Sushi Shop in Genève

Spent 20.- for a half portion of yakisoba not incredible with 5 pieces of fried chicken probably frozen and what seems to be a mixture of frozen vegetables it's still very good.

1 hour delay in delivery. Now we can no longer contact the restaurant directly. that's wonderful. We have to call the hotline which is of course chargeable.

The day they will be able to make a complete order at sushi shop with ginger chopsticks and soy sauce. It will be miraculous.

Cozy setting, attentive and welcoming staff. Refined and delicious sushi. I recommend... 👌🏼

The experience was very bad. The chef is Indian, not Japanese, not even Asian, and the sushi is full of carrots instead of caviar, and the sushi is chicken, not fish! And the food is insanely overpriced

We have received expired merchandise. The Edamames were due on November 25th while our order was on November 26th. The merchandise looked unappetizing. Your quality control needs to be reviewed because if this happens with raw fish, it can be catastrophic. I wrote my review and despite this, no one came back to me to apologize or even make a commercial gesture. Not professional at all.

I was surprised by the speed of delivery and I loved the sushi which was still very fresh, I will definitely come back to eat there. I highly recommend!

Error in home delivery of desserts (iced moshis delivered instead of moshi as selected on the site). The desserts therefore melted in the fridge and could not be eaten. When we reported this, we received a response the next day asking us to submit a photo of the melted moshis... In all cases there was a delivery error. Disappointing sushi, very little salmon and very small. It's very expensive for what it is. The quality has changed a lot, we can even say that it has deteriorated. The sweet soy sauce that I loved and which was very thick today is like diluted with water and has no taste. Very disappointed I won't go again. I recommend sushideli in Plainpalais, it’s the best in Geneva and the quality is really exponential!!

Outraged by my delivery experience with Sushi Shop. The delivery man, not knowing French, made several errors on the amount of my order. Losing patience with the difficult communication and possible aggression, I took my order home. An hour later, the delivery man returned, knocking and ringing insistently for 20 minutes, eventually entering without invitation. Fortunately, the presence of my dog ​​dissuaded him. I immediately contacted the manager, but no business action was taken, and his reaction over the phone was almost mocking. How can we minimize a home intrusion to this extent? Where is the professionalism? It is a scandal ! It is crucial to be careful of delivery drivers potentially hired under the table, undocumented, aggressive and who do not speak French, who can enter your home without invitation. This is all the more worrying given our situation in Switzerland. Of course, a complaint was filed. I am now traumatized and locked in my house. What seems most shocking to me in this situation is the lack of reaction from the manager and the total absence of any commercial gesture, which would be, at the very least, the least we can do after such a scandal.

Sushi is overpriced and not yummy at all with a bland a mushy consistency which is very unexpected as I have eaten in one of there branches before and it was good. However on the bright side the staff was friendly and efficient and when I complained offered to give me a refund or remake the sushi. I had no time to have it remade so I simply accepted the refund and left. Will not be returning.

The waitress asked us when we ordered if the meal was to eat in or to be taken away and we preferred the 2nd option. Unfortunately our sushi was served to us in boxes which spoiled our tasting. The fast food atmosphere is not only outdated but also harmful. We have the feeling that we have to consume quickly and leave again.

Sushi was below average. You order and get packaging like you would get to take away. Ginger is packed in plastic bags. Soy sauce in plastic bottles. Not a great experience.

Order sushi. We opened the box when we arrived, it literally stank of not fresh fish (salmon, maki, California) First time this has happened to us in a sushi restaurant, big lack of seriousness and the health of the customers!. 83frs straight into the trash. Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. I gave 4 stars, because this experience is unfortunately not constant. On my last two orders, the sushi had much less garnish and was really not pretty even though I had taken the beautiful Mori Sako box for a celebration. The delivery people are always very friendly, however my order arrived 12 minutes after the estimate. There's no problem, but I appreciate it when other restaurants call me to say they're running late.

Fresh food, quick and practical service, ok prices for Geneva. It's not excellent Japanese, it's fast food, but freshly made, honest. Yes, I would go again, it served us well. We were walking so it was quick, good value for money, light and delicious.

Get the salmon lover box, very yummy. Choosing your own rolls is not worth the price for the small portions.

I do not recommend this shop… unpleasant waitress, does not listen to the customer's request… wrong order and very little garnish for the poke ball, missing soy sauce style accompaniments, wasabi… order for 2 people and only one pair of baguettes , no towel, the telephone number does not work, there are much better elsewhere….

Extremely disappointed by the very average quality of the sushi with little taste and the Miso soup which tastes like viandox. As the price is prohibitive, it is better to go to Saint Julien for sushi that is half the price and of very good quality. Too bad it will be the first and last experience. Too bad I love sushi.

Fish is not fresh and was smelling funny, the rice was hard and not consistent (the pieces kept falling apartment when we tried to hold them with the chopsticks). Also the order didn’t come with any sauces or wasabi, despite having asked for them. After making a complaint through the website of course no answer. Stay away from this place y’all.

Tonight, last time we ordered from this address! The sushi is excellent, too bad! The service, on the contrary, is deplorable! Every time they forget part of your order. When you contact them they are arrogant and blame you! The organization should seriously be reviewed as soon as possible! We will not order again, there are plenty of alternatives in Geneva!

The food is ok, nothing amazing, and I think that it is a bit pricey for what it is.

The sharing box is always a great choice for variety. The signature rolls are delicious. Fast delivery and staff always attentive.

I don't understand the people who still enjoy these restaurants. Just a fashion effect in my opinion. If you want to continue to supply these slot machines, it's up to you, but there are other caterers that are much better, fresher, better stocked, less expensive and in a more human atmosphere ;)

I interacted with this Sushi Shop a good year ago, in connection with a delivery job for which I had applied. My interlocutor quickly appeared dry and vindictive. Another person from the delivery world – a world I know – confirmed these impressions concerning this point of sale. Please know, dear customers, that the precious scooterists who deliver to you are a priori mistreated (and paid little) when they work in this restaurant.

Second time getting a box for two. The sushi had very little fish, in many just a thin sliver. The tuna has been dry both times.

Frozen gyozas, sushi from midday, chicken teriyaki cold and unknown when it was cooked. Not worth the price.

Sushi was good. Not all staff know english. A little bit pricey but worth it.

Had better sushi but its not that bad. Price seem to be OP(?) would’ve gotten cheaper somewhere else. Very generous with soy sauce and wasabi tho. Staff knew English and helpful.

Today Wednesday 12:30 p.m., I arrive at the restaurant. The fridge is completely empty. The waitress is astonished at my astonishment and tells me that I will have to wait around 20 minutes “for production” if I wish to order… How to say? :-D

Ashame as sushi decreased on quality. I’m an old client and it’s sad to see that even rice(!) used are wrong one. So it become worst that buying suchi in supermarket. Very pity.

The sushi was really poor quality. For the high price, we expect a certain quality. The food was not fresh and the sushi was very poorly stocked.

I placed an order for two, to eat at the office with a friend for her birthday, I have never been so ashamed to invite someone & receive sushi in a pitiful state & rotten tuna!!!! 1 baguette, 1 soy sauce, 1 napkin for two people and no spoon for the soup, even though I chose these options on the site. I'm a fan of the Sushishop in certain cities in France and I had good memories of the sushi in the old town but the George-Favon restaurant, clearly your sushi doesn't live up to the brand. Never again!

I am not at all happy with the customer service and support. I ordered (for 18 people) on the mysushi shop direct website to be able to choose the date and time of delivery because the other “food delivery” platforms do not deliver before 11:45 a.m. I placed the order on Wednesday September 8th for delivery on Monday September 13th at 11:45am sharp, which gives them 5 days to be informed of the large order I will be placing. Giving all the information about our order, I was informed 15 minutes after the scheduled time that our order would be another 30 minutes late to be delivered, and in the end it took 1 hour after the scheduled time (delivered to 12:45 p.m.). This is not at all acceptable and we are not happy at all!! We have guests and meetings planned and this inconvenience disrupts our schedule. This error cannot happen with all the time we gave you to fulfill our order on time.

Industrial sushi, without tradition but quite good, not very varied (always the same things which come in California, maki and spring roll, the "signature" sort of hybrid which makes no sense, it's more and more fast food) Now it's angry: I received (late) a box (25.-) of salmon sashimi (I don't like it), I had ordered tuna. So far it's happening, where it goes wrong is that I go this afternoon to the shop that delivered to me, because the phone number displayed in the app. Does not work. I am received with disdain by the saleswoman who looks at me with half-closed eyes and responds with silence until I finally realize that I have to write this by e-mail. Guess: impossible to find an email! Very disappointing in addition to being industrial production, I will probably never go back there again with pleasure.

Very good and the team was friendly and professional. I just regretted that, at 12:15 p.m., there were "only" 3 formulas immediately available in the fridge and that we had to wait at least 20 minutes for all other orders.

The sushi was amazing! The salmon rolls with cream cheese were perfect. The staff were friendly, and my order was properly packed for pick-up. The fish layer was a bit thin, and there was much rice than a typical Japanese sushi, but the overall experience was good. I wil definitely come back foe it

Huge menu! Quality outstanding..

I have been waiting for my order for over 2 hours. This is totally unexceptionable. I would like to leave a very negative review and demand for some compensation on my side. I did not eat for an entire day and decided to choose this shop over any other, this was a massive mistake...The images clearly show that i waited for the order for over 2 hours.

Quality of sushi not the best!! And the manager behind the cash register is really unpleasant, which is a shame.

Ordered large portions, received average. never again. you cannot call to cancel your order if your delivery is too late. no information from the company to announce a delay.

Good but a little dry, sushi time is of better quality

Tiny sushi, overcooked rice with too much vinegar. And to make matters worse for sushi, the fish in many of them was not fresh, to the point where it stank. For the price they sell them for, it's a shame. There are much better sushi restaurants for much less money in Geneva.

I love the food and how fast the delivery service is. I put 4 stars because the website is terrible, I always have problems to order. Today I’ve had to do it with my phone and google chrome after trying with my pc on different browsers and also on my phone using safari. There were errors when I wanted to pay and then from pc it was o lot possible to order for the next day (it was 21:20 on a Wednesday). I’ve tried to call and the phone number doesn’t work... please improve this!! The rest is really good!!

If the delivery time has been considerably improved recently.... it is unfortunately to the detriment of the quality of the sushi! It's less and less good (plus most of the good sushi has been removed from the menu.

I ordered from the menu thinking it would be much better then taking one that was already boxed in the refrigerated display. I was surprised when it was delivered to my table just like this. Really low quality sushi roll. Even supermarket sushi taste better than this. Total was CHF29.40 - really not worth it. Didn’t realize it was a fast food joint. The photos on the in-store menu are really deceiving.

Hello everyone !! Ah the sushi. Meal more common in all countries of the world, but not all are equal. In fact, the sushi shop is not made for those looking for great Japanese gastronomy. The sushi is pre-prepared and its freshness sometimes leaves something to be desired. They (the suhis) are not bad but if you have already tasted them in more traditional places, they will leave you with an aftertaste of: "too bad I should have gone elsewhere". If you are not a gourmet this will suit you I think. The prices are "normal", the service is good and the setting is simple. Check it out to form your opinion.. now that you know mine.. Horrible service, 2 hours late for delivery, no warning and what's more, when we call to complain, the little student speaks to us in an arrogant and unprofessional manner. I speak for Georges Favon's service because I cannot be delivered by another shop....being a good customer I find it scandalous!! This store needs to be closed!!

Infamous poke bowl... half the ingredients were missing. No sesame, fish roe, or spicy sauce. The tuna had a metallic taste. Not to mention the presentation, a 5 year old could have done better. In short, avoided at all costs.

Nice and not too expensive, worth seeing

Delivery noted for 11:45 a.m. it is 11:52 a.m. and no news. Apparently they start delivering from 11:45 a.m. but on the site it says "your order will arrive at 11:45 a.m.".....

Very late delivery, very average Miso soup and above all, incomplete delivery! And I'm supposed to call a paid 0900 hotline to tell them THEIR mistake? Never. I contacted them via email and Facebook. Until I get a response, I'll leave 1 star!

Delivery extra late, no mean of communication. We don't know whether or not the delivery guy/girl will ever come. Still alive? I do not recommend that service. I know for a fact that you shall buy from Rive Sushi shop to get a better service. Stoll no food we are freaking starving.

Excellent sushi and wonderful atmosphere!

I like to come here with my relatives and can rely on being served properly. I found the offer extremely appealing. The chairs are very comfortable and I find the distance between the tables extremely appropriate. There you certainly don't get the feeling of dining like sardines in a can. For my part, I think my colleague and I have long since ordered up and down the entire menu. The meal was brought extremely quickly.

Place that I like. Good food presentation and also good sizes. It makes you want. It helps when you don't have a real Japanese restaurant nearby.
