Ton's Asian Soulfood in Stansstad

Definitely my worst hospitality experience. I met him 3 times so as not to cause any stress. Reserved personally on site at 5 p.m. 8 p.m., table not yet available. Go to a bar next door for an aperitif for 15 minutes. When we returned he had given our table to a couple who hadn't reserved. When asked about it, not a single apology. Running away. We lost face, so to speak, in front of all the guests. In some Asian cultures, losing face is one of the worst things. Lost in the cold for over an hour and he doesn't care in the slightest. Luckily we had a very nice evening in a traditional restaurant next door with very attentive staff and good conversations with the kitchen staff. It is too obvious that human and professional incompetence as well as greed for money are the dominant forces here. The food is probably good, unfortunately I couldn't test it. Conclusion: Why wander into the distance when the good things are next door? Never again.... As written in the introduction, everyone has a bad day, but here many boundaries were unrestrainedly crossed. Hence this deserved negative criticism. Luckily, I'm a well-positioned person and I always find restaurants that include their guests.

There were four of us, the food was great and so was the service. I had the duck and got to try the Szechuan beef, both great. The dim sum starter was also very good. The restaurant is rather small, but all in all highly recommended.

Thai cuisine is very good, partly interpreted in a European way. E.g. Red curry with entrecote. Sharpness as desired, they hit it well. Individual Chinese dishes such as beef Sezchuan (very good). Absolutely recommended restaurant. Price is on the higher end, but it's worth it. The place is cozy and the decor is fortunately free of Thai kitsch.

Enjoy your meal. Good staff. Everything is just perfect.

The food tastes fantastic and is beautifully presented! The ambience is also very appealing. The prices are more in the upper segment. Unfortunately the service is not very motivated. At 10 p.m. she brought us the bill saying that she wanted to call it a day.....not very professional

I ate here twice. First of all: I can CULINARY RECOMMEND the restaurant. Why only 3 stars? When you eat at a higher priced restaurant like this, you expect good service. However, the waitress should reconsider her calling. On both visits she didn't leave a good impression...sometimes unfriendly and unprofessional, didn't know her own menus or couldn't explain them to us and "on top": I was brought the wrong food!! So I could watch how my companions ate and when my food came, they were already finished. Rather unpleasant. However, the food justifies the price, at least for the duck I ordered. I will gladly come again.

Thai food in this ambience conjures up a holiday atmosphere in everyday life! Wonderfully tasty soul food that completely convinced us to come back! Tom Kha coconut milk soup is addictive! There is also a fantastic selection for business lunch. I look forward to the next visit.
