Taste of Asia in Winterthur

The food is perfect, one of the best Thai restaurants I know. Had spring rolls as a starter, incredibly tasty. You have to expect a bit of a wait because everything is freshly cooked. The staff is very friendly and you immediately feel welcome. The restaurant is not very big, so it might be better to make a reservation.

Admittedly we waited about an hour, but it was more than worth it. Very, very good, fresh food and a very friendly one-woman shop!

There were four of us over lunch: - Papaya salad - Chicken salad - Chicken skewers (thigh meat, but good quality) - Spring rolls - Massaman and green curry with chicken - Pad King with beef - Stir fried with prawns Everything was great and no small portions. The first and definitely not the last time I ate there 😍. The beef was tender and very wholesome - this fact alone sets this restaurant apart from many others. And so that no one believes that this is a fake report, there is also something negative: even though everything was freshly prepared, we waited longer than other places. It is also not a luxury restaurant with fine furnishings. But it is by far one of the best Thai restaurants and probably the best in Winterthur (I haven't eaten at all of them yet).

We have been ordering from you very regularly for several months. But now we notice that the quality of the dishes is getting worse every time. The level of spiciness (5=super hot) that I always specify is strictly ignored. The food is not spicy at all...almost bland. I order the same dish every time and each time I get something with completely different ingredients. It almost looks like I'm getting whatever ingredients are left. Last time it had little to do with Thai. The vegetables that came with it were still raw... and almost no sauce... a dry affair. The ordering doesn't work anymore either...if I order the food 90 minutes in advance to pick up, I don't want to have to wait 20 minutes for it in your store.
