The old building was definitely nicer. Prices are too high in my opinion. Food was OK. It was definitely too loud in there.

Beautiful chalet trimmed with hut magic. The menu offers various fondues with all sorts of side dishes. Very nice and the staff is great.

The evening at Stivai was absolutely amazing. Not only was the food fantastic, but I can also tie a wreath to the service. For me it was one of the most beautiful gastronomic experiences ever. I'm already looking forward to the next time. Thank you very much ❤️. Tobi

We had our birthday party with our friends at Stivai on Friday evening. It was wonderful! Everything worked perfectly from A to Z. Everyone enjoyed the food, as did the wine and drinks. We would particularly like to emphasize the absolutely excellent, friendly and very attentive service from Samuel. Sämi spoiled us all to the fullest. Great!!👍🏻

I have celiac disease, which is why it's not very easy for me to go out and eat fondue somewhere. I contacted Stivai and they responded very well. I was allowed to bring my own bread and I also got a side dish (1 portion of potatoes) for free. Because bread would be included in the regular price. I felt very included and would love to come back next year.

Cool location. Had our “Christmas dinner” at Stivai yesterday. Cozy atmosphere, lovingly furnished, service is on point. Food and selection very good. I also think value for money is good. There are enough parking spaces nearby. Reservation is an advantage, it is usually full.

Well, I tried it, but I don't have to repeat it. Everything is crowded, you can't eat comfortably, although the tables and benches aren't comfortable anyway. The service is inattentive, after you have ordered it is difficult to be noticed by the service staff if you want something else. Very expensive, and then you have to leave the table after 1-1.5 hours. It feels like assembly line work. I come from the service… whether that is also the case with the staff is questionable. They were friendly, but that doesn't help me if they only call back to clear the table and throw us out. I'd rather go to a restaurant with friendly, attentive service staff where I can enjoy the evening in peace

I tried the cheese fondue again, but I prefer raclette. Service was very friendly and generous. The ambience feels homely and has a modern touch. Due to the large number of guests, it was cramped at the table and quite loud, but understandable since it had to be profitable. I can only recommend it to anyone who loves fondue, it is very special.

Very fine food. The aperitif was very nicely presented, the tarte flambée was airy and crispy. Finally there was a classic fondue and a porcini mushroom fondue. Both were delicious! The ambience invites you to linger and you feel at home.

Keep it up, it was very good. I'd love to come back. The equipment is great and yet also modern mixed with old.

Unfortunately it didn't quite meet our expectations. Benches were shaky, it The food was served tightly so that as many people as possible could sit on a bench. It didn't matter whether it was comfortable to eat, the main thing was that the money flowed... or so it seemed. Salad without taste and drowned in sauce, service stressed and inattentive. The fondue was good though, had the house mix. All in all, as a team we would consider a different restaurant next time.

The location in Hof zu Wil gives the cozy event even more class. Really well done and always motivated and prepared staff.

Service, atmosphere and food were great! Unfortunately, you were literally sent away because you had only reserved the table for a certain time. It wouldn't be a problem in itself, it just wasn't communicated anywhere, not even when making the reservation. So we couldn't order dessert. The service staff therefore has to “eat up” everything. A pity…

Food was good, service was good unfortunately we couldn't eat the dessert anymore because they sent us away... It is very poorly described on the homepage that you are only allowed to sit at the table for a certain amount of time
