The Tea Room in the Stedtli Aarberg tempts with many fine things, whether salty or sweet. In the warm season you can also enjoy what is on offer outside. You will find a large selection of special chocolates, breads and sweets to take away. It's best to stop by once!

The service staff came to see us several times. After waiting for a quarter of an hour, we asked if it was possible to order something. The answer I got was "yes...yes"....after 5 minutes she came over. Nice cafe with delicious patisserie...unfortunately very unfriendly in the tea room!!!!

Today I bought something delicious again from Steffen's store and lo and behold... The super nice lady from Eastern Switzerland (St.Margrethen) made it seem even more homely to me. I remember your Rorschach 1979 flower shop well, I was there often. The quality of the food was very, very good 👍🏼everything beautifully presented in the showcases, clean, beautiful shop 🥐☕️I would be happy to come back

Excellent sandwiches. The Steffen Bakery also has a cafeteria. The winter garden inside offers, in addition to various delicacies and drinks, a very attractive view of the old city moat and gardens. In the direction of the town square you can watch the leisurely goings-on in the Stedtli while enjoying your coffee under the awning and parasols.

Made an observation at the counter this afternoon. A customer explained to the saleswoman that she gave Fr.50 but only got change for Fr.20. The saleswoman said she no longer knew how much the customer gave. The saleswoman insisted that the customer leave her address and telephone number. So that you can inform the customer if there is an excess of Fr.30 in the till when billing in the evening. The customer didn't understand this because the saleswoman insisted that she couldn't check whether there was too much Fr.30 in the till. I myself completely understood the customer. But the arogant manner of the saleswoman was not at all. As a guest who was drinking coffee very close by, I didn't feel at all comfortable with this conversation that the two of them were having. Such personnel are not supported for the company.

The two of us met for an exchange and enjoyed coffee and tea with delicacies of our own selection. The restaurant is popular, but the service was quick, friendly and competent.

Always a pleasure to go and have a good pastry with a coffee!

Selection of sweet pastries disappointing, waiting times too long and when ordering a sweet pastry you are not served at the table and are sent to the counter / cash register to pay / collect, although the accompanying curry chicken salad and drinks for both are otherwise brought to the table. Service is called something different.

Best club sandwich I've ever eaten. Fresh salmon, homemade toast that was uniquely good. Perfect. Service very nice and friendly.

Very good, inexpensive salad plates, you can get olive oil or lemon juice in small jugs upon request, and of course French or Italian sauce is also available!! Good whole grain peaks and various breads with a long fermentation time!!

Super nice service, lots of different, tasty things. We had two Grand Cru hot chocolates and two small sweets from the buffet. I thought the hot chocolate was very good, but my wife found it a bit too bitter. But it's not sugar milk with brown dye, it's real, dark chocolate ;-). But it really wasn't particularly bitter, so I had my reservations at first, but I found it extremely good.

We go to Steffen as a group every Sunday. The food is awesome and the staff is very polite. The location is also great, have breakfast with a view of the old town of Aarbeg.🙏🏾

Very good place for dessert. Bathroom situation is a little difficult for mobility challenged people. It has curving stairs with a banister that is rather low.

It's no coincidence that this tea room is always full. very good, homemade delicacies. No matter what I've eaten there so far, it's always been very good. If you find space, sit down and enjoy! The location in the picturesque old town of Aarberg is also unique.

Great.....everything is just good...we have driven there from Basel many times. Always good, simply great...best pastry shop I know. Also a very friendly boss...we never regretted driving the 200km. Just 😋 😋 😋

Fine pastries. On Sunday you should either be there early or reserve your bread, otherwise there won't be much of a choice.

The two of us deployed outside. Bircher muesli and pretzel sandwich with cheese tasted good. Coffee was good. Service only for items on card. Sandwich had to be bought at the store. It would be even more customer-friendly if items outside the menu were also brought to the table.
