Incredibly nice staff! Yesterday (Monday March 25th, 2024) my husband, our almost 2-year-old daughter and I were there for breakfast. Everyone was super friendly! The atmosphere is great and very cozy, especially for families! And the company seems to be very child-friendly because our daughter, who is always very skeptical, felt very comfortable and even ate a lot, which made us very happy and is not something she takes for granted. Because it was so great, I was there today with my sister and her almost 2-year-old son and my daughter and again everyone was very satisfied and enthusiastic! We are very happy to have such a great restaurant/bakery near us!

Whether it's salads, sandwiches or warm meals, I always find something delicious to eat. The employees are always friendly and the rooms are clean. I will continue to collect points and enjoy the rewards thanks to the PlusCard! Keep it up 😁

Unfortunately, the lack of service is not offset by the beautiful interior and good quality. Unattended counter upon entry. One employee was busy with her family. She must have had a break. The other served customers at the bakery. Even though I was seen, it took 5 or more minutes (that feels long when someone from the back office shows up every now and then but ignores customers) until the person in charge of sales called a colleague from the back office. I don't feel like a customer, but rather a disturbing object. A pity...

We were there for lunch with a large group. It was delivered very quickly and, above all, at the same time. Kitchen is very good.

On a beautiful Sunday, we had the unfortunately bad idea of ​​going to the Steiner in Oerlikon. We arrived at 10:00 and got our breakfast at 10:30. You can imagine what the children's mood was like. When you order, you get a pager and have to take our espresso and latte macchiato with you. We were not told this at all at the checkout. Apparently the employee was new. So that would mean that you have to take your warm drink with you and drink it without breakfast, as it will only be ready after 30 minutes. Mind you, our order was: two small breakfasts. Nothing special…. This will be the last time for us. There are other well-known bakeries nearby where you can get our order straight away at the checkout.

Unfortunately, as a regular customer, I have to look for a new cafe. The friendliness suffered greatly. If multiple service is practiced in a bakery, this is absolutely ok as long as what was ordered is then served. Unfortunately, running into the kitchen for another customer while you were still ordering is tactless and does not show decency. Even adding 2 bags of sugar to the cup before brewing the coffee into the cup is asking too much. My request was always fulfilled without any problem. Since this is obviously no longer done, according to the employees, I will have to look for another location. I have high demands on coffee and celebrate coffee as a drink. Unfortunately not a premium cafe more. The food, however, was of the usual standard. ADDITION: The fact that the review was processed so quickly and that there is obviously a response shows me that one should not always hold the entire company accountable out of frustration over a single situation. Therefore 1 star more.

I've been going there since this branch opened! Today, May 1st, 2023, was totally wrong! As always, I did my shopping first and then, as always, wanted to buy our breakfast at the coffee/food counter! Here I was told in a brisk tone to get breakfast at the sales counter! I asked if it was new and was insulted! As a stone explorer for many years, I have never experienced this before! If Steiner Hagenholz has the feeling that we are dependent on you, I will just say no! By the way; Before and after us, at least 20 customers were amazed at the way we did it. E.g. 3 older ladies who immediately noticed among themselves that they would go to Fleischli again in the future! Goal achieved???

Why do you always receive such unfriendly service in this Beck? There every weekend and every time very bad, unfriendly service! If they don't want to have customers, they shouldn't work there!!! Never again!!

It's a shame that you don't feel welcome here! Really all of the employees are very unfriendly. They don't even have to serve at the table, but look at us like this, why are you there? The managers definitely have to do something with the employees!!!!

The café is beautifully designed and the selection of drinks, sandwiches and sweets is huge.

The baked goods are not that special. More standard. The one person from the service was very strict about her working hours. She made it clear to us that she was now off work. A thank you to your colleague who kindly took over. There is enough parking space available.

Today, January 21st, 2023, we entered the local at around 3:30 p.m. and picked up salad and birch vegetables to consume on site. The employee (with a beard) immediately warned us several times that it would close at 4:00 p.m. We paid and looked for a table. 15 minutes later we were finished (3:45 p.m.) and got some patisserie to take away. The same gentleman packed the Natas one on top of the other in a paper bag. When we asked if we could have a box, he said completely cheekily that nothing would happen. Always happy to be with you, today for the last time.

We get our bread and rolls there every Saturday and Sunday. The bread is really good and the strawberry cake was also super delicious in the summer!

Nice and tasty cakes, staffs are amazing. Heard my English patiently and tried answering in English as well. I took takeaways of cake pieces.. Cake price was 4.80CHF per piece for black forest and strawberry torte.

Great in itself, but the higher prices for consumption in the café are not justified in my opinion, as it is still self-service and therefore the (still understandable) surcharge for the service should be eliminated. In the branch in Dietikon the prices are the same in both cases, despite the fact that it is a staffed café.

We were happy with everything. The variety was impressive, the staff was very courteous and prompt. The store is very spacious, the chairs are comfortable. We will definitely return in the future!

The food, we had the Steiner breakfast, was great. The service, however, not really. We sat in the back of the restaurant and had to wait 10 minutes for the menu, then my husband went to the counter and was told that it was self-service (it wasn't visibly written anywhere). When I wanted to order a cold Ovaltine for breakfast, they said that only hot drinks (including HOT Ovaltine) were included. I didn't have any other hot drink and actually had to pay separately for the COLD Ovaltine. Nobody came to us during and after the meal, even though the shop was completely empty except for one other couple. So of course we didn't feel like actively ordering anything again... It's a shame because the place had potential. But we were probably there today for the first and last time…
