We needed a change from the typical food we’d been eating so we opted to try this place. Service was *very* slow as it looked like they were understaffed the evening we were there. The food was less than impressive in comparison to other Thai food we’ve had in the past. The curry lacked dimension while the pad thai noodles were a bit too saucy. Although the decor was pretty, the surcharge on the tap water was quite unexpected.

Wir bestellten am Freitag Abend über den Lieferdienst smood bei unserem Lieblingsthailänder. Der Lieferdienst versagte auf der ganzen Linie: Offenbar wurde das Essen zwar bei Suban (nach 2 Std!) abgeholt, jedoch wurden wir nicht beliefert. Suban kochte das Essen für uns nochmal neu und es wurde eigenhändig ausgeliefert, inkl. Gratis Ice Tee als Entschädigung. Kundenservice steht hier gross geschrieben, vielen Dank! Natürlich war auch das Essen wieder einmal top, gerne immer wieder.

Das Essen war bisher immer sehr gut und das Team vor Ort freundlich. Leider darf ich als Kunde nun nicht mehr vor Ort essen und muss eine Bestellung aufgeben. Vielleicht sollte das Team vom Suban mit weniger Kurierdiensten zusammenarbeiten. Bei Velokurier Bern wird eine Lieferzeit bis 60 Minuten angegeben, bei Smood 30 Minuten. Ich durfte aber 120 Minuten warten. Natürlich war das Essen dann auch entsprechend in der Temperatur und ich durfte es selber noch in die Pfanne hauen. Dafür das ich eigentlich die Küche nicht aufräumen wollte, zahle ich nun einen stolzen Preis. Auch wenn man vom Erfolg überrumpelt wird, es ist schliesslich nicht das erste Mal, darf man nach Lösungen für as Problem suchen. Ich als Kunde bin dann mal weg.

Einer der besten Thai wo ich je gegessen habe, und da war ich schon bisschen in der Welt unterwegs;-). Mit größter Sorgfalt zubereitet, frisch gekocht, lecker, gute Portionen, freundliche Bedienung und günstig. Meine Lieblingsadresse was Restaurants in Bern angeht!
