Our first visit but it won't be the last, the food was very good, the chef was happy to accommodated a request from one of our party. The service was excellent, very friendly and helpful with food and wine selection. Even though tables were available on our visit I would recommend you make a reservation.

For me the best Pakistani/Indian restaurant in Bern. The staff is incredibly nice and the food is like a journey. My favorite dish is the Sindhi Biryani.

Easy to reach, by car or public transport, pleasant interior and a professional and approachable service. Not to mention the food is grandiose, for the lunch meals are served with a fine soup, the nan is fresh and soft, and the Lamm vindaloo is to die for~ For anyone looking for a marvelous Indian experience, go and have a bite here. I'm certainly visiting again.

The food portions are very small but the taste is fine. We came through a Fork booking expecting a discount but were told to pay the full price at the last minute. At the end it was sorted but inconvenience was caused.

A wonderful Pakistani restaurant with fantastic service, food and ambience. The owner enriched our experience with cultural information all the while we gazed at the beautiful photography on the walls of this lovely place. Stopped here on our way to Grindelwald from Geneva. Delicious paneer tikka and palak paneer. The paneer is soft and flavorful, like it is supposed to be. The palak was also full of flavor and the perfect amount of spice to make it enjoyable without being overwhelming. The raita and mango lassi were also spot on. I’m Indian so I know my desi food. So glad we found this place!

Very tasty food and not as heavy as other indian restaurants. Super friendly and fast service. They have a big choice of different lunch menus around 20.- My favorite so far!

What a wonderful meal. Everything was very delicious. The Aloo Gohst was tender and just the right spice to taste the flavors without your mouth getting hot. The Murg Tikka Masala also had perfectly cooked tender pieces of chicken. We also enjoyed lentils and spinach all satisfying and tasty. I highly recommend a visit. I know we will be returning.

Delicious and freshly made mains that never fails to satisfy. I’ve got to say it’s the best Pakistani/ Indian food I’ve had in the whole of Switzerland all these years. One doesn’t leave the restaurant suffering food coma from the usually heavy curries, but goes home feeling satisfied and looking forward to the next visit. I’m visiting Bern for 4 days. Didn’t expect to have some good Asian food here, then I found this one! The food is excellent and the owner is friendly.

I've eaten Indian food many times, but never this good. In addition, the service is very attentive and pleasant. I would definitely come back again. It's certainly not the cheapest restaurant, but the quality justifies the price. Thank you.

The manager's welcome was very warm - you felt welcome. It wasn't just a dinner, it was a culinary journey to the Indian/Pakistani regions! The freshness of the ingredients, the variety of spices and the tender meat from the Spahni Metzgerei... the story behind “Swaad” published on the homepage didn’t promise too much. A visit can only be warmly recommended. Great value for money, service friendly & attentive. We'd love to come back.
