Beautiful Badi was there in the summer

There's not much to enjoy there other than the view.

Waited 1 hour for the food, after we asked for the food we were told we should make it ourselves! There are no words to say, even after an apology.

Great place and food, but it appears that the chef is a bit overwhelmed, leading to delays in order preparation.

Small but nice beach with delicious food. Everything is prepared fresh. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Entrance fee 5 CHF for adults and 2.50 CHF for children.

Nice beach with a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately in the immediate vicinity of the industrial area, which you can clearly see from there. Unfortunately I didn't like the food. There is only fast food here and the vegiburger was almost inedible.

Always good to spend a day here. Lots of space, beautiful meadow or even a sandy beach. Lounger rental and much more.

Great restaurant right in the outdoor pool. A very attentive and friendly service team has everything under control. The daily menu includes salad from the buffet or soup. The food is very tasty and fresh. Presented attractively. I had lunch alone, was seated very nicely and felt completely comfortable.

Nice little place by the lake. There's not much going on in the morning, so you can relax on the jetty☺️

Great, I've known this place for 35 years. After some renovation, it's super nice. Kiosk, food and service are perfect. Recommended.

Queued for 45 minutes to order food and then waited another hour for the food. 1 person for food and drink checkout including entrance ticket office. Savings are being made in the wrong place! Otherwise, beautiful bathroom!

Went to the swimming pool today with stand up paddle. It's actually quite nice, especially for families and older people. The snack was ok, we just waited a bit long. However, the Badi is not at all suitable for stand-up puddlers. Since the water level is so low at the moment, getting in is very difficult. I asked the lifeguard whether this was the right place for this. To the left of the footbridge it goes down almost a meter deep over the stone wall where there are also large, very slippery stones at the bottom. I didn't dare go up there when I left, so I went out to the swimming pool and the lifeguard gave me a lot of trouble. The exit was at the big stones, they all went up there, although I pointed out to him how dangerous it was. I later noticed that almost no one made it out of there I'm wondering how security is supposed to be guaranteed? I'm very sporty and not timid, but I find this exit very dangerous. Does something always have to happen first? Pour up some gravel and the danger would probably be eliminated

Beat Hafner and his team and the beautiful location of the Stranbad Horw are always worth a visit. There is also super delicious food! If you've never been there and eaten something, you've definitely missed something!

Always beautiful. Perfect for a cozy afternoon even if it's just for coffee.

Small swimming area, nothing special. Without a lifeguard, we had free entry. You can drink or eat something.

Small but nice, food okay, beach food, but drinks great. Nice operators and everything is very family friendly. If in Horw- go!

2021 and you can't pay with card or Twint. Pretty wrong when you consider that every market stall now offers this option. If you've already dragged everything to the entrance, you're unlikely to get any money to come back. There is no vending machine nearby.

The location is very nice and the swimming facilities are also annoying, the loud music over the loudspeakers is annoying! The facility such as benches and cabins need renovation!

It’s a good place to lie down and enjoy the sunshine. However it is not the widest beach, with it’s water of course being as clean as the lake can be with reeds and everything else from nature. I would still recommend it, if you are in Horw or around the area. The entrance for an adult for the day is 5 CHF.

Not perfect but still nice on warm days, it's a shame that it closes even when there's a light rain.
