Cant go wrong with the Burger, only would have preferred on a brioche bread. The NY strip entrecôte was a little hard for my taste and expectations, but the sides were wonderful. Drinks were good and service too. Cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Recommend visiting.

It was only by chance that we stopped here to find a geocache. The “Stocks” was a good option for lunch. The food was consistently good and plentiful. The service was very friendly, but could have been a little more attentive. Even though we were the only guests at the time, we were ignored for a long time, but I would have liked to have increased beverage sales a little.

Unfortunately very very disappointed. The homemade ice tea tastes artificial, "refined" with frozen fruits. The food wasn't good across the board. Shrimp were not clean, the meat was extremely fatty and riddled with tendons. The service is overwhelming despite the manageable number of guests. A look around showed that we weren't the only disappointed guests.

An absolute MUST for every meatlover! Great atmosphere and friendly english speaking service. We ordered spareribs and a burger and both were amazingly delicious. The portions were huge and we didn’t need to wait long. Definitely best restaurant we visited while in Switzerland!

Very good but also correspondingly expensive

I like the ambience, furnishings with a table, chairs and a napkin with a nail as a napkin ring (cool idea). food was ok, but not outstanding. Risotto was a bit bland in taste and not warm, lower plate with the meat was very hot. Dessert “double truffle”: chocolate mousse and whiskey mousse are very nice.

My steak was cooked near perfection - a little too bloody for medium rare - but my wifes steak was overcooked a fair but. The meat was good quality but there was a severe lack of seasoning. The fat wasn't rendered enough on both cuts too. Meal cost $220 AUD. With these prices, more is expected.

Very mixed feelings. The bottle of wine which we selected was delicious. The service very attentive and the lady were very friendly. Food was mediocre. Steak was made with wrong doneness. Second time was much better, but the meat quality was below expectations. The burger was aslo below expectations. The patty was too dry and too salty. The sides, salad, sweet and normal fries were very tasty. The atmosphere is lovely, there is enough space and it's not too loud.

Unfortunately a very big disappointment. The meat was neither tasty nor properly prepared. The side dishes also left a lot to be desired. The onion rings were fried to death and the cuts were unseasoned and lifeless. The price was therefore absolutely not justified and unreasonable for the quality presented. The physical well-being of the entire group was of the same quality after the visit.

The Stock's beef burger was good. But the garlic sauce with my country cuts was the best part of this menu. The dessert was beautifully presented.

The log cabin ambience and the American style are as much a part of Stock's as the desire to eat meat and its creative implementation. Hamburger with asparagus and strawberries? Fantastic! But traditional hamburgers are also good - only the surf and turf was a bit dry... but it doesn't necessarily belong in this rustic mountainous area. The staff was more than friendly... we were even allowed to park our car with the dogs in the forbidden area because it was only there in the shade. What is particularly worth mentioning, however, is the hot dog with glazed onions, arugula and pork sausage... I would even drive an hour for this one. Conclusion: Stocks is tried and tested, creative, friendly and always worth a visit... and the hot dog is inspiring 😁😁😂👍

Service top. What the three ladies achieve is impressive! Salad very good! By Cordon Bleu I mean meat with cheese. There was no cheese in it. The meat dry. The steak wasn't exactly juicy either. In terms of price, the food is definitely too expensive.

Today at Stocks was an absolute disaster. Two people ordered 2x the B2257 Ribeye 22oz for 117.- = 234.- each. What I got was overcooked (ordered medium) and not nearly 22oz as specified. The salad that came with it was a loveless imposition; the cook had cut the salad with a hatchet and thrown it into the bowl. After years of visiting Stocks, I am extremely disappointed. The staff showed no goodwill in reducing prices etc. As a regular guest for years, I'm now wondering whether I should ever visit Stocks again. Because it's like a Kinder surprise egg, you never know what you're going to get. It doesn't have to be cheap, it has to be good!

I was there about 2 months ago and it was an absolute disaster for me. I ordered the T Bone for 99 CHF in medium rare. But when it arrived it was completely well done. I made a complaint and received a replacement within 30 minutes. The replacement was completely English, overcooked on the outside and the meat on the inside was raw and ice cold. The third time it didn't work and the cook, who didn't understand German well, didn't want to see the problem, even though it was clear that you couldn't prepare a T Bone like that for 99chf. I was only able to eat my corn on the cob and then left after 3 hours with an empty stomach.

Unfortunately never again... We often ate there. Everything was always very good. Until this summer, we received very poor quality meat. When we informed the service staff, she passed this directly on to the chef. He wasn't interested in our concerns at all. Wir gingen an einem Freitagabend im Stock‘s Bar & Steakhouse essen. Vorgängig haben wir einen Tisch reserviert.Das Stock‘s Bar & Steakhouse sieht optisch sehr originell aus, in einem Holzblockhütten-Stil. Vor dem Gebäude sind genügend Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden.Wir wurden von einer freundliche, jungen Dame begrüsst und an unseren Tisch gebracht. Der Tisch befand sich direkt neben der Bar. Dort zog es von der Lüftung und es war immer jemand am Getränke rauslassen oder lief direkt neben unserem Tisch durch. Dies wäre ja noch verkraftbar gewesen, jedoch mussten wir auch Gespräche hören, wie das Personal negativ über Gäste sprach. Dies geht für mich gar nicht. Das Essen kam relativ schnell, die Garstufe war gut und die Qualität des Essens auch. Besonders die Süsskartoffel-Frites möchte ich hervorheben, die waren ein Traum. Die Dame die uns betreut hat, wirkte sehr unmotiviert und unglücklich, dies gab Sie uns auch zu spühren. So hatte ich mich kaum dafür noch einmal ein Getränk zu bestellen. Auch die Dessertkarte wurde uns nicht gebracht, als wir zirka 30 Minuten nach dem Hauptgang am warten waren, wurden wir doch noch gefragt, wir entschlossen uns aber für die Rechnung, obwohl wir beide etwas gewählt hätten. Preise waren relativ hoch, für das Essen war es in Ordnung, der Service entsprach aber leider nicht unseren Vorstellungen.Fazit: Jemand der bereits einen Tag vorher reserviert, würde ich nicht an so einen Platz setzen. Essen war sehr lecker, Service hat nocht Potenzial gegen oben.
