Very good place to drink a good coffee

The food is delicious. We had souvlaki (chicken and vegetarian), tzatziki and melitzanosalata. Their brownie is also amazing and the staff are very welcoming and warm. Only problem the last time I went there: the wait on site, almost 40 minutes... Otherwise I recommend, but perhaps plan to call to place your order to avoid waiting too long.

You will find good coffee from The good life company (even the decaf is good). On the other hand, the prices of the packages are excessive. 25chf for 250 grams while for this price you get a pack of 500g (for the same coffee) on the goodlife website. I am appalled by the margin taken by the Coffee Project.

Wonderful 5* experience! An hidden gem in Lausanne! This place offers a wide variety of coffees as well as milk alternatives and decaf options. You can also find some Greek specialities and delicious healthy snacks. I come for a cappuccino almost every Monday and I am usually served by Gaby, who in addition to being very friendly and smiling, knows the secret to making a cappuccino at the best temperature and texture (it is definitely not easy and this is not the case elsewhere). Thanks a lot!

Very nice and worth my long commute

We ordered coffee + matcha latte and we were delighted with what we got. Very flavorful and yummy! Highly recommended. Very kind, patient, and professional staff. They offer a variety of drink options and cakes. It is a cosy place but it is not too big. Reasonable prices for the high quality they offer. Overall, very recommended!

I loved this place. The people were very friendly and the favorite cafes are for a reason. We had the double cappuccino and the Greek coffee, I highly recommend them!

Had the privilege of trying "Greek" coffee for the first time in my life: amazingly strong and flavourful! Overall, The Coffee/Greek project is a cozy, small, and cute cafe. We are definitely planning to visit again, and this time try the main course: especially souvlaki, fresh pita, and Greek salad!

Hands down the best coffee in town, and I dare say one of the few souvlaki places outside Greece worth visiting.

I’m a hot black coffee drinker from LA and did a search for coffee when visiting Lausanne. I found this place and it was a highlight of my visit in Switzerland. The owner is very friendly and his products are superb. I bought 2 bags to bring home and I’m enjoying them each morning. Thank you!

I ordered a cold coffee of 5 franks. It had a tiny amount of coffee in it and a bunch of ice. That's just overpriced, even for swiss standards.

Wonderful coffe brewed with much ❤, the owner can and will explain you all the different styles, oh and he has fresh baked pastry 😍 ("pain aux resins" was so sooo good!) open 7/7. Would start my day there again!

It's totally worth the effort to find this place. Very good souvlaki, like nowhere outside Greece (with the possible exception of Australia). Excellent coffee. Nice ambience. Care and attention is put into the quality.

FINALLY a very good address for Greek takeaway meals in Lausanne!!!! The moussaka, the eggplant puree/salad, bean puree, the pork gyros, the N'tacos too.....everything is very good and in very good quantity, excellent value for money + taste. I am delighted to be able to eat Greek regularly while dreaming of my next trips to the Cyclades (which we missed so much during this very long year of Coronavirus!) their coffee is very good too! The people who served me are smiling, attentive and to top it all off, it's cheaper if you come and pick up your takeaway meal yourself. A favorite address🥰

I went there for Gyros which are quite tasty. Small downside all the same for the wait which is extremely long, and the two times I went there! More than 30 minutes the first time and 20 the second.

The coffee is good and we ate Greek cakes... So good. The service was ok.

They are definitely coffee enthusiasts and they know what they are talking about. They strive to make the best coffee according to their criteria which are definitely not mine. Too purist, too uncompromising, too much... Coffee may be more than just the best bean, there is the search for the subtlety of aromas, of acidity, and not, the 'caramelization' of the bean by the roasting does not sweeten the coffee.

Usually excellent coffee. Depends who’s working at the time you order the coffee though. I only drink espresso, so review is based on that. Went 5 times and got great espresso 3 times and ‘OK’ espresso twice. OK could have been great, but was let down, I suspect, by the grind being a bit off resulting in a sour espresso. Space and team were inviting, friendly and unpretentious.

Very disappointed with the coffee. Burnt taste. Not up to the standard of a place for lovers of coffee made with love. As noted in your answer, you have quality single origin coffees, but their preparation would be just as important. I had chosen a Hakuna Matata that I had already tasted and liked elsewhere. I don't know how you adjusted your dose, temperature, pressure etc... but the result was really not good.

If you like real Italian coffee, you should avoid the place. If you like specialties (too special for me), you can go there. I asked why he didn't make coffee with robusta (Italian style), I was told it was a concept. Which obviously means nothing, I grant you. I tried to insist on understanding this idea of ​​the concept of making coffee which was not going to be unanimously accepted....impossible to find out more, the seller went to the toilet. In short, if you like Italian coffee, the real one, the good one, like what we drink in Italy, cross the road and enter the small Neapolitan grocery store, you will be delighted for a coffee at 2.50 chf.

Disastrous experience, I wanted to buy ground coffee to discover them. Unpleasant behavior and mockery of the seller to his colleague in English (discretion assured in an international city like Lausanne). The coffee is ultimately okay but expensive, I will continue to go to Café du Brasil.

Great great food, and on top of that they have many options for vegans. Greek yogourt with nuts and honey was deliciouuuus. The coffee with almond/oat milk much better than in other "coffee" places where they only have soy. Seems like a coherent concept with a friendly owner.

We visited this very nice cafe on a day trip in Lausanne. The service was really good and fast. The coffee was very well prepared and the snacks are very tasty. We will definitely visit again and I do recommend you to get out of your way and try it.

I came here with a fellow coffee-loving friend of mine. The barista was genuinely passionate about making us our perfect cup. He asked different questions and also taught us some new things about coffee and how different roasts affect our bodies in different ways. An utterly pleasant experience.

By far some of the best coffee I ever get the chance to experience. (I tried the espresso from Guatemala and Nicaragua) Great selection of single origin coffee from various fermentation and cleaning processes. I highly recommend if you want to taste something different from the regular/plain coffee that you find in other coffee places.

Had a Brazilian espresso, which was fantastic! Taste, aroma and visual were all great. Single shot of espresso costs 2.50 francs, which isn't so bad for a place like this in Switzerland. Definitely recommend for a quick coffee on the go.
