Stocker in Zürich

Very good baked goods at a high price. This one fits perfectly if everything is right. Unfortunately, in the last few weeks we have had the impression several times that the goods were not completely fresh. At Maxi you can get freshly baked industrial bread. It's not quite the same quality, but it's nice and fresh and a little cheaper.

In this bakery, no one seems to pay attention to a minimum level of hygiene when handling the croissants and breads. Unfortunately, we have observed this several times - we no longer go shopping there.

Fruit salad is inedible and not special at all. 60-70% just apples. Apricot tart is way too big and too doughy! Staff; could be more attentive and friendly.

I was looking for a personalized cake at very short notice and found it at the Bäckeri-Konditorei Stocker. The advice on the phone, sending an offer including a photo with a possible cake, the cake itself and the delivery, everything was top notch from A-Z. Thanks so much!

Preferably no stars at all! Having a cake made is a disaster! First the name is spelled wrong even though you wrote it down and then when you pick up the cake after correcting the name you get the cake in your hand, still melted and cracked!!! Never no recommendation again! I'm very angry!!!!

I wanted to order a double espresso with warm milk. I have to get this myself from the machine. That alone was strange to me, but good. Now the lady told me that it would cost Fr. 3.- per espresso plus Fr. 4.- for warm milk. So I would have to pay Fr. 10 for a double espresso with milk, which I would have to buy myself from the machine. At 12.45 we had a croissant salad and a few meatloaf sandwiches. When I asked if there were other salads, I was given a short and succinct answer: no. Long story short: It's an absolute catastrophe that such people work in customer contact.

Disappointingly underwhelming as a bakery. French and chocolate croissant were just dry and unpleasant, the Zopf lacked yeasty stringiness and taste. It's just a pity that in Zurich you have so much better chances to get halfway decent bread in the supermarket shelves than in your average bakery

It's been a long time since I've eaten such a bad tasting butter croissant! Too bad, it ruined my morning! On the other hand, I love the Züriguetzli.

The very best St. Galler bread in the city and actually in the whole world! (...why my request as to when Nidelwähe will be available again is unfortunately beyond my knowledge, perhaps Stocker will write to me this way ;-))

The saleswomen in this branch seem to be unable to motivate themselves either for the products or for the customers. Several times I haven't received the product I wanted in the box, which I unfortunately only discovered when I got home. When asked about this, you turn around without saying a word and “just” pack up what you want. It's a shame, because the products are of good quality, but it's no fun shopping in this store and having to "check" whether you're getting the right thing or not.

Absolutely unfriendly service. Choice very limited. Bread tastes just as bad as from Migros, sometimes even worse. The worst is the "Rüblitorte", dry and tastes like nothing. Every other bakery in the area is better.

If I walk into a small shop and the lady at the checkout doesn't greet me, I find that very unfriendly. I said hello and she completely ignored me. Then I walked over to the display case and grabbed a salad because I paid for it with a tea. When I wanted to sit down at the table, she told me that I wasn't allowed to do that ("because of the distance", so unfortunately she didn't say a whole sentence, she didn't seem to care about anything). But then I ask myself why the table is there, why don't they at least take the chairs away? When I saw the table I wanted to eat my salad there. If I had known that, I would have chosen another product that is easier to eat while standing up. The tea selection is also very, very subtle. Unfortunately I won't be coming back.

Special order uncomplicated, unbureaucratic, completed on time and delivered in good quality! Very sympathic! Gladly again!

I was in this bakery for the first and last time today. I was served by a Mrs. Vieli, as soon as I entered the bakery I had the feeling that I was interrupting, this woman was so unfriendly, she didn't even ask what you would like. She just looked at me like that, basically whatever I wanted. I ordered a pastry and a coffee. She basically threw the pastries on the counter and didn't explain to me that you have to let the coffee out yourself (which I don't really understand in Corona times, I don't think it's disinfected regularly) I paid with a card, When the transaction was finished, this lady simply walked away without a word and then chatted with her colleague. There was no verse or explanation about the coffee machine. I haven't been served so unfriendly in a long time. Never again Stocker Bakery.

Thank you very much for making the cake we wanted. It was exactly as we discussed it and as we imagined it. They are very customer friendly and responded precisely to our needs. We and our guests really enjoyed and enjoyed the cake. Highly recommended!

Selection is so-so. Unfortunately not particularly big. The biggest problem is that they are not open on Sundays. They could at least open in the morning.

The best ham croissants in Zurich! Especially when they are fresh out of the oven. It's best to be there 5-10 minutes before 12 p.m. because they usually sell out quickly during the lunch break.

As good as the quality is, the way spoken to a child today is not acceptable and appropriate, the more mature employee can discipline her grandchildren and communicate with a raised voice, but not with a customer's child!! Incomprehensible

Just the way you want your bakery to be. Fine, large assortment, familiar and friendly! My favorite bakery for many years!
