I ordered cordon bleu with salad. When it was served I asked for ketchup for the cordon bleu. This was brought to me in a small 30 ml bowl and an additional 2.- was charged. The Cordon Bleu was really good. However, the coleslaw with carrots was inedible. The sauce had no flavor, you could really smell the cheap oil and it was simply inedible. When it was cleared away again and the service asked about the food, I told him that unfortunately the salad was inedible, which he himself saw from the full bowl. He said he would pass this on to the kitchen. Unfortunately no, I'm sorry or can I offer you a coffee or waive the 2.00 for the ketchup... A pity...

One thing or another could be repaired... I like to come here on a Sunday afternoon to enjoy the terrace. Friendly staff. I haven't eaten much here yet, so my stars don't matter.

I only know the place in the evening. Then it is dirty and smells of musty wood and beer. Often overcrowded with people. Smoking takes place in a separate place, but it spreads throughout the entire restaurant/bar. There are also often arguments and fights here, sometimes with very bloody outcomes. Somehow the place attracts the ruckus and the people to it.

Enjoy your meal. You can always just walk by.

Food was ok. Your own touch was missing. Spare ribs were super tender, but unfortunately they didn't taste like anything. Fries are crispy, but otherwise no taste. The staff was also ok. Ambience: everything old; run down and not maintained. A pity

Great ambience, top service. But unfortunately the food was below average. Especially at these prices, the meat on the hot stone has to be top-notch and the bouillon in the tartar hat has to be delicately seasoned. We wanted to eat something special for our birthday today and so we chose Pirates. But unfortunately for us, the cooking here wasn't made with love. We were very disappointed.

Great and peaceful atmosphere. We had lots of fun. Average age was around early twenties. But we still felt comfortable.

Food ok but nothing special, but very expensive. We took the leftovers home with us. They packed me a green fly :( it stayed on my food in the fridge for almost a day

We ate at Pirates today, service and ambience were good. The food leaves a lot to be desired. Starters ok, although you can't go wrong with nachos. Spare ribs inedible, over half were returned and there wasn't even an apology. Too bad it's expensive and bad.

Only had an iced tea, this was served with ice and a lemon wedge. Price ok too.

The service is so bad. Staff is not friendly and very rude. I will never go again. The food is too salty and all fried stuff. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I read that someone wrote 2 months ago that the drinks were mixed too strongly, the answer was that people should be considerate... I was there recently and the drinks are still made too strong, so that you don't like drinking it at all can enjoy, I think that's a shame. Otherwise cool club. Then the website says that it's open until 4 a.m., but at 3:30 the music is turned off and people are thrown out... I understand if the staff wants to finish work at 4 a.m., but then that's wrong if the opening time for guests is until 4 a.m. and that Music ends 30 minutes beforehand. Then change the time on the website to 3.30 so the guests won't be crazy either. Still, the staff is quick! I was guaranteed to have fun! LG

We paid 98.- chf for 2 Cesar salads and 2 children's menus with drinks. That's way too expensive and my panache was lukewarm.

Very great restaurant with a large parking lot and lots of space. I was there for the Camaro & Corvette meeting. It's great that something like this is organized. There weren't that many cars, but we had enough space to sit. The service was friendly and often came by to ask if everything was OK. The food came quickly and was very tasty. I'd love to come back again, maybe for a party in the evening, there are always great parties!

Absolutely cool biker meeting place for those who want to become one or simply want to experience this atmosphere.

There's a good party going on there that night. I've been visiting Pirates regularly for a few months and it's kind of addictive. Could perhaps be due to the damn fair mixtures. Looking forward to next time :-)

We went to Pirates last weekend to celebrate a birthday. It was a really great evening. The bar staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and good. At midnight the birthday child was even congratulated by the DJ, who was really great. The only thing that bothered me was that it was completely overcrowded and at some point the smokers also smoked in the non-smoking area. Stopping at a certain level would be much more pleasant for everyone. Otherwise a very successful evening.

Very nice atmosphere. I could hardly get enough of it. The service was very friendly and attentive. You can go to the outside bar, which looks like a pirate ship from the outside, or you can stay in the very spacious interior. We had a little something to eat. It was very delicious. Update 02/24/23 we were there again. I had a small portion of wedges, I don't want to know what the big one is and chili cheese nuggets. They were very tasty. I had 3 different non-alcoholic cocktails. Two of them were too sweet for me. But that is a matter of taste. The Café Gourmand with a scoop of ice cream was a great ending. The mango sorbet was very tasty.

You have to pay a hefty amount for the meat platter. The meat is good but not good enough to justify the price. The location and the service were very good. There was enough parking space that evening. The atmosphere and furnishings were appropriate and comfortable.

We were in the non-smoking area. The food was very good and the service was funny and friendly. What bothered me was the room spray that was sprayed. I didn't understand why. When I got home, my clothes and hair smelled of cigarette smoke. Now it is clear to me why the room spray was used. Please ventilate better and use room spray.

Wonderful, authentic restaurant in the wonderful Zurich Oberland! It's best to call in advance to make a reservation. Service is great, food was delicious (except the baked Herdöpfel with sour cream was a little bland and overpriced). The beer selection is a bit poor (but there is Erdinger! 💪🏻). We also have cool menus for children. See you again soon - maybe at the 90s party! 🍻

Toilets were really really disgusting, dingy and dirty! Hopefully I didn't catch anything! It smells like urine everywhere. Hopefully it doesn't look the same in the kitchen. Drinks are mixed too strongly. Not even an alcoholic can handle that anymore! At least the staff is polite and accommodating. Even if they don't believe in clean toilets after reporting it.

We had our company christmas party here. We had fingerfood presented on some kind of wooden plate. IT was difficult to see what you where eating. The hygiene was terrible. The ambience of the place is very good. I would go again but not for the food but for drinks and atmosphere.

Very nice and cozy location, as a pirate you immediately feel at home. The food is delicious and varied. Everyone should find something suitable 😉 The staff is friendly and hardworking. I can say recommended. Music lovers also get their money's worth, with very different live band events taking place throughout the year.

Cool themed location....very friendly service...unfortunately the food was rather mediocre...and high priced....and the placement of our birthday party (13 people) was very, very bad, right in the middle of a boys' party of 35 loudly shouting boys Guys...everyone who wanted to go to the toilet...always had to squeeze past someone at our table...we could only talk outside...it was a shame...that we couldn't find a nicer place for them There was a unique birthday party...now you don't have any fond memories of that evening...

Super well served XXL board, super cool themed atmosphere. The service, however, was one of the worst I've ever had in Switzerland.

Yesterday I was at the 90s party at Pirates and everything was just right! The neon decorations on the ceiling and walls were perfectly staged. Glow sticks were also provided free of charge. The sound provided authentic 90s nostalgia and the nice audience created a perfect vibe :-) As an additional highlight, there was a small trance floor for dancing. It's really rare to see such a well-organized event in Switzerland and I'm hoping for a repeat of the party soon.

Hammer good. Great staff! A slightly different experience to the usual restaurants. Portions Powerful. You get something for your money there. Reserved for 2 people. Then four more were added. Cool location... great '90 party. What bothered me were the many broken pieces of glass on the floor in front of the dance stage. Had various splinters in the sole. The smell of smoke also bothered me. You're only allowed to smoke in the winter garden, but it's everywhere... the toilet isn't clean.

The portions were too small for the hefty prices

Club sandwich was very tasty but Stake for my mother came cold, when I asked the staff warmed it up again but it still wasn't really warm. The stake was like chewing gum in the mouth. It's a shame that you can't prepare such a stake properly.

On the phone I was rudely told that I was calling at the wrong time and that she would call me the next day. Since that didn't happen, I called several times, no one picked up, no one called back. Dear people, it is better to go to a restaurant that values ​​all guests equally, the Pirates apparently has enough money and guests. I won't set foot there in the future!

Good but little food, friendly service

A location for everyone from young to old. The music varies from old to the most modern songs. There is no waiting time at the bar and the drinks are served very generously. There is a lot of space, as well as a smoking section. You can also enjoy the music in the fresh air or fill your stomach with a delicious burger. All the staff, whether at the Tekke or the security staff, are very friendly and always in a good mood. A place that you like to visit again and again with many planned events and occasionally live music.

Spare ribs nice and tender, club sandwich ok. Ceaser salad was nothing special... Quality could be even higher for this price, sauces apparently homemade but I've never had such an inedible sour cream in my life.
