In the boarding school, not only the students but also the teaching staff stay in the school's lodgings. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are accompanied by formal attire. Being from a wealthy family, many years ago during a summer holiday in switzerland I decided to visit this school with my wife to see if it was a good place for our kid. As soon as we arrived by car, we met a very rude ugly dumb man, maybe a guardian, or maybe a professor, we asked informations and he answered us in a very unwelcoming unpolite unpleasant rude way , telling us to not go around the campus. If this fool little loser with no money , obviously envious of wealthy clients, can remember me, then he should just be ashamed of being such an unprofessional dumb loser. Obviously we have chosen another school.

It is not as luxurious as they say, it is just a facade, here in Nicaragua there are better schools than that.

If I have to give a rating for the exterior of the building, I'll give it five stars, even though I would have liked to give it 10! I enjoyed my time studying in Le Rosey. Of course a diverse environment, despite all its advantages, unfortunately also sometimes entails students who do not know how (or like) to use a proper toilet but I have a feeling there will be less of these in the near future (and more meat in the menus)

As a Rosean parent I can attest that Rosey has had a huge positive impact on my child. Beyond academics she has been exposed to vast cultural diversity, made close friends and matured significantly in an environment which I found at the same time nurturing and stimulating. We are grateful for the staff and faculty for their care and attention.

When we read comments like: "bad comments always made for people with Indian names" or "it's not for poor people" we see very clearly the values ​​that this institution conveys and the type of people that there assist. Excellence is not a school that gives it to you except your involvement and dedication, as the history of the greatest thinkers, scientists, artists, etc., in the world demonstrates. Where there are elites, racism or any type of discrimination there is always a lot of ignorance. These children ultimately make me sad because they measure "success" by social position, money... We are far from finding true excellence, namely: the progress of all humanity towards a better and more fairer for all.

I have great memories from this place! Despite expensive, things were always done with simplicity. It was a lot of work but it did pay off, what I learned there will go for a lifetime. Pricey as it might be, there were activities all the time and you just would never stop, which was good. The levels of discipline, like everything else in Switzerland were very high and I miss my years there. It was a great experience. It’s very nice to feel globalized the way I feel but without overreaching, which means I see the world as it is and feel comfortable wherever I go due to the Cultural amount of information I received as a child. It’s still about simplicity and good manners! It’s not about showing off! Sometimes I felt we were taught a lot more than we could learn but Bottomline we did learn a lot more than what we were willing to, which means the system works to our very favor. When I am around I always pop up to see what’s out and about and gladly meet old pals around. It was a beautiful childhood and filled with incredible memories. I have lately read some comments regarding bullying in this school and allow me to say that this unhappily happens pretty much everywhere! In my years, we were students from all corners of the world and different among us. Some people are far more forthcoming while others aren’t. Have I ever been bullied? I guess not! I had very good friends that made up for the ones that were not so friendly. Many years ago the world “bully” did not even exist, but the process is always the same. My best advice would be: you go there to study and learn, and it costs a lot and so, the student must study and learn. If you want, you will acquire a great culture and bullying will stay in the past. I would even say that any multicultural place will have internal problems, but that is because of the numerous mentalities existing in the same place. You will read other reviews, roughly against me, which means some people don’t agree with my views and reviews. That happens!

Our daughter is since two years at Rosey and starts next year in class 6. We are a Dutch family and our experience is that Rosey has an excellent way of organising the school, with great teachers and staff who are very engaged. It is a privilege to have your child at Rosey. The personal growth of the students is well guided in every step along the way and unique for Rosey. As parents, we truly recommend the school.
