The bar has a great, relaxed atmosphere and incredibly tasty, creative cocktails, such as a Santa Sour with mulled wine foam at Christmas time. The prices are moderate by Zurich standards, with cocktails at around 20 Fr.

If you know cocktails this is THE COCKTAIL BAR you want to go to! They'll make you one of their amazing creations or maybe an old classic that you read about in some crazy old cocktail book. 10 stars if I could!

The drinks are delicious and the bartenders are really friendly. In addition to the drinks, there are also a few delicious bites to eat. We had a currywurst and it was probably the best currywurst in Zurich! Absolutely recommended bar

The drinks menu is so huge and you can also express your preferences to get the perfect cocktail. All 6 of us were absolutely thrilled and will be happy to visit the restaurant again.

Easily one of the best cocktails bars in Zurich, with super interesting cocktails that always leave you wanting to try another one. Even if you don’t like anything from their extensive menu they will make a cocktail for you tailored to your tastes.

It's my favorite cocktail bar in Zürich. The cocktails are a bit pricey but they are definitely worth it. The service is very prompt and polite. They serve water and peanuts with your drinks and keep refilling them.

Overall I have never had any kind of bad experience here, everything was always great. Would definitely recommend to everybody.

The staff also deserve five stars; their sympathy and expertise contribute significantly to the positive overall impression. Since the bar is small, prior reservation is strongly recommended. The Tales Bar offers an all-round outstanding experience and definitely deserves five stars.

My favorite bar in Zürich. The staff is really kind and serves also water and some snacks once you order. The quality of the drinks is optimal and there is really wide range of drinks to choose from. Also, there are different glasses depending on the drink you choose. Given that it is not cheap, I can definitely recommend investing 2-4 CHF more to come here.

Definitely the best cocktails in Zurich!

I was in Zürich for a few days and decided to go to Tales Bar on a whim. I was happy the first time I went here and visited again the next evening! Talk about being a repeat customer on your very first visit! I asked for options based on my general likes, and I was served cocktails that were surprising and excellent! Water and nibbles are complementary. Mother-in-law is an amazing cocktail! Highly recommended if you like the classic Old Fashioned cocktail. Go for it! That was my first cocktail here and it set the expectations high up. And it kept going! The Tales Bar has a cosy, welcoming atmosphere, and conversation with the owners is easy and engaging. And the cocktails are superb! Go by the menu or off it — you will not be disappointed. I'm surely coming back here on my next visit to Zurich, even if I'm just passing through! Cheers!

One of my favorite bars in Zurich, never disappointed. Located directly near the casino. The hosts are really very relaxed, friendly and always give professional advice. The menu is well mixed with selected drinks. These are tasty and special with sometimes exciting presentation. The opening times have changed positively. So you can look forward to an after-work drink ;) I think a reservation for 2 people or more is recommended, as the bar is very busy and has limited capacity.

Always very busy, so be sure to reserve. The cocktails are wonderful and all freshly made with the best ingredients. Very friendly service who is also happy to give tips on drinks. With your meal you can order a wonderful platter with olives, cold cuts, bread and cheese. In addition, water is always refilled free of charge and snacks are refilled. Really my favorite bar in Zurich.

nice place but too rude waiters. refused to serve a friend's birthday when we were already at the bar placing an order. We didn't interfere with the clever ones, we drank our female company and they turned out to be sexists

Nice chic and cozy bar close to zrh central. Very friendly staff. Lots of virgin drink options as well. Their stuffed peppers were out of the world. Yumm....😋 I don't think the bar allows folks to smoke inside which was a big relief for the lungs.

Probably the best cocktail bar in town. The owners and staff are proud and care, and you feel it in every detail! First thing you get as a guest is complimentary water and nibbles, which is strangely uncommon in Zurich but, to me, shows that they want you there to enjoy good drinks, and not fleece you for being parched 😊 the drinks are amazing and you really notice that the staff working the bar are professionals. It's what a place like this is supposed to be run like. It can be a bit difficult to get in because it's usually packed, but it's no mystery why.

Great cocktails, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff! The menu is super long, so rather than leafing through it we told the bartender our general preferences and they recommended specific cocktails to each of us. It was great!

For me the best cocktail bar ever! It always tastes good! Unusual cocktails a la carte that you can't get everywhere. And if customers have special requests or are down-to-earth, they always help competently and mix the perfect cocktail. Super friendly service! Reservation in advance makes sense as it is always well attended. Unfortunately no branch in my current hometown :-(

Relatively expensive and I can also judge the quality of the cocktails based on my previous CV, where I can judge some cocktails that should taste the same all over the world, such as: A Gin Fizz, I observed fundamental errors in its production several times. What really struck me was the audience, sorry but all levels were snooty, arrogant and if you ever speak to someone normally, you are treated as if you were an extraterrestrial!! (I notice this in general in the city of Zurich.) Why are the people of Zurich so secretive? Even though I've been living here for almost 15 years, I've made various attempts to have a conversation with strangers. Quote: 70% ignore you or show you clearly that they don't want to know anything, 10% reject you in dev. Variants and the remaining 20% ​​ask you first or certainly second: "What can you do?"!!

Personally, I've only been there from the outside, but from what I read it seems like a good place to stop.

I wanted to go to Tales for some years now, well sometimes you need to be patient to get a reward. Tales is this incredible little, cosy, timeless cocktails bar. The concept is far away from the frantic run after the newest trend. Down here it’s leather, dark wood, jazz music, sit down only, a massive bar and some of the friendliest and skilled bar men in town (we had the pleasure to be served by Adrian). Classic and classy. You can go with the menu or let them conceive a unique cocktail for you based on your preferences. I started with a classic “One night in Paris”, wonderfully refreshing in the mouth, on the first summer night out just perfect. While my fiancé let Adrian make a custom cocktail based on Ardbeg and Portobello gin, a swish of lemon zest. A smoky martini of the house, which he enjoyed to the fullest. After followed a fantastic version of a Clover Club with Frangelico for me which I adored (this goes straight into my favs 🤩) and for monsieur a Mr. Bumblebee also whisky based, with honey cordial and wax which it’s his favorite. All in all, Tales got a 💯 from us in all aspects and we can’t wait to come back.
