This year was definitely the last time I was in the parlor on the Piazza. And I will no longer recommend it, as I have always done in recent years. I am very disappointed. Like we had to do last year We paid for all of our food in advance so that our table was reserved. I'm wondering why a deposit isn't enough? In addition, the time is limited to two hours, which causes a lot of stress during a leisurely meal like fondue. But at least we weren't deprived of food last year! There were four of us. The offer includes Fondue Chinoise (300g of meat per person = one plate) including side dishes, starter and dessert. A year ago, the staff kindly pointed out to us that we were limited to one plate of meat per person. Thank God! Otherwise we would have been completely ripped off last week! We were consciously kept silent - and we all agree on this - about the fact that we could eat even more meat. We were served two plates of meat, rice, a portion of chips and sauces. When the plate with the fries was empty shortly afterwards, it was cleared away without asking if we would like more. (A portion of fries as a side dish for four people is a bit sparse. Last year the two of us received the same amount.) We had to ask for new fries twice until they were served about 30 to 40 minutes later. By then we had long since eaten the two platters of meat. The two empty platters of meat were looked at several times by the staff as they passed by. But we weren't asked if we would like more, let alone pointed out that more was included in the price! Since, as already mentioned, I knew from last year that we would have to receive two more plates, I asked the waiter about it. He said: "How many records did you have? Two? Yes, then we can add some more." His statement irritated me. I replied whether we don't have 300 grams per person? He said, "Yeah, it would be one plate per person." So we asked him to pack up our remaining two records. But whether this was possible first had to be clarified. And this when we had already paid for our meal?! At some point he came back and said they couldn't release the meat. We are only allowed to consume it in the restaurant. So we ordered the meat to the table. Instead of two plates as requested, only one plate was served again. With the question: Is that enough for the moment? It gave the dubious impression that they didn't want to give us all of our meat if we died! We couldn't believe it. The whole situation was questionable and very unpleasant. You ask guests to pay for the meal in full in advance and then withhold it from them...? And anyone who doesn't know this is being ripped off! We finally had our meat (both plates) which they brought to the table packed up. Ultimately, they couldn't serve it to other guests and had no choice but to give it to us. It was like we had to fight for our food. The evening was really a huge disappointment. I find it incredible what the room allows itself to do here.

Unique experience. Although the ambience was pleasant and the food was mostly good (especially the fries), the service was disappointing across the board. The entire meal was paid for in advance: starter, fondue chinoise (300g per person with side dishes) and dessert. The side dishes were initially served sparsely, and although supplies were promised, the staff ignored our empty plate. Only after asking several times did we finally receive more side dishes that we wanted. After we had already finished the main course, we had to wait a long time and ask for dessert, instead of the staff even having the idea to ask if we were ready for dessert. The absolute highlight, however, was that initially only 150g of meat per person was served and when we asked to pack the remaining 150g per person (which had already been paid for!!!), we were told that this was not possible. This is really an exciting business model, letting the customer pay for food in advance, but not wanting to give it to them so that they can serve it to the next person. We then asked that the meat be served to us and after we had all gotten in, we asked again to let us pack the rest and then, by magic, it was suddenly possible.

We were there for fondue dinner on Friday evening. Winter atmosphere in the building with pretty decorations. The fondue was delicious. Great aperitif drinks. Friendly and courteous service.

It's way too expensive. The service staff wasn't that friendly. My wine glass was knocked over by the service staff and landed on the table and our clothes, no one cared. The tablecloth wasn't changed and no one was interested in my clothes. If my friend hadn't asked if I was getting a refill, I would have paid for wine that ended up on the tablecloth. We also paid for everything. Nobody thought of coming to meet us. It was a disappointment and way too expensive. Not recommendable.

The fondue was good, the atmosphere was nice, and blankets were provided for those sensitive to drafts. About the service: We waited over 10 minutes for more bread. During that time, all of our fondues burned. The service employee came at least three times to offer us schnapps or liqueur, even though we had already said no. At 8 p.m., when ordering coffee, it was not possible to get a latte, the statement was literally "we don't heat milk at this time anymore". A plus: our fondue reorder was responded to immediately, but there were also problems with the supply of bread, which was then compensated for with potatoes.

Atmosphere inviting and cozy. If the weather is really cold, which it wasn't during our visit, wear warm shoes because it will be cold from below. Service attentive, but for us a bit too businesslike and sales-driven. Price/performance ratio is okay so far. Regarding the main thing, the fondue: As fondue lovers, our group was missing a classic version prepared with white wine (and kirsch) without any other frills. The classic here is offered alcohol-free (with sweet cider).

Absolutely impressive, especially the cleanliness, which is by no means a given in the catering industry. The quality of the food is first class, the fondue is a true taste experience. The service is friendly and impeccable. This place brings a fresh and new atmosphere to Baden, which is really refreshing. There is also a stylish cocktail bar right next door. I had the pleasure of enjoying an excellent Duca di Salaparuta wine, a jewel of Sicilian viticulture, proving that the room also offers an excellent selection of wines. We were a large group and were looked after excellently. Compared to other restaurants in the area, the restaurant clearly stands out in terms of both quality and price. We will definitely return and would like to express our thanks to the service team. They were extremely friendly, courteous, respectful and discreet.

We went there for dinner as a family, it was perfect! The service is top and so is the food, the cocktails anyway! There really is something for everyone. I highly recommend it :)
