Stalla - Alp Nagens in Laax

Why is it so hard to split the bill for a group of people? The rest of the experience is great, really liked the food and atmosphere!

A hut of stature. The fondue is extremely delicious and rich. I recommend cornichons or silver onions (they are a game changer). Service on point and friendly. Feel-good atmosphere with fireplace. GG

It's too popular for its own good (on Saturdays, at least), so one has to wait till some of the staff takes pity to offer a place, and then the place offered is a tight spot at the shared table between people with too hyperactive kids and another couple. It would've been doable, but by no means enjoyable. Snack area is just sausages (even though menu says otherwise) - it's OK, but it's not nice. Views are great though.

Very cool restaurant, you can still order without a QR code, the staff is very friendly, the view is great and the food is very tasty! Highly recommended!

Great fondue, however, the portions are big and one fondue is more than enough to share for two people.

the staff are very nice, and the food is good and it arrives fast. They have a vegan option which is nice. also, they have a salad bar. the place has very big dense dining areas which give an industrial atmosphere, there is no intimacy. although the view outside is very beautiful.

I waited half an hour for “Nüslisalat” and got lamb’s lettuce with 5 tomatoes. Also very poor selection of vegan dishes.

Beautiful alp, for me one of the most beautiful in the ski area. Something like a little hut magic comes along. Other catering establishments tend to be made of a lot of steel and concrete.

Unfortunately it was all already occupied and we couldn't eat inside. It was snowing outside but it was still wonderful to eat a fondue while it was snowing❄️🌨️🌨️

Great food both inside and outside with a great view. It's also great that there are lots of regional ingredients.

Nice terrace, very friendly staff. Eating more meat-heavy. But you can also order without meat. Great dessert.

Great restaurant in a converted stable. Great raclette, good fondue and other delicious dishes. Locally busy in winter and therefore a bit cramped. In addition, not all the dishes ordered are often served together, which is probably due to the rustic infrastructure.

Far too long waiting times. Staff completely overwhelmed.

Service below every level. Food didn't come at the same time, my raclette came 15 minutes before the rest. Reaction to my complaint: “That’s just how it is when the kitchen has a lot to do.” At the same time, so many people are seated at one table that you feel like a chicken on a perch. 0 customer friendly.

Today the service was unfortunately catastrophic: forever waiting, getting the wrong food, completely overwhelmed staff. The same thing at two neighboring tables. “First day” is no excuse for something like this: staff must be trained accordingly.

Wonderful authentic place with amazing views and very attentive service right by the bus stop.

A really nice place and directly accessible by the (very expensive) bus. The service was also very friendly. My wife's capun soup was really tasty. But I was a little disappointed with my Älplermagronen: bland and dry. I would still come back (and eat something different).

A wonderful experience for food and drinks. The host puts emphasis on high quality of food, e.g. it does not serve french fries but a great variety of great local food. Inside the Stalla you have a log fire and a very cosy atmosphere.

Best manager and great atmosphere

Food was fine (we were in the self-service area), selection was rather small, especially for vegetarian eaters. The restaurant is also rather unsuitable for something small sweet/salty. Organization was a bit chaotic at times (of course, it was peak season...). Unfortunately this year it wasn't enough to eat on the terrace in the full-service restaurant, but the menu was very tasty.

Came to this restaurant twice during my time in Laax, Flims, Falera and I must say this is one of the best restaurants on the Alps. I highly recommend the cheese dumplings with fried onions and also enjoy a Baileys Hot Chocolate with whip cream. The soup is also really good, wrapped in char leaves. You can't get this in most places. Not sure if it's because it's a Romansch dish? Their cheese and dairy comes from their 90 cows. Doesn't get any better than this. I also got a truffle fondue for one but ended up sharing it with 2 more people cause it was too much.

The staff at the self-service was very friendly, but relatively sloppy in the restaurant, so I preferred to wait in line for 10 minutes+ in the self-service. Kitchen closes at 3 p.m. and bar shortly before 4 p.m. A no-go for a restaurant on the valley run. So we went to the village hungry.

Self service for drinks. Did not eat there. Atmosphere very good, music slightly outdated but then one is in the Alps and not Ibiza. So no complaints. House coffee with Schnapps delicious.

This is a really great location. We took the cable car up in the evening and were then picked up by the snowcat. He then took us up to the restaurant, which is usually a piste restaurant on the ski slope. First there was an aperitif outside in the fresh air. Afterwards we enjoyed a very good cheese fondue inside. It was a really great evening. Many thanks to everyone who contributed here.

Lunch break on a sunny ski day 🙂 We were in the self-service area. There are more or less the usual dishes for such ski restaurants (sausages, soups, salad, sweets, drinks). The food was delicious and the staff tried to have all the dishes ready at the same time, which we really appreciated (you don't have to choose between waiting until everyone has their food or eating cold soup)! Considering there weren't that many people, the waiting time was a bit long. The loud music is definitely a matter of taste, but I liked it 🙂

Real juice shop!!! We just wanted to have lunch but the mistress treated us incredibly unfriendly and disrespectfully. My recommendation is to go to the Berhaus Nagens one stop further up. It's much cheaper and better!

Slopeside restaurant with great atmosphere and nice staff. Have a drink while soaking in some rays. Then, head inside for a terrific swiss meal. Cheese, cheese, cheese. Raclette from an open fire. Reservations are recommended, especially for large groups.

Impossible and unfriendly treatment of guests. Despite a reservation, we waited over 20 minutes outside. Guests were repeatedly allowed in... when we asked whether we could sit down, the supposed boss rudely told us that they wanted friendly guests here and that they would prefer us to leave the restaurant!

I had dinner at the Stalla - Alp Nagens restaurant and it was a fantastic experience. Stalla is a great place to enjoy peace and quiet and the beauty of nature. The menu has both local Swiss food and international dishes, with the wine from Graubünden being a highlight. The service is fast and friendly, you'll never wait for more than five minutes for your table.

Unfortunately closed Monday / Tuesday.

Great food, great staff, very well maintained and lovingly designed. A brilliant view, it was easy to see the interesting work of the alpine farmers next door. All in all a wonderful place. Thanks for the great experience

Today we went to Stalla Alp Nagens for breakfast brunch with our three children. A clear recommendation: great location, very friendly crew / family-friendly, great buffet with delicious Swiss specialties. The products made in-house are worth highlighting: cheese, milk, yoghurt and sausage. Repeat planned 👌

Friendly and nice service, simple good food.

We had a fantastic brunch at Restaurant Stalla. The dishes were prepared with love and care and were exclusively of regional origin or homemade. We also received incredibly friendly service and the impressive mountain panorama makes you forget everyday life. After the extensive brunch, we took the hike Alp Nagens - Naraus - Foppa - Flims. We can recommend this brunch-hike combination to all connoisseurs.

A very successful concept. It's all true! Very good regional cuisine, authentic hosts, great ambience and spending the night in a tent (glamping) was a real experience.

Brilliant. The best cheese pizzas in years, everything looks delicious, a culinary masterpiece. The staff is friendly and attentive, the view of the mountains is great.

Incompetent staff in the outside area who have no idea about grilling caused a waiting time of almost 1 hour for sausage and soup. It's a shame, great place and actually the best conditions for a wonderful visit

Food was good but wait times were extremely long. We waited one hour for drinks and then another hour for food. Came at 13:00 and left close to 15:30 :( - not what we expexted (service personel said around 20min wait time).Would definitely visit again when it's not full.

Stalla is a superb alpine resto cooking raclette the traditional way in front of a huge log fire. Both that and the fondue are superb. Can be busy, book ahead!

Two of us ordered the cheese pizzas and they gave us the portions in a pan and two plates. I could have eaten the portion they gave us for two by myself because it was so small. We paid 50 francs for a portion that one person could have eaten. At other tables, where only someone ordered the Käsipizokel, the single portion was almost as big as ours, even though we ordered exactly the same thing. The service wasn't very friendly and the food took far too long for what we ordered. Others who came after us were seated at our table and had already finished eating when we received our food. I think we weren't taken that seriously since we were just four teenagers. But the hut was nicely furnished.
