Suan Long in Wädenswil

The best Suan Long we have visited so far. Food is great!! Nobody in Zurich can keep up with that.

This Chinese restaurant offers very tasty food. The main shortcomings of Suan Long are that there are no pictures of the food on the website, there is no delivery service at lunchtime and there is no system for reusable dishes, but plastic has to be wasted every time. The latter is also a reason why we no longer order there as often and we have already considered avoiding the store until this problem is solved. The waitresses are very friendly, but don't speak German well enough. We also wonder whether the ingredients come from the region and are organic - probably not. The positive thing is that the food is usually prepared very quickly.

I was in this restaurant last week and it was a business lunch. There were three of us and when we got there we didn't even have time to sit down as they immediately rushed us to order. The waitresses were incredibly arrogant, we were about to get up and leave but we gave the kitchen a chance because as professionals we know not to judge a place by its service. The food was good, but the service left something to be desired, especially from the main waitress, who walked past us, glared at us, and slammed things on the next table. Luckily there were other people next to us who saw us being served and were also speechless. I strongly advise against stopping there to have a nice day as it is not a nice environment at all. It's better to order takeaway food.

Me and my wife love the food here and come here very regularly. The food has always come very quickly and tasted freshly cooked. Our absolute favorite menu is the Cambodian-style fried rice with chicken which is irresistible for us. The selection of menus is huge, but it's still easy to keep an overview. The staff always seems extremely friendly. Really a great restaurant and rightly one of our favorite restaurants! Definitely 5 stars!
