The Butcher Dietlikon in Dietlikon

Food was nothing special. The service is there and the ambience is not my taste. We were there on Sunday evening at 7:45 p.m. and there were actually 6 tables occupied. The music in the kitchen was so loud that unfortunately the music in the restaurant could hardly be heard. I think in the future I'll join the party in the kitchen.

It's a shame that you can't pay in cash, the staff is friendly and attentive, but I like having a physical menu in my hand and ordering verbally from the staff, I can't do anything with the interactive gimmicks. But the burger was okay and the fries tasted delicious.

Fine restaurant in a cozy (but loud) atmosphere right next to the Pathe cinema - ideal for eating before the cinema. Friendly, fast service and a large selection of delicious finger food. Ordering system via tablet was not so well received!

Stopped here for a bite before going to IKEA. The staff were very nice, however the food was not very good. The salad contained some undercooked chicken, old looking corn and basil. The ingredients didn’t taste fresh at all. Also, the lady that brought us the food had very long nails and one of them was inside the salad. I completely understand as a woman that we want pretty nails, just please make sure you don’t stick them inside people’s food. It is very unhygienic. The burger was okay, but usually burgers are served with a side. Here, you need to order a side, otherwise you get nothing next to it.

Basically everything is ok. The waitress was friendly, but forgot to bring the ketchup afterwards. Food came quickly. Unfortunately the food was just mediocre. The cheese was forgotten in the burger we put together, but of course it was on the bill. The Sweet Patatoes Fries were a bit light. Just not good enough for the price you have to pay.

The ordering process was very complicated. We had already ordered via the app, but we didn't receive some items, which were then recorded again by the waitress. In the end there was a huge mess. Food very expensive e.g. a small portion of truffle fries for 11.- :-( Price/performance is not right. A pity.

Service was absolutely fantastic along with the fries however the burger is really disappointing for a burger restaurant. The toppings and bun are absolutely fine but the meat is really poor. The meat is firstly grind very fine or very compressed which results in a texture like leberkase. Secondly, there is essentially no caramelization which you can see from the photo which makes is extremely bland and thirdly the meat genuinely tastes really poor and I believe there is no fat incorporated which dries out the meat. Wanted to love it when I walked in as the staff is great, but the burger is genuinely bad for 19 CHF.

Waiting time for food approx. 1 hour Waiting time to pay approx. 1 hour (cash payment not possible) Then a 7% tip is required for the miserable service and if you refuse the tip, you will be told that he is not dependent on the 2 Stutz. Absolutely not recommended.

It's a shame the restaurant is no longer open at lunchtime. This was a good alternative to have a gluten-free lunch in the area.

The staff was actually nice, they didn't want to let us in at first (lack of staff), but there weren't that many guests there. The fries were probably the worst I've ever eaten (not cooked through and extremely soggy + not recommended in terms of taste), to be honest the ones from McDonald's are better, the burger was ok. Staff tried to improve the fries, but they weren't any better. So far I haven't had a tasty meal at any Butcher, with the exception of the dessert (I think it's good).

The burgers are below average and the quality of the meat is not particularly good. There was also a serious lack of seasoning, especially salt. The selection is not particularly exciting. Our food (emphasis: the side dishes) came to the table almost cold and didn't taste fresh. Plus, we all spoiled our stomachs. The fact that there is no real mayonnaise (just some veggie substitute) rounds off the rather underwhelming overall impression. The restaurant has a nice, hipster-typical design, but is sometimes a bit cheap and almost shabby. The waitress was friendly, but seemed very distracted and not very interested in the actual work.

I wanted to go out for a drink with my girlfriend during the week, but we couldn't go in after 9:20 p.m. because the cash register was supposedly already closed. 'THE OPENING HOURS SHOW WHAT'S TOTALLY DIFFERENT.' RUDE AND SIMPLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Really delicious burgers! After our visit to the cinema we were guests at The Butcher. The Wiesners really have an eye for great facilities. I like the concept of ordering and paying via mobile phone. The employees were very nice and prompt. The food arrived within a few minutes. Convincing taste. Even the fries! Price/performance is also right. We will definitely come back 👍

Unfortunately this restaurant only deserves one star because they boycott cash. We would have liked to order some burgers from you. The menu can also only be viewed via QR code on the cell phone, you should give the customer the choice to decide for themselves how they want to pay.

Very nicely decorated. But I would particularly like to emphasize the friendliness of the staff. We were amazed at how accommodating everyone was. We'd love to come back.

Small portions for big prices. Everything is ordered via app. At the beginning you are practically pressured to order quickly, after that no one shows up. Very impersonal. The burgers taste good, as does the ambience. Otherwise no recommendation.

When we were brought to the table, we waited a while for someone to take our order. The employees didn't feel addressed and strutted past us. A few more minutes went by as no one wanted to take our order. Very bad service!

Every time we go to the cinema we eat at the Butcher before or after. Sometimes 2-3 times a month for years and we have always been satisfied. The restaurant has recently gone cashless and you can order and pay online. My girlfriend ordered another espresso and then we paid. The tip is automatically set to 10% and you can change it manually. We both gave 10% each. Shortly afterwards we heard the service staff complaining that there wasn't enough and the espresso was deliberately not brought! When we said something they brought him and then there was loud blasphemy right next to us. Are you crazy?! For coming to the table twice and bringing food and drink, the 10% is probably appropriate. It may well be that you gave more cash beforehand, but it's not our fault that it was changed. Not very nice if you take your anger out on the customer. We're thinking about eating there again because it was really unpleasant!

I love this place for good food and a cool atmosphere.

Unfortunately, this restaurant has changed for the worse. It was with great regret that we discovered that the chef had switched to vegetarian cuisine. What a mockery the name of this establishment is! The burger was overcooked and dry. No comparison to before! The selection of "meat" ingredients is more or less limited to two/three different types. And Angry Chicken is no longer there either. Conclusion: we probably have to look for another restaurant with good burgers... Unfortunately

Great atmosphere, friendly service. We tried the planted burgers, but unfortunately they were too dry and there was almost no mango chutney or sauerkraut, etc. We ordered extra sauce again (the BBQ then came) then they were quite okay, but we still had to pay for the sauces separately.

The meat from the burger was of very poor quality and unseasoned, you bite on nerves and cartilage. When it comes to a burger, the most important thing is that the quality of the meat is right. You can really save money.

As always, very fine Unfortunately there are no more chicken wings.

Everything was ok, the only criticism is that all of our burgers were only lukewarm when they were brought to our table.

Nice and modern, but very expensive

Really good burgers from veggies to classic beef in a really cool atmosphere and served by really nice staff. There were eight of us there and EVERYONE (carnivores and vegetarians :) ) really liked it. So it's 5 stars and a big thank you to The Butcher Dietlikon!

We were incredibly positively surprised by the selection of drinks, the delicious food and the well-prepared service. The offer was great and we will definitely come back.

The meat was well done instead of medium and too bland. Fries are ok but relatively too expensive. Coleslaw had too many greens in it. Listing was burger with bacon, this was completely missing. Attention, lavender soap is not recommended in the toilet because it smells like vomit...

Service a disaster! We wanted to order drinks and food and asked the waitress if they had any other soft drinks besides Coke Zero, so she just ran away and we waited 20 minutes until someone came.

Maybe you eat well in the restaurant but not recommended for take away. Unfortunately disappointing.

The food we ordered was already cold when it was delivered. The burgers contained ingredients that they should have left out according to the order (cheese, onions). Other ingredients differed in type and quality, such as pickled cabbage instead of coleslaw. The fries were dry and the truffle sauce tasted like regular mayo. Overall very disappointing!

We ordered food from the machine in front of the entrance. Unfortunately we didn't realize that this was takeaway food. We would have liked to eat inside in the restaurant. Unfortunately, despite talking and offering to pay an extra price, we couldn't eat inside. then we waited 25 minutes for the food. The burger was only lukewarm. And the meat from the salad too. We didn't finish it. Unfortunately not a nice experience. We won't go there anymore. However, the staff was friendly and the restaurant is beautifully decorated

Unfortunately an order went missing. There were three of us. By the time the third burger was served, the other two had already finished eating.

The service was very friendly and quick, the food was also very good as were the drinks. However, prices are a bit high.

A wonderful place that is a good successor to its predecessor. The service, the young lady and the young gentleman take excellent care of the customers. I'd love to come back. Even if I want to lose weight, a good burger before going to the cinema is a good idea... you can have a wonderful evening... I'd love to do it again. I feel comfortable here...

The food is generally good but very expensive. The dessert menu is very poor and again overpriced. I recently had a drink with my colleague and we spent 11Fr. for 1l. Paid carafe is simply overpriced for water. A 1.5l 6-pack of Valserwasser costs 6.90 in the coop. We asked the operator how it could be that tap water could cost so much. She said it wasn't tap water, which still didn't justify the price as shown earlier. She apologized but didn't make it any better, it was just cheeky to ask for so much. I won't go to the restaurant anymore because it's too expensive because you get a lot more for these prices at Burger King or McDonald's and they taste as good as the Butcher. When paying with Twint you have to be careful, they automatically add a 10% tip. You have to deselect it in order to leave a tip or no tip. 10% is just too much in Switzerland. The employees have their fixed wages and are not dependent on tips. I don't tip anyone I want to because I accidentally tip because they just calculate it automatically.

Food was good. The ambience is inspired by a beach bar on the terrace. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

The salad was very good. The burgers we had weren't outstanding. We had to wait a long time and almost missed the film. The service is very friendly, but you can tell that all of the staff working there are untrained. And why are there no menus on the tables anymore? If only digitally, why can't I order myself via my cell phone?

Super cool for those affected by celiac disease! There are gluten-free buns for the burgers here! So if you want a decent burger again, you've come to the right place. Only the price is rather high, otherwise tip top!
