Because of the construction site, I had to switch to another bakery. I would never have expected that the croissants from migrolino, which cost half as much, would taste much softer and better than yours! Price-performance ratio is not right

A very unfriendly lady pointed out to me in a very harsh tone that no dogs were allowed (a 14-week-old little puppy sat quietly next to me). However, I entered the store via the left door. Apparently dogs are allowed in that part, as there was a dog sitting there with a water bowl. Then I went to the counter upstairs (with the dog in my arms) to buy some soup to go. However, you couldn't buy them upstairs, but only downstairs in the bakery (same building, only separated by a staircase without a door - none of the staff upstairs mentioned anything about the dog ban downstairs). What I waited for 2-3 minutes downstairs in the bakery and then ordered a soup and was about to pay. A second lady came over and told me very loudly and harshly that dogs are not allowed here. I then said if I could pay now and take some soup to go? To which she replied that it was even outside (although apparently that only applies to the right entrance and not the left entrance through which I came). I then left the store without lunch and without further discussion. I will never buy my Sunday rolls or cakes there again. PS: The soup at the Wüst bakery nearby was very good and the staff was very friendly!

The finest salad dressing for fresh nutmeg salt with egg and bacon. Plus a Silserbrötli with Bündnerfleisch and a latte to take away. Very nice service and normal prices. Recommended for take away only!

Very nice place but the staff is totally unprofessional and not the most polite. We just needed one more chair in a table of many and they didn’t allow us despite there were plenty, in tables under the rain, and us promising we will return it in its place before we leave. When we asked for the reason they just ignored us.

Very rude and impolite staff with no respect to Clients! The lady in the coffee shop started to yell on us because we needed one more chair for our friend to sit. In the end we weren’t allowed to take the chair and no alternatives were offered to us. You should consider to be more professional, polite and put the Client first!

I would like to give no star. The coffee, picked up and paid for at the counter, is brought to the table. The cinnamon rolls must be picked up and paid for in the store according to instructions. Then the surprise: we are rudely and rudely informed that if we consume something at the table, we will have to pay an extra charge. Our objection that we didn't know this was dismissed with the generous wording: I'm waiving the surcharge as an exception. The same incident happened at the next table. My promise: I will stop using Steiner products from now on.

Lovely little cosy cafe with interesting indoor area! We went on a Sunday with my husband and daughter to have a coffee - cappuccino is great also the quiche with salad, very yummy! Friendly staff and they also found my daughter's pacifier, she lost it but they kept it.

I usually don't write reviews and I always give a second chance to businesses. Today it was their third chance. Very slow service and the lady was VERY rude to us. It doesn't matter if you're a client and if you just gave them some money. They treat you like they don't want you there. I feel it's because we're not swiss, since they are ok with locals. Although it was raining and we had a pregnant lady in our company, we decided to leave and go somewhere else. Never again on this place. NEVER! I'd never pay to be insulted! Would you?

Very slow service, but most importantly VERY RUDE and unprofessional staff. I've been here a few times and the lady with the short hair and glasses always speaks with an attitude. I don't know why tha managers haven't done anything yet after all these comments here.

Unfortunately I cannot give less than a star, they don't deserve even this... Whoever the owner is, should definitely think of a big change! The words PROFESSIONALISM and KINDNESS are probably unknown for a few of the women running the business. Especially the one with the glasses and the short hair... There have been many incidents (there is no reason to metion thoroughly, you can check all the reviews below) that me and my friends can confirm and always we try to give an excuse. One, two, three times, again and again... Always unpolite, completely rude and with a racist attitude! That's enough, for me today it was the last time I gave a chance to this place! There is no way I would visit again or suggest it to anyone!

Small self-service breakfast CHF 8.90 (1dl juice, 2 rolls, approx. 20 g jam, 15 g butter). Drink separately (tea 4.20), total 14.10. Conclusion: a bit expensive. Note: Butter pretzel CHF 4.20, at my favorite Beck Bode with the best pretzel in town 2.70. Comment from the boss at Steiner (according to the employee at the counter: there are many bakeries that can't do math). Steiner can definitely do it. Service: I order the small breakfast, answer: drinks are not included. True comment, it sounded like an apology (I'm probably not the first to find the prices proud). Employee otherwise friendly. General: Cleaning takes place 20 minutes before the cafe closes. Mob etc is standing around, buckets of water. A child is yelled at not to run around (notably in front of the counter where you order). En Goode.

As mentioned here many times: very unfriendly personal!!! One lady with the glasses and short hair was very rude with me and my 2 year old daughter who was eating some bread from home, like we cannot bring our food inside 🤦🏼‍♀️ when i of course ordered a few things there for me. Then she also made a comment not to touch a glass wall to my daughter … we left and will never come back

Open also on Sundays. Extraordinary quality of bakery which is always fresh. For a small household they also sell bread of 250g. Friendly shop employees.

Went there for coffee yesterday afternoon. The sun terrace is cute and beautifully placed in the sun. The nice lady at the counter served us courteously and even brought water for the dog. She was very warm and friendly with our questions and requests. The homemade lemonade and iced teas are highly recommended. The chai latte was very nice and there was also water and a praline. We'd love to come back.

Nice place. Unfortunately, one of the ladies there is always rude with the customers and spoils the nice atmosphere that this place could have. She always looking for a reason to "play the boss" there and talks like an "old school" teacher to the customers. Very unprofessional.

very unfriendly service! When asked: “What’s in the vegetable soup?” I was answered in a cheeky tone "yes vegetables, thanks!" After a very long wait because the soup I requested was prepared and not within "reach" and had to be picked up in another room (in the middle of lunch service, on a cold, rainy fall day), I was informed that they had only frozen the soup I requested. After ordering another, unfrozen soup (which again had to be fetched from somewhere), I wanted to order a "quiche" to go with it. It was explained to me flippantly that it wasn't called "quiche" but "vegetable tart"... (but it was labeled quiche on the counter...). Ultimately the soup tasted okay. Unfortunately, the quiche was very "eggy" and had little to do with vegetables... despite the proximity to the office, I will avoid this bakery from now on... and so will the colleagues who saw what was happening.

From outside unfortunately you can’t see the nice and cozy interior well. A good place to have coffee with small dessert. Today I had a pumpkin soup.the taste is ok😅 I would go there again for coffee for sure.

Food ok. However, the waiting time is long, the group doesn't get to eat together, or almost 30 minutes of waiting time. "We can't bring everything together" the waitress replied. Great answer! Rather expensive for what you get.
