Very nice restaurant and great place to work for people with different abilities and limitations. We spent a relaxed evening, received friendly service and had a delicious meal. I had Fondue Chinoise with French fries. I would give four stars for the Chinoise, but the fries were amazing. The service was attentive and since we had the Stübli to ourselves, the ambience was great.

I just don’t give more stars to the food because our burgers had something bitter on it… I couldn’t identify it it came from the bread (that was slightly burnt), from the onions (the caramelized could also bring some small bitter taste) or from the rucola leaves that were completely soggy inside the burger… the bitter taste took over the whole burger specially that meet, that comes from a very fine cut… if I come back to this restaurant I won’t eat the burger anymore… but the rest was fine and the people that ate the tartare also liked it. The sauce was forgetful. French fried also well done, crunchy and not too oily. It took maybe a bit too much time from when we ordered to the food coming. So I wouldn’t go on a hurry nor hungry.

I can recommend the Stürmi brunch every second Sunday. The selection is large and everything is served at the table, which makes it cozy. The service was good, attentive and friendly.

Great food in an even greater atmosphere! The alpine salmon was a stunner.

For a class meeting we chose the Sturmierhuus, in the small hall on the ground floor. The result at the end of the evening was unanimous: perfect in every respect! And we will be happy to stop by the Sümmerierhuus again for future gatherings!

Were invited to brunch on a birthday. Service, only 1 person with disabilities for around 20 guests, a bit low. The offer with the small plates was very nice to look at, the replenishment left a lot to be desired. Wouldn't choose this place personally.

A very old house, therefore very rustic and very cozy. The service was good, taking into account that the Sümmerierhuus is a social enterprise run by the Arbeitskette Foundation. The food was very fine. We had the salad bowl and Leberli. We recommend. For me, the livers could have been cut a little less flat, but they were perfect and tender. The dessert was good too. And yes, I know, I ordered the dessert in a different form, which may not have been the best idea. I ordered: Apple cakes with vanilla ice cream and cream for Fr. 12.00. Since I actually only wanted the apple cakes (i.e. without ice cream and cream), I was in good spirits to get a few delicious apple cakes. An oversized "bowl" arrived with ONE single apple fritter and some apple carving decoration. ONE apple cake, I no longer understood the world. “The price would have been reduced by CHF 4.00,” I was told. An apple cake for Fr. 8.00, I don't know, dear operator of the Sturmierhuus, you would have to rethink this strategy. After asking in the kitchen, I was generously given a second apple cake. Wow! It was a very special experience for me. But as a final word: food and ambience great.

Clear menu with fine culinary delights. We ordered 4 different starters and main courses and were extremely satisfied with the quality and quantity. The service was always present but by no means intrusive. A wonderful experience across the board. I can highly recommend it.

An old wall in Schlieren. Outside there is a beautiful, well-attended garden. Unique furnishings in a historic, well-preserved timber-framed house, modernly renovated, very coordinated. The house is beautiful. We always enjoy coming back. The offering is seasonal and the menus are freshly prepared. The quality of the products is extremely good. Everything is freshly prepared, which we think is great. The staff is friendly, professional and competent. They also agreed to our request to sell us the fresh homemade pear bread so that we could have it for our brunch the next morning. I can recommend the restaurant at the Sturmierhuus.

First I would like to praise the excellent service, a very nice waiter who is extremely attentive. We noticed that he likes to serve the guests and has fun. From starters to dessert, the food was also excellent. All components of the deer pepper went well together, very good portion size. The chestnut cake with the plum sorbet was also very tasty, a culinary delight! I haven't been so happy in a restaurant for a long time, keep it up! 👏

Went to Stüreierhuus for dinner yesterday and it was sooo delicious! The waitress (man with tattoos on his arms & messy hairstyle) was also funny and tried very hard and he really did a great job! It was my mother's birthday yesterday and when I made the reservation I expressed a small wish as to whether they could organize something; The table was beautifully set and she was given a card, which is not something I take for granted and is what sets this restaurant apart. We will come back and recommend it 100%. It's great that there are still restaurants like this that provide these people with a nice working atmosphere. As a guest, you need a little tolerance, but I think everyone understands that ;)

You can't hold a private event and not publish it. We drove from Uznach (SG) to Schlieren because I was so happy with your service and also the food 4 years ago. It's a shame that people don't use the internet properly. man would let it be better. With a quick phone call, this oversight would never have happened. Surprisingly inexpensive and really very good cuisine. The ambience is very nice, old and new have been combined very tastefully and you feel comfortable. The company is run, among other things, by people with disabilities, which I think is great. The employees are very committed and do their best. This requires a little bit of tolerance from the customer. But I can highly recommend the visit to everyone. A visit here is also recommended during the week, as you can eat really well for little money. The Sturmierhuus shows that it is easily possible to integrate people into everyday life who don't quite fit into the classic mold.

Not child friendly... I had to breastfeed my child first when I was sitting at the table and so that my coffee didn't get cold, I asked the lady that I would like to order later and she just looked at me stupidly... well that says a lot! The lovely owner of the restaurant also turned us away on a Saturday evening (2 people with a stroller) and found some excuse that we couldn't get a seat because we wanted to have a drink.

On the recommendation of a friend, I was told that you can eat the best fondue Chinoise a discretion at Sümmerierhuus. I can confirm that now. 3 different types of meat from the region, plus 10 homemade sauces. The boss recommended the right wine. And for dessert, homemade ginger ice cream. The food was phenomenal. The service was also very warm. I'm already looking forward to the next Fondue Chinoise in the Sümmerierhuus!

We were there on Saturday with the Elvis fan club. The restaurant was great, rustic and cozy. The service was very nice and attentive. But: a Riz Casimir with nuts in the sauce is a pure nightmare for anyone with a nut allergy! Please declare that!

A culinary jewel in Schlieren. I particularly liked the Leberli but also the salad bowl. Everything is freshly prepared. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The flambéed crepe Suzette is a spectacle not only for the palate but also for the eye. The reasonable prices allow us to enjoy these pleasures more often.

Very comfortably furnished restaurant. Great with the beams as dividing walls. Had fondue chinoise, nothing was missing and what was needed was immediately refilled. Is recommended.
