Nice place! The ambience and location are great! Cool beer selection.

The bar impresses me with its many types of beer. The atmosphere is exactly how I imagine a bar to be. The service is prompt and always friendly.

Very unfriendly staff. After asking for a drink, you are arrogantly told that you should go to the other side of the Aare for such silly drinks. I find this disrespectful to the guests and the other bars in Solothurn. I can advise everyone against this bar. Update: Bar disappointed not open in Old Year's week totally disappointing, we'll be back.

Very nice bar located on the side of the Aaere River. Many alternatives of beer on tap. Nice view of the city and the mountains. Also, the people at the bar are very nice. Definitely recommend. Come on a full stomach though, not many alternatives for food.

The alcohol-free huo is mediocre for 12.-- Staff only serve straight from the corner, rather inflexible.

By far the most beautiful bar in all of Solothurn; the location right on the Aare is wonderful, the staff is great and the drinks are world class! You immediately feel comfortable from the first second. You always have a great and fun time with friends here!

I have visited the bar again for a long time (Fri evening, November 25th). Once again I noticed that not everyone is welcome in this bar. The bar also tries to be something better ("We don't have drinks like that. For that you can go to the other side of the Aare"). Said and done. In short: Not recommended.

Friendly staff. Good ambience. Large selection of different types of beer and drinks. Definitely a great place to spend a cozy evening.

It's a shame that a minus point is not possible. We ordered drinks, once with and once without alcohol. When the drinks were brought, we specifically asked which one was non-alcoholic. This was confused by the service and we were offered that we should exchange the drinks - regardless of Covid - a no-go, the regulations apparently do not allow this to be made up for our own mistake. The fact that we had the opportunity to get the money back was the least we could do. The behavior is very consumer-unfriendly, we received a sorry from the service, but nothing of the sort from the bar manager Patrizia, which I find extremely disappointing. The mistake was made by the service and we just wanted our drinks. The service asked us to pay an additional 8.- for the error in order to get the 5cl of alcohol refilled, which had already been paid for. Experiencing the bar manager Patrizia's intolerance and persistence without remorse was very shocking and at the same time disappointing and cheeky. No more docking!

Great location. But then great stops. Everything is a bit loveless and impersonal. The frosty temperatures inside do not create a comfortable climate

Super unfriendly, way too expensive... 4 shots with more sugar than alcohol cost us 48.-. It just looks nice but has nothing to offer...if you just want to spend way too much money, otherwise NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!

We were only there for a short time, but a successful project. Great interior design, comfortable to linger or have a quick drink. The staff is nice and friendly. The prices are like everywhere else. Everything fine. When we are in Solothurn again. We'll definitely come by again.

Cool bar. Very nice and located directly on the banks of the Aare and in the middle of the old town or suburb. Good drinks, nice staff and a very stylish interior. The only thing I think is that the prices are a bit too high.

In the Solothurn suburb, which is much cooler than Solothurn, is the Docks. Just after the bridge. Coolly furnished in industrial style. Young and old meet there. Good for meeting someone or celebrating with friends. When the weather is nice you can sit directly on the Aare. Chic without snobs. Always great service. Rather expensive at the moment.

Amazing place, very good liquors and beers. Was impressed by the inner decor, between rough metal and wood combinations giving it an industrial vibe and the chic of a refined, cosy lounge bar, which makes it a very cool place to hang out with friends (not more than three, heheh) for a few drinks. Date-suitable as well. I recommend the G&V and of course the both cool and friendly staff. In the summer, the big plus is the extreme proximity to the Aar, making it a perfect resting place when swimming down the aar for a well deserved pint, feet in the water for optimum cool off. Heavy plus. Would. Definitely. Recommend.

This is a great cozy bar with a good atmosphere and great drinks! They also have nice bar snacks if you're hungry. You also can't beat the location.

If you are looking for a real cocktail bar with a wide range of excellent drinks (try the Gin!), superb beer, friendly staff and nicely located right next to the Aare, the DOCK is definetly THE place to be.

Original bar with a friendly atmosphere directly on the Aare. You download the drinks menu onto your phone and go to the counter to order. The beers are cold and sinful and the accompanying drinks are beautifully decorated. It's definitely not the last time I've been here.

Actually a cool bar, but suddenly we were told that we had to leave the table in 30 minutes because it was reserved, even though there was nothing written about a reservation. The waitress (2 employees) became rude when confronted and simply ignored us. Afterwards they simply put a reservation sign on our table without saying anything.

Very unfriendly, when making a reservation you are suddenly asked to leave your table. A confrontation is only cheekily downplayed.

A cool bar right on the water. In the evening the bar was very busy, but we still had space. The staff was generally friendly and the drinks/beers were good. You had to register at the entrance, which didn't bother you. However, it would still be intelligent if a good solution was sought for the pen with which one registers. Because if every guest touches the same pen, then this isn't exactly ideal. But that's just a tip. ;) PS as an addendum: The thing about the disinfectant is of course a valid point. I guess I didn't see that.

Beautiful place to stay. We were a little limited in time and would have liked to have tried the entire cocktail menu. :-) We'll definitely come back in spring/summer to toast on the terrace.

December 19th I woke up in the hospital and was arrested. The police said they picked me up in front of the Dock bar, supposedly with a bar stool in my hand. What happened? Is there anyone who saw the confrontation between me and the cops?
