Summer Beach Bern in Bern

Nice holiday atmosphere in the middle of Bern, it's a shame that there isn't another option for eating!

It was very nice there, but too crowded and too many people, so that you were almost standing on top of each other and more people kept coming in. FOOD and drink too expensive. Otherwise had a very nice evening..

Very nicely made & comfortable. There were beans on the nachos, but unfortunately this was not declared on the board. However, the portion of nachos was really large for the price. I find the drinks rather expensive, 6.- for an ice tea. But the atmosphere is really great.

It used to be a great place, but you're just being ripped off. The drinks are way too overpriced, the music (if you can call it that) is way too loud and unnecessary, worst of all, Pepsi is served, this is an absolute no-go!!!! and to charge 7 Fr for it, shopping is certainly not more than 1 Fr. You don't have to explain the prices, they are clearly more expensive than in the city. It was definitely the last time I was there. The view and location would be great, you should definitely change the following, lower prices, no music and serve Coca-Cola!!!

The place is great. It really seems like a beach lounge. There is no fee entrance. Entrance is gratis. At some point of the night there is a long line to buy drinks but if you arrive early this is not a problem. Highly recommended for get a drinks there and feel the beach atmosphere.

I'm from Australia, they made me feel important and accommodated my needs e.g took care of my heavy bag while i enjoyed a few coldies in this mild summer night!

Cool location, depending on the company it may take a little longer for the drinks. 30 minutes for nachos, even if they were very tasty, is a bit long, so only 3 stars for that.

I like Summer Beach because there is usually room for larger groups if you meet up for a beer after work. The prices are very high and the music is a bit too loud, so one star is deducted.

Now whether anyone likes this place is a matter of taste... in any case, 10 horses won't bring me in there... But what definitely bothers me as a resident of Länggasse is the noise level. I can't understand how the city can approve such loud (and bad) music. The noise emissions can be heard throughout the entire district.

It says open, 40 minute drive to get there and it's closed. Update the site better.

Lounge Reserved for 12 people, 2 people canceled but we hardly had any space. We were informed in advance which lounge would be suitable for so many people. If I make a reservation, I also expect service at the lounge. In my opinion, the staff was very unfriendly, the prices were definitely too expensive for the quality of the drinks. Won't recommend it.

Cool location directly above Bern train station. Various seating options, live DJ and several bars. Entry is free, but the drink prices are extremely high.

Beautiful location. But the drinks are at the upper price level.

The fries were top notch, crispy and perfectly salted like at McDonalds. The staff was very friendly 4/5 points. The bar, on the other hand, was a huge battlefield with sugar spread all over the counter and everything sticky from spilled drinks, plus the overpriced prices. 2/5 points Conclusion: Restaurant top, bar flop

We ordered a burger with fries and couldn't eat it because we had to watch the sweat falling from the forehead of the guy who prepared the burgers onto the fries. Simply disgusting and inedible. Once and never again!!!

This is actually my favorite place but since this year there has been a DJ who plays music that is way too loud. You can hardly have a conversation. In previous years it was always a place to relax but now it is anything but that.

Nice atmosphere! Ugly drinks at an overpriced price

I'm currently writing from summer beach. Extremely bad service and want to rip you off on top of that. The “bartender” was totally drunk and couldn’t understand anything. asked me 4 times what I wanted and it was only 2 drinks. I had to pay 22 CHF and entered 45 CHF into the card reader and simply took the card and scanned it for me. When I asked him about it, he also claimed that I hadn't paid at all and that I shouldn't "stress" (his words). I then told my bartender colleague and he wasn't much help either and after a lot of back and forth he gave me part of the amount back but still not what I wanted. I was about to call the police because something like that is in the bottom drawer! don't serve real drinks, gamble and let drunk employees work...NO GO!!! Not a place to recommend...it was definitely the last time there!

It's a shame you can't give zero stars. I had the "bouncer" grab me by the arm twice and push me out of the way just for expressing my opinion. I had reserved a lounge for 100.00 (totally overpriced) and had to wait 30 minutes outside at 6 p.m. even though the game was already on. I think if I were a man, the good Lord wouldn't have tackled me. I hope you don't just have one person at the entrance for the Switzerland-Spain game on Friday and manage to let people in on time.

Unfortunately very poorly organized. You have to queue forever and wait for drinks and food. Reservation of the lounge for 100.- is overpriced and in bad weather you are rather rudely evicted. Our lounge was also given away twice!!! "It's probably not necessary... we won't be coming back.

Admission is officially “FREE”, but they have found a way to enrich themselves with their customers. You simply take money per chair at the European Championship football game even though the chairs are in the blazing sun without a parasol or for an overpriced lounge for 100.00 francs without any gastronomic consideration. You cannot pass on the costs of the infrastructure to the customer. Free is something else Such an attitude is ridiculous.

Enjoy a drink on the ski jump with your feet in the sand... wonderful! Everything is covered in sand and you are surrounded by palm trees, a large fountain, a “sand bar”😆 and you can enjoy various drinks. Can recommend it to you😉

Totally expensive, but still awesome. Unfortunately you have to give CHF as a deposit per drink, and the drinks are also quite expensive, but otherwise it's great. Watch World Cup games on the big screen with friends or even have a business meeting with the World Cup atmosphere, it is one of the most beautiful places in Bern right at the end of the main train station. There's also a great view on top.

There are overpriced drinks and there really isn't much else to offer, but it's still always nice to enjoy a cool drink outside in the summer. I really like what they're doing with the ski jump.

We asked the lady who was in charge if there was any place free. She told us that some of the lounges are not reservated. So we were sitting there with some friends, waiting for the football game to begin. Then she came to us, that we have to leave the lounge, because a reservation came in.... So first it's free, but suddenly she gives the place to someone else?!? Doesn't works out for us. That was really rude. The price for one beer (8.- + 2.-deposit) is simply to much for this kinda bad service. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
