggy and unfortunately I didn't feel the slightest bit of world-class quality. The restaurant is very old-fashioned and furnished without love. Typical run-of-the-mill mountain railway operation which swims in the flood of visitors and run-of-the-mill menu (bulky, hearty and greasy). Waiting for the service on site was a long, awkward greeting and a very loud, unpleasant, oppressive atmosphere inside.

The food is very good 👍 and the staff. Mostly friendly and reliable. I always enjoy coming back to eat once in a while. Thanks

The “Flügali” were a real treat. The restaurant is really an eye-catcher and the terrace is also really nice. The staff is very friendly and you feel very welcome. Only recommended!

The stay at the Stai restaurant was wonderful. We were able to spend a wonderful afternoon on the beautiful sun terrace and were served excellently. Our concern that the cool wind was not very pleasant was responded to immediately and we were provided with blankets. Excellent ! Keep it up !

Wir waren mit 9 Personen zum Mittagessen in diesem Restaurant. Wir kamen ohne Voranmeldung und spontan wurden zwei Tische zusammengeschoben. Die Speisen waren alle gut und preislich total OK. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl von einfachen Gerichten wie Poulet Flügeli, Pommes, Salate etc.

Very cozy, rustic restaurant! Food very good. Reservation during the winter season is recommended.

Oh well. Food was all finished products. The salad dressing was bought. The Alplermakaroni were cement tubes and not Lindt. The sausage salad was also just Cervalat with ready-made sauce and 4 pieces of spice. There was no wheelchair toilet or disabled access.

Sie möchten das hausgemachte Stil Speisen? Dann ist dies der richtige Ort! Ich empfehle den Chicken Wings. . . Sie sind ausgezeichnet! Das Hotel ist komfortabel, der Service ist unglaublich!

Wer in Obersaxen weilt, muss einfach im Stai vorbei!! Die besten Pouletflügeli weit und breit. Der Klassiker. Auch die anderen Gerichte sind sehr gut. Ob der Älplertoast, das Käsefondue oder ein feines Plättli, dazu ein Glas Weltweisterwein. Mit ein bisschen Glück trifft man vielleicht Carlo Janka. Seine Pokale jedenfalls sicher bestaunen. Wo sonst sieht man schon eine echte Kristallkugel

Das Essen war ganz einfache Schweizer Küche. Welche die Qualität stimmt und eine grosse Menge gab. Wir machten einen Spaziergang mitten durch die weisse Pracht aus Meierhof. Ca. 30 min. hinaufzulaufen. Werde nochmals dorthin gehen. 😊

Pouletflügeli mit Salat oder Pommes ist sehr lecker. Dazu etwas Weisswein vom Weltmeister. Die Bedienung ist immer gut und zuvorkommend!

Wir waren wieder im Restaurant Stai zum Nachtessen und können dieses Restaurant bestens weiterempfehlen. Das Personal war wie immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die knusprigen "Flügeli" sind sehr lecker und ein Geheimtipp. Wir kommen wieder. Monika&Daniel

Das Stai ist seit vielen Jahrzehnten schon da und eignet sich genial zum Häppchen...z.B. Hähnchen im Körbchen. Wir gehen öfters dahin um kurz etwas zu essen und die Atomsphäre zu geniessen. Auch zu sehen einige Trophäen von Carlo Janka dem lokalen Skistar...obwohl mir das weniger imponiert,....aber für Andere vielleicht von Interesse. Fazit:Location - urchigService - sehr nettEssen - für den kleinen Hunger toll / es kommt auch zackigGenerell - empfehlenswerthat diese Bewertung geholfen? Falls ja bitte unten clicken
