Ordered a Banana Bread that was so dry, it could not been eaten. Also, the coffee does not taste very good and it was served incredibly hot.

Waiting in line for 1 hour because there are too few employees. Just wanted to buy a cake to take away, never go to that Starbucks again!!

Today, shortly before closing, I had my favorite drink at Starbucks Thalwil and what struck me was that the lady and the gentleman were so friendly to both of them. Such a beaming face is rare when a guest has ordered before closing time. Thank you very much for the nice service 🙏 I would love to come back 😎

This is conveniently located, pretty close to the Thalwil railway station. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They also go the extra mile when there are kids in the equation. The terrace is great in most seasons! I only wish this was open for a bit longer in the evenings, i.e. at least 8pm instead of the current 7pm closing time.

Love the staff, friendly know what i like. I can sit and relax. The vegan range has been extended, still lacks gluten free products.

It's very, very cold inside, everyone was sitting in jackets. It was really unbearable.

So I find it a bit worrying if I can no longer even order in German (not Swiss German)!! Luckily I can speak English, my mother would have been completely overwhelmed here! That shouldn't be the case.

It's relatively good. The terrace is right next to the train station, which means the noise level is high next to the tracks. But there is always a view of the lake. All in all OK.

Very energy-free/passive operation. I was there with my colleague and her two children; the children needed a lot of attention. Nevertheless, I had my ears open to the call. They didn't even bother to call my name, I had to wait a long time for my order (which had already been completed for a few minutes). They were too busy having private conversations. If I hadn't stopped by, we would have been able to close the shop with them that evening.

The staff are always very friendly and even when there is a line, it seems to move quickly. Outside deck is roomy with lots of seating options. I always order a venti “classic iced tea” (which according to the menu is just tea, no lemonade). I have ordered both in German and English, specifying only black tea, without lemonade. Unfortunately, more often than not my order is either made with lemonade or I happen to see them getting out the lemonade and stop the barista before they add it.

Actually a cozy Starbucks in the heart of Thalwil. Last time, however, instead of the oat milk I ordered, I was given normal milk, which I drank without suspecting anything, which left me with the worst cramps in the evening in the hospital. Please be more careful in the future, something like this can easily backfire...

Small Starbucks where you can sit either inside or outside (at the back). Due to its size, it always feels a bit crowded to me except for my last visit which was shortly after the introduction of the covid certificate entrance requirement. Please bring back the glaced donuts :)

I used to go there as I live nearby. However last time instead of plant based milk (as I asked and this option was on my receipt) barista put normal milk. Because of large amount caramel syrup (on top even tho I asked to put it inside and quote: "you deserve a bit more sugar") I didn't notice cow milk till I drunk half of it. I am lactose intolerant and had quite rough night after. Never ever again.

I'm gluten intolerant, so there is almost nothing I can eat here. Sadly I've just become intolerant to coffee too. Covid-19 means I cant even enjoy the view from the terrace as its closed. Staff are amazing and I really miss my americano and muffin.

Everything is perfect except the store itself is too small

Great location, usual decor, overpriced products but good coffee. Unfortunately the waitress doesn't know her job. As a customer, I expect to be served at the counter, that's why I'm there. You just have to interrupt the exciting conversation with your work colleague and work. In return you get a salary at the end of the month. It would be that easy.

Well, Starbucks isn't even comfortable.

Cozy place to spend a Sunday morning with friends, working or reading newspapers. When sunny and warm the balcony is a must with a view on Thalwil's railway station. The location is very central.

I love chocolate, they are very good there.

I personally had good experiences with this Starbucks. But I was also there in the evening and the service was nice. Maybe because it was a man and not women as described in other reviews... well, my coffee was also very tasty and everything was clean.

Overpriced, small, dirty tables, crowded with mothers and screaming children and crying newborns on weekday afternoons. Nothing against children but that's too much of a good thing!

I got a Black Ventom. In the picture the cream was black. The employee simply sprayed white on it and covered it with the black powder! If the drinks are so expensive then at least you're doing it right!

Exorbitant prices for a cold coffee for 7 francs made with ice cubes....that's a high price to pay! And the waitress was not informed of what she was selling... Very bad experience.

To be honest: At first glance, Thalwil has relatively few obvious arguments other than the low taxes and the incredible train connections. But there are a few 'hidden treasures'. This includes the Starbucks with probably the most beautiful view in the Zurich metropolitan region - provided you carry your nose a little higher, as befits real Zurich residents, because then your gaze doesn't even touch the track field in front of you, but dives directly into the one behind it Lake. Service extremely friendly and efficient, clean. Still only 4 stars because it doesn't invite you to linger, but that is likely to change after the renovation next month, so the 5th star will certainly not be a problem.

A place where you can drink something like coffee at a very expensive price. Prepared by grumpy and annoyed female staff who like to make customers wait to take away boxes or have a chat. Not really inviting, mediocre clean, with few complete newspapers to wait for the next train...

The boss is super friendly and quick, as are the ladies. The only negative thing that stands out is the tall guy with dark hair, who apparently finds every order a nuisance and also waits until 7 a.m. sharp to take the order (when the shop is open), leaving you standing at the counter for 3 minutes... Luckily srine kollKoll is different, otherwise I wouldn't come by at all

Terrace is overwatching train station, so it can get a bit noisy.

The staff is surprisingly unfriendly and rude. They have the worst attitude i have ever experienced in Zürich. I had an iced cappuccino and they put sugar in it without asking me. When I complained about it , I got the response that this is the way they make it and they don’t have the obligation to ask me whether i prefer sugar or not .

This is a fairly small Starbucks on the main Street in Thalwil. The staff were friendly and efficient. All the usual food and drinks are served there. There's a small outdoor deck area. There's on street parking directly outside or a larger carpark across the road attached to the Coop supermarket.

A bit cramped bar. Service nice and professional. Location quite strategic, very close to the center.

A bit small. Has a medium-sized balcony with a beautiful view of Lake ZH. Lots of screaming children... But the coffee is very good. Only has 1 parking space, the rest is metered and frequently parked.

There are certainly nicer Starbucks cafes. However, this one scores points with its central location near the train station and friendly staff. Drinks good as in all other branches I have visited so far.

Frappuccino inedible, way too much ice and no taste at all. Didn't get any better despite a complaint. In particular the Asian lady was extremely unfriendly. Does not have to be...

Considering the name they have this place is filthy a times. Tables are dirty and rubbish lying on the floor. Toilets are at times smelly. Very disappointing considering it's in Switzerland.

This location some staff have attitude and don't always make the soy drinks in the soy only jug which is awful when you have an allergies and the whole point of going to Starbucks is for the reliability of the products. When pointed out they used the dairy milk jug for the soy the staff gave attitude and argued. City starbucks much better for consistency.

A cafe with a terrace above a train station. The view from the terrace is great. See Lake Zurich and the opposite bank caressed by the sun. Unfortunately, the most beautiful part of the cafe is dedicated to smokers.

Nice view onto the lake, great terrace. Annoying people usually doing phone calls early in the morning, happens almost every time I'm there. Favorite spot for expat meet-ups.
