Subway in Lugano

Good sandwich 👍🥪 only criticism that the soap in the bathroom is always empty (to be refilled)

As a person who likes to eat at Subway, I will absolutely never visit a Subway again. I was there yesterday with my girlfriend and we sat down at the entrance to charge our cell phones. The plan was to wait for our friend and break our fast at Subway. But the employee cheekily grumbled at us and said we weren't allowed to charge our cell phones if we weren't customers. We then told him that we were going to buy something here straight away and that we were waiting for a friend. Together with another older employee, the man threw us out of Subway. I am a customer, can't I wait for my friend and charge my cell phone in the meantime? Do I have to order something as soon as I enter the store even if I'm fasting on Ramadan? This was a very humiliating and disappointing situation that I honestly have never experienced as a customer in any other restaurant before. I will never go to a Subway again!

Everything delicious, fresh and high quality! The owners are always available and very kind! I always go on my lunch break and the queue is moving. I love it!

I went there a few days ago for the first time. Clean and minimal environment with a wide choice. I got a sandwich with meat, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers. Very good The drink was free and unlimited for students. Reasonable price for what I ate. Advised

Went with my family, I accidentally bought a sandwich that I couldn't eat and it's not nice to pay for something that you have to throw away. That served me did nothing. And your answer is :"Don't come back"... Congratulations for your professionalism!

Very generous sandwiches, well filled and tasty, you can compose them to your liking by choosing from the ingredients available and there are also vegan variants. The bread is very soft and available in various types. For drinks there is a free-refill option.

Best fast food in Lugano for Vegans

I'm a repeat offender, every now and then I fall for it... and every time I think how it is possible to produce a bread of such low value, soggy, strange, pre-cooked which satisfies neither taste nor touch... with all the excellent bakeries found in Lugano, why go to this place to eat?

It has become a ritual to come here for breakfast. It's like being with family

I don't often (very rarely) will give feedback for food outlets. But Subway Lugano was the best subway I have been to around the world (I am from new zealand) , I was taken back at how friendly and professional the staff were especially the girl who served me . You rarely get this sort of service from 'fast food outlets'. And the sandwiches were made like how the pictures describe them , they were really nice! Hopefully I'll be back . Cheers !

Owner extremely rude to customers and also to his colleagues. I was there today and I refused to eat in such an environment. Upon arrival I ask for the menu of the day and the answer "there isn't any today, it's late and we're tired" (1 hour before closing), embarrassed I ask another person to order, the same one as before replies " no no, you didn't understand that we don't want to do his bidding, thus leaving the girl embarrassed. I deleted everything and off I went to another place. Too bad, I like SubWay but I'll never go back there again.

Ridiculous quantity/price ratio

Stopped by on Monday afternoon, I must say really comfortable and nice, in Veneto we don't have a fast food restaurant of this type and it's really a nice thing to be able to choose the ingredients in a personalized way. Sandwich made on the spot, good choice of ingredients and bread and also some truly delicious cookies. The "infinite" refill to drink when you take a menu is also convenient, another very nice thing is that there is a sandwich of the day for every day of the week. Even the very nice and helpful salesman, top 💪

Owner is arrogant and rude. He has no knowledge whatsoever of what a real subway is. We have been to several subways around the world including Switzerland itself in Geneva and we have always found products that subways do. However, the owner is not aware of what subway is and told us that here in Lugano it is like this... just as he has set it up. Lack of products. Very few choices... 2 types of bread of your choice, 2 sweets. Vegetables in the trays don't look good... they look like they were recycled from last day. I strongly advise against it!!!!!!

I always love subway sandwiches. It’s new restaurant in Lugano . Before that I always used to eat McDonald’s Lugano because I am vegetarian so when ever I wants to eat vegetarian burger I always go there. But this time I select subway. It was amazing . Nice ambiance. Helping staff. Fresh food . I love it . Must try .

Very good sandwiches, I like the fact that I can choose every single ingredient. The only flaw is the price which is significantly higher than that of the competition (CHF 16 for a medium sandwich).
