There is also a table in the snack bar for “spontaneous” guests. So don't think anything bad about eating inside instead of take-away. The fork and knife that were brought still had small bits of leftover food on them, which means they probably can't be put in the dishwasher. The Butter Chicken was a regular curry and the chicken was tough. So the opposite of what this dish usually offers. It was definitely not butter chicken, which I usually eat regularly, but the rice was buttery. Had to pay full amount even though you couldn't eat it. Definitely never again.

Food was super tasty, freshly prepared. Great price-performance ratio. Authentic and very friendly!

I was there at the beginning of January and ordered the “Jaffna red curry” dish to take away. When I wanted to pay, the seller said 15 CHF to me with a smile. I pointed out to him that the board said 14 CHF. He told me the prices have increased this year. I then told him that you should write it that way. He laughed it off and said the price tags wouldn't come until next week. I then took it for 15 CHF. The food tasted okay. The preparation time was quick. I recently walked past this snack bar again and the advertised prices haven't changed yet. As a customer I feel deceived and not taken seriously and therefore unfortunately this was my first and last visit here.

I am writing this review now after 3 years and I will never forget the chai taste.. Kind gentleman.

The food was served carelessly. Unprofessional and the taste was bland at first and the aftertaste was reminiscent of rice and contents that had been stale and reheated for hours. Personally, I will never eat there again.

Large portions for a very fair price. The offer isn't the largest, but I always find what I'm looking for ;) (If you don't eat meat, the menu might be a bit monotonous. But still very tasty!) The food is always freshly made, is well seasoned and can be picked up on time. Very friendly and warm staff. Highly recommended!

Vegetarian Nasi Goreng was very tasty and prepared quickly. Big portion. Friendly service, gladly again.

The Tikki Masala was not prepared as ordered and when I complained immediately after 2 minutes, they said that it would be re-prepared within 10 minutes. What can I say...it was dark and everything was locked when I came back. Never again!!!

We ordered two lassis to take away and were told to wait outside the restaurant. After about 15 minutes, an employee asked me to pick up the lassis. In the restaurant I was approached by the chef (?) who said he didn't have time for that kind of thing and that I should finally pay and take my things with me. I was surprised and pointed out to him that he had sent me outside and that I had only just been called. He told me in an extremely unfriendly manner that I shouldn't say anything and just pay. I confronted him about his unfriendly behavior, which he clearly didn't care about. When I opened the bag to eat the lassi, I discovered that it had not been filled into take-away containers intended for this purpose, but into used plastic Cola bottles from which the label had been torn off. From a hygienic point of view, something like this shouldn't happen. The lassi itself wasn't a lassi, but a mixture of mango, water and spices. Anyone who treats their customers like this doesn't deserve them.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! DO NOT EAT HERE PLEASE!!!! The worst restaurant ever!!!! Very unhygienic, raw food, awful food. Rude and unfriendly staff (owner) . Overpricing for tourist. Very very slow service.

Worst experience ever had.. The cook , the owner is very rude. He insulted our friend saying that all filipino people are eating dogs 🐕 as we complained that cabbage in our mango lassi. He doesnt know how to handle customers politely. He didnt apologise instead he insulated our friend.

Worst experience. It took us more than 1.5h to serve the food after we placed the order. Even the food (roti) we had was raw in the middle. Chef(may be also the owner) of the restuarant insult our friend once she complained about some vegetable debris found on her Mango lassi. I’ll not recommend this place to anybody

Worst experience ever. He served the worst food possible. He served a lassi with cabbage in it. But without apologizing for the mistake he did, he insulted my friend. The attitude of the owner is so bad. This place cannot be recommended at all.!!!!

Food was not good. 1. Roti was half cooked. 2. The Chicken in the Biryani was burnt 3. Tea was hopeless The veg Nasi Goreng was okay.

- Ordered 3 spring rolls, one received with the wrong filling. - Sausage cheese salad, without cheese. - Naan bread cardboard similar and consistency of omelet. - Delivery received late. - Exceptional currywurst with sweet and sour curry sauce. - Rice was good. Overall, we would have managed that with 3 per mille 🤭

+ very friendly staff + large portions + fair prices - For take-away food, everything is wrapped twice or triple in plastic (plastic bag included). There is no ecological packaging, you have to bring your own Tupperware. - the range of vegetarian and vegan dishes is very small, meat is simply left out everywhere (only vegetables remain). People didn't understand that. I then made vegan meat skewers myself at home. :-) - There is no information about how spicy each dish is. Unfortunately I had to experience this myself... :-o But they're really trying hard there, I hope they accept the criticism. Therefore 4 stars.

Had a very tasty Kottu Roti with lamb, a dish that comes from Sri Lanka, just like the nice owner. There was also a hot tea with ginger to warm up - a small gift. The ambience is simple and rustic, but on a summer afternoon in winter you don't have much choice in the old town, but the food is even tastier. According to the notice, the meat comes from Switzerland, except for the New Zealand lamb. Price-performance is top.

Friendly staff, but the food was not that good. We were there on a Friday night and got a sweet and sour and a noodle dish with beef. The sweet and sour looked more like a soup and didn't have the usual taste. The shrimp didn't feel well cooked either. However, the beef dish was delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming!

The owner is nice and very friendly, we ate two excellent currywursts with chips at a really affordable cost if you want to have a snack without too much effort. The appearance of the place at first glance may not be entirely satisfactory but we had a good time!

It's not the most swanky of places but the curries are tasty and authentic. The price point is spot on. We have been back several times and have ordered different dishes, all were delicious. Service is very good, nice staff.

Ordered Biriyani and had two spoons, which was enough to decide if I liked it or not. It didn't look nor taste like Biriyani at all but more like fried rice overloaded with spices (too spicy for someone that is used to spice) which was totally unnecessarly. It was pity for the food I had to throw away otherwise I'd have diggestion problems. Wouldn't try it again.

Taste Ok, but just ordinary curry. But there is a piece of glass, inside the rice or curry. I got my gum injured when eating it. I hope it will not give infection. It is better to improve hygenic and cleanliness. Sorry, normally I dont give bad feedback, since it is very dangerous for people swallow the glass piece, it may stuck on throat or stomach. My gum was bleeding also.

Fried rice is served as biryani. We ordered vegi biryani and shrimp biryani. Vegi biryani was cold. Spring rolls and mango lassi were good.

I often have half an hour without being punctual. Waited, it says Saturday 11:00 a.m. but arrives at 11:30 a.m. and that's annoying when you're hungry and waiting in the cold even though it's supposed to be open. But the food is very good and I can recommend it to everyone!! But everyone doesn't go until Saturday at 11.30 otherwise you'll wait. Ps. Watch your change!

Good food, spicy, good value for money

Very tasty and freshly prepared food. The owner is extremely friendly and strives for customer satisfaction. He addressed all of our requests during our on-site visit. The prices are really okay for this quality. And since it's actually a takeaway with a delivery service, you shouldn't expect upscale furnishings in the small restaurant itself - it looks rather spartan. But Toni definitely put this into perspective with his commitment.

We placed an order online on March 16, 2019 at 6:15 p.m. with a desired delivery time of 7:30 p.m. At 7:50 p.m. I called to inquire about the status of my order. I was assured that the food was already on the way and it would only take 20 minutes. However, they assured me of this without asking for the name or delivery address. When I called again at 8:30 p.m. after an hour's delay, I was given the weak excuse that the website was partly crazy. The order was canceled by me over the phone and I was very disappointed. It's actually a shame because I really like Toni's food.
