Last visit Jan 2022. Still as good as it always was! This place is amazing. A hard working family runs it and they have a great selection of wines, featuring some by Dieter Mayer (singer of Yello). Their meats are excellent and after eating the rib eye I want nothing else. The restaurant is divided in two sections, one more of an upscale type sit down type area and the other more of a typical swiss pub style area. Meats are served on a hot stone, meaning you grill your own meat to your taste and liking. They have good free wifi and more importantly they have a good air filtration system so you dont end up smelling too badly like grease or food. This place is frequented by locals and as a tourist you would need a rental car or an uber to get here. Expect to pay Zurich prices. Swiss restaurants are not cheap when it comes to eating good steaks and these guys always have great quality. I did complain once about a steak that had an unusually large amount of hard gristle and they brought me a new one without discussion. I come here frequently and by now they bring me my drinks without even asking. A nice place where you can go to spend a romantic evening or a casual evening.
