SUSHI TENZAN in Basel

The two of us had momos with beef as a starter and then Hoso Maki Mix. Everything is freshly prepared and tastes that way too. It was my first time here and I will definitely come back. Highly Recommended !!!

Food is ok. Understaffed leading to slow, terrible service. Had to wait for about half an hour for sushi that never came. Some of their staff are rude. Can get crowded inside when there is no patio. Definitely not recommended.

Sushi Tenzan offered a pleasant experience with friendly service and a good ambience. It wasn't crowded which made the stay relaxing. The sushi itself was excellent, fresh and tasty. Overall, a recommended restaurant for sushi fans.

Cozy atmosphere with professional restoration. Very attentive employees. The food is wonderfully good and tasteful. The decor is simple and authentic and everything is very clean and tidy. The Tantan Men Ramen with Pork belly was incredible

Ate here with my boss on a work social as we often do Sushi together when we're in the same town. My boss is a sushi addict & also prepares his own. We had a mixed sushi menu 8 platter, rainbow 🌈 roll, and a mixed sashimi. The food was delicious, fresh & perfect temperature, with great attentive service. Popular place & well deserved business. Can only recommend & sets a high standard. Arigato Gozaimasu

Maybe use ramen from Tada Ramen, unfortunately the current ones are more like spaghetti... Pork belly could be spicier :)

Had take away sushi before, which was great. Ate there for the first time today. Service was a bit slow but very friendly. Got free edamame while waiting. We had miso ramen, which was extremely good. Never had ramen so good. Was sad when the plate was empty. Price/performance very fair. Will definitely come back.

Sushi Tenzan has been my “go-to place” for sushi in the Basel region for years. First in Binningen & now also in Gundeli. Quality has always been TOP and price/performance is also right. There is definitely no better sushi anywhere!

Chance upon "Sushi Tenzan" (Binningen branch) and thought of giving their Ramen a try since I was in Basel. As a soup lover, their Dan Dan Ramen did not disappoint. However, it was overly salty for me. Tried the same version in their Binningen branch and it tasted way better without overly salty.

Small but sufficient map. Friendly service. When the weather is nice you can sit outside. The portions are generous and the dishes are tasty. We will go again.

After living in Asia for many years, I was struggling with the lack of availability of decent Ramen in Basel. This Problem has now been resolved. Sushi tenzan is a great place with authentic food options to reasonable prices. I'll call myself a regular now.

Unfortunately, the selection of sushi is very limited and not “Japanese”. You won't find different nuances of soy sauce to match the fish. Unfortunately, the wasabi is not wasabi either. Unfortunately, you are once again being misled in a Japanese restaurant. Real sushi has so much potential, which is a shame.

So far my favorite ramen restaurant. Very authentic with great customer service. If you are going for lunch, I can also recommend the bento box menus as well.

Amazing Japanese restaurant that serves wonderful ramen! As a big fan of ramen who goes often to Japan (of course, for ramen 🍜) I'd say the ramen here is the best in Basel (or even in Switzerland!) So authentic. Staffs are very welcoming and friendly, we can't wait to come back and visit here again!

Best Japanese food in Basel! Tried the miso ramen (spicy with pork slices) (CHF 22.50) and Prawn Avocado Sushi lunch set menu (comes with miso soup) (CHF 19.50), and they were fresh and delicious. Excellent service and ambience as well. Thank you & we’ll be back!

Sashimi and sushi are freshly prepared and very tasty. We haven't tried ramen yet, but it's definitely not the last time we've been there

I already know him from Binningen and Klara. Best siushi in Basel. You won't find ramen of this quality anywhere else!
