Great place for burgers had the philly burger with ami fries one of the best burgers I have had . Will vist again next tome in rorschach.

Pleasantly positive surprise. We were just hungry and wanted to eat something and were surprised by one of the best burgers. The service is also very friendly and the prices for the lunch menu are terrific.

Although the restaurant offers Lunch Check as a payment method online, unfortunately it is not true. I pointed out to the waiter that he should please report this. There are better restaurants!

20 Stutz for a burger without a side dish - that's quite an announcement for a provincial town like Rohrschach.... not enough sauce, I would have preferred the rolls to be toasted, but they were burner fries.... quick service..

Menu was brought to us used and dirty (paper menu). Drinks were warm, I ordered an entrecote of 350g (usually it's 250g with an extra charge of 15.90 francs. You get 100g in addition) The entrecote consisted of 100g only of fat! The extra charge I paid was just fat! As a side dish I had chilli cheese fries which were O.K. very disappointed with this store is not clear for such prices!

Cool decor and good service. I took the chicken burger and the chilli cheese fries as sides. Personally, I would have liked a larger portion of fries for the hefty price of 8Fr. The chicken burger itself was good but I expected panco breading from the description, which wasn't the case. I would also switch from a ranch sauce to a bbq for the burger. It just didn't go well with the chicken at all.

I can only recommend The Ami. For me it's definitely worth a visit every time I visit Rorschach. The burgers taste delicious

Very unfortunate. Not only are ingredients forgotten, but if you leave half of them on your plate, no one will care. There is also no question as to whether everything tasted good. It hurts me to give this review. Especially because it was different. But I see how the store is doing worse year after year. 6 years of development.

The burgers are good as always, but the service quality has steadily declined and is currently at a low point. If you want to spend 3 hours in a restaurant for a burger without starter/dessert, AMI is the right place for you. Sad but unfortunately true...

It used to be a top burger joint, but unfortunately the service is now catastrophic. Waited over an hour for the food and then you noticed that it no longer had all the necessary ingredients and then asked if you wanted something else without anything being cooked at all. Was about the 50th and unfortunately the last visit, as not only this but also the last five visits were unsatisfactory.

I only heard good things about the restaurant but was massively disappointed. After we were finally able to order after a long wait, after almost an hour we were informed that the burgers had not yet been prepared. All guests followed and were served more quickly. Service was totally disappointing.

The three of us spontaneously went to dinner at TheAmi. Great onion rings with whole onion slices not like others just onion paste. Fries with burger were great and the amount of sauce was perfect. Directly at the Rorschach Hafen train station with a view of Lake Constance

Beautiful restaurant located on the lake, beautifully furnished and easily accessible by train/bus, also easily accessible by car, parking garage nearby. I was there for the first time today and was very excited about the food. The table reservation went perfectly, even though we were unfortunately held up by the evening traffic. We were there for dinner on Wednesday, i.e. during the week, right when the restaurant opened in the evening, not at lunchtime or at rush hour on the weekend. The staff was really very friendly and assigned us a table straight away and then we were allowed to order the drinks, which came relatively quickly. Ordering the food was also relatively quick (1x starter/mixed salad and two burgers with fries). The food itself was very tasty and the price/performance ratio was ok. The biggest point of criticism (but should be understood as constructive criticism) was and is the time from ordering to delivery. The salad came about 15 minutes after ordering, which was ok, but the burgers only came after 60 minutes and as I said it wasn't rush hour or the restaurant was completely full, then it would be more understandable. Other guests who arrived at the restaurant after us and ordered received their food before ours, which from my point of view somehow doesn't work anymore. Unfortunately, I can't judge whether and how this is the case on other days, but unfortunately this clouds things the experience very much.

We traveled with the family from Dornbirn with an online table reservation! After 45 minutes of waiting, we asked what was going on with our order! We got the answer, it's already on the way! Three tables that arrived at the restaurant at least 20 minutes after us! They had all received their orders for a long time! After an hour of waiting, the nachos arrived! Unfortunately I can't recommend it! It used to be much better! If only it had tasted good!

Food good and fast and friendly.

I haven't been to Ami for half a year for the following reasons. Ambience is cool and modern. This would be an inviting point. Eat: I think the food tastes good. But if I get a cold burger with lukewarm fries (for the second time in a row) that's a reason for me not to come back. Staff: Ordering and table service were good. But having to wait half an hour for the bill is definitely too long. We were about to enter the address so we could have an invoice sent to our home.

Super delicious food, nice atmosphere

Deep fried food at it's best! Healthy alternatives are rare but this is a conscious choice. Some starters to share and a veggie burger was my choice of the day. Very well made fast food and American diner atmosphere. I would love to see other veggie or vegan alternatives that are not soy based.

Food was good, but it wasn't enough for each of us (4 people). Stars deducted because a dog was directly 2 meters from us (inside the restaurant). FOR HYGIENIC REASONS A DOG HAS NOTHING TO LOOK WHERE YOU EAT!!!

They used to be the best burgers in the area but unfortunately for the past 1-2 years the burgers have been nothing special and unfortunately the taste is no longer that tasty either. Don't know if there's a new owner or the owner isn't there much anymore but the burgers aren't what they used to be. A pity

Recently had a meal here for the first time with a customer. I ordered the chicken burger. Very well balanced in terms of taste. The bun is super fluffy and tastes crunchy and malty. The chicken meat is very delicately marinated. Fresh and crunchy vegetables complete the perfect bite. The service staff is courteous and friendly. Finally, the view of Lake Constance is outstanding. Absolute recommendation and also very fair in terms of price!

Best place in Rorasch. Can't go wrong with any items on menu. Premium taste for very fair prices, great vibe, great service. Thank you Ami, we'll be back!!

Exceeded all my expectations!! The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, the food was out of this world. I am so happy we found this spot! Love to be back again.

There were 8 of us there at lunchtime and we had really good burgers. Great burger bun and the meat was very good! The service was friendly and everything was coordinated very well. The food came in a reasonable amount of time, unfortunately not all at the same time, but without much delay. If you like eating good burgers, this is the place for you! I especially enjoyed the chicken wings. I think it wasn't the last time we were there. Price-performance is really great.

Food was great, beside the vegi burger.....just plain tofu in alot of oil with a crist effect, but taste very bland.. Also great service and a beautiful restaurant!

Best burger shop far and wide, a real recommendation. It's a shame that you can't see the restaurant from the street, a sign on the street might help. We came across it after a friend recommended it. Be sure to reserve on the weekend, very busy. We are already looking forward to the next visits! Keep it up!

In terms of taste, we are definitely used to something different from American. Not comparable to the beginning. Very unfortunate.

Horrible service, long waiting times and the service staff is rude and obviously xenophobic if you don't speak Swiss German. Prices overpriced for such poor performance. Conclusion NOT recommended!

Had a spontaneous lunch here today. The food was served about 10 minutes after ordering. The BADASS burger was awesome! The meat is fried until pink and fluffy. The ingredients are not dominant. By far the best burger I was able to enjoy. The service team is also top. A must visit next time you are in this area.

Was at THE AMI on Saturday evening. Even though we didn't make a reservation and there were quite a few guests, we were able to sit down and order very quickly. The food was very tasty and you could tell that it was homemade. The service and the owner were always friendly and accommodating. I found the price to be fair. Would come again for me there are 5 stars for this visit.

Did not like it. Burger was tasty but not enough fries. They're also very frugal with handing out ketchup an mayo. The guacamole didn't really taste like anything. Staff was friendly but overstrained and a bit unprofessional. Ordered an Espresso after the dinner that never came. Will not go again and wouldn't recommend.
