Tea-Room Martel in Le Grand-Saconnex

Rude waitress, small, unappetizing portions. Cappuccino is an americano with foam. Avoid if possible.

The service here was poor, I came for lunch with my girlfriend and couldn't get table service. We went to the counter and were treated very rudely by the waitress. We each ordered a sandwich which was pretty small but with an enormous portion of salad. Such a waste of food and very overpriced. Overall it was not an enjoyable experience. If you have to then come here, but if there's another cafe nearby that's not too busy then I'd try my chances there

Very happy to take a break here. Nice friendly and funny waiter. Nice clean modern establishment. Nice selection of pastries and cakes. Just be prepared as not cheap. A pint of lager and a small glass of wine will set you back around 16€. What do you expect at airports

Back from my trip I fell in love despite the 10 o'clock in the morning for a holy honor! No regrets ! It was a delight. The tea room is perfect for waiting for the train. Swiss prices but correct: 6.80 CHF le saint honore (same price on site or to take away)

The employee wasn't helpful. Maybe exhausted? Idk. But I didn't like the service here. I put 1 star for the food because I ordered a cake, but I never got it.

After adjusting my expectations for an airport: Place is nice enough, but I would need to think long and hard to remember ever having a worse cup of coffee, worse service, or higher prices (that bit would have been fine if the quality was at least average).

The waitress was incredibly rude when one of my friends complained because she didn’t get what she ordered. A latte costs 5 euros and the chocolate is pretty average for 6 euros a cup.

Once a great patisserie as I have been visiting for years. Now it is still good but seems to have lost the edge that makes it 5 star. This is still a very good place to visit upon arrival in Geneva and they have several more including the city and Carouge. The mini sandwich are particularly good with chicken, salmon, crab, mozzarella and tuna.

I live in Geneva and I have been many times at the Martel coffeeshop, waiting for friends and family. Qulity of products is very good, but service is extremely bad in the coffeeshop. They are slow to come at the table, slow to bring the bill and waiters/waitresses work like if they don't care at all. Very sad for a company lile Martel. Hirong people with cheaper salaries don't often improve quality of service/work. Martel, wake up !

Well received by the waitresses. Quality products and delicious homemade chocolate. Prices in line with other airport catering outlets.

The staff was friendly but not frustrating. A previous customer complained that they did not speak English, but I found that they understood me well enough. The prices are comparable to similar establishments in the airport. They have a bar, coffee and tea, and a bistro menu. My only complaint is that there was a small flying cockroach, completely out of their control. They handled it quickly and were embarrassed and apologetic. I found this moment a testament to their service.

First important thing :that the casers and waitress didn't speak or understand English, second :I have been wait to place the order around 20 minutes and at the end the cakes test doesn't worth all my attention I paid to them and time too

worst coffee ever. the coffee was totally bitter. When I told the lady that it is totally bitter because the temperature of their machine was too high, she just ignored me. After telling it a second time she just said: "yes I know that we have a problem with our coffee". so why do you sell crap coffee even if you know that your machine has a problem?
