Climbmania competition, too many people, even though we're talking about safety rules...zero respect in the end. My daughter's accident, no Samaritan, we are advised to return to Neuchâtel, easier. For ice cream, we have bags, but we keep them in the room, but go to McDonald's instead, they will make you a bag. 11 hours of consultations...8 weeks of downtime.

The atmosphere and staff are great in this room. The routes are varied, well maintained and change often. The room itself deserves a refresh, and better dust management, the ventilation is not great and the magnesia (except liquid) flies everywhere...

Very nice place... Especially for children on Sundays with bad weather. Very pleasant team.

Pretty nice room, not very big but there's plenty to do. I find the little children's corner very cool. The free parking next door is very nice! On the other hand... In terms of cleanliness, a lot of effort needs to be made... Everything is covered in magnesia and I would like to believe that it is not easy to clean but the other rooms are getting there... A good splash of fresh water won't wouldn't do any harm to the sanitary facilities (locker room and toilets) and looking closer, everything is a little altered... The tap is broken in the women's toilets.. 🤔 And everything is a little poorly maintained and creaking (we can see the cleaning marks on the stairs, it seems that only the middle is washed, the same on the edges, under the sofas, in the cloakroom, on the tables,... Too bad! I hope to see a positive evolution and I I would be happy to modify my comment. 😉

Very good average climbing room good reception there are changing rooms and showers and toilets plus something to buy food or drink and rent shoes

Friendly team, very good room to develop

Small, nice bouldering room to come and try once if you visit Switzerland like me. 12CH between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. not too expensive for us poor French people.

Super friendly team, good atmosphere, exterior walls as soon as the nice weather arrives and interior walls with a cave and a training space above. I recommend !

This gym is ok. There are a lot of dynos, which is fun, but I think the route setting at the intermediate level is a little bland.

The bouldering wall is small and cozy. Perfect place for me to go climb nearby from Nyon.

We had booked a private initiation (4 days in advance) which had been confirmed. Once we arrived there, no one knew what our reservation was. It was while checking our emails (in order to show the reservation confirmation) that we saw an email sent 2 hours before the reservation time to tell us that the instructor was ultimately not available. The least you could do would be to call to warn, especially when you see that the person does not respond by email. On site, no one really came forward to offer us an alternative solution and it didn't seem to be a problem that potential future customers had come for nothing. No proposal for another date, no alternative solution (apart from climbing alone, for people who have never climbed…) In short, we will go for a private initiation elsewhere.

Paying full price for entry when the room was not fully available due to classes for children is truly unacceptable. Doing a lesson with 40 children during opening hours in such a small climbing gym is just unbearable. In addition to running everywhere and shouting, it is up to the climbers to be careful not to fall on children. Teacher supervision needs to be seriously reviewed.

The room is still old and dirty. The locker rooms and the bodybuilding warm-up section are borderline unsanitary. The tracks are good but the holds very dirty and smooth. A renovation would not be a luxury. Better to go to totem Versoix or Ecublens.

I find it ridiculous that today I was not allowed into the climbing gym because my COVID certificate + my credit card in my name + my Swiss pass with my name and my date of birth (which corresponds to my covid certificate) were not sufficient proof of my identity, not to mention that I am a regular customer. I find the rigidity of the person who waited for me ridiculous. These kinds of situations only make human relationships worse. This is not how you are going to avoid people showing you fake certificates.

Discrimination against people without a health pass, bad publicity will emanate for this bad choice!! sadness and disappointment for the children concerned!!

Good climbing gym, the wall rating is different than the other gyms I visited. The color of the sockets does not represent the color of the level, strange at first sight but we adapt quite easily. Room not too big, not too small. We do the tour in a few hours.

I love this place for climbing I recommend I have known the room since its beginnings and since then they have other rooms, climbs on boulders only

Compared to other rooms the levels are not different enough whether easy or difficult, the walls do not change regularly and depending on the time this blocking room becomes a daycare. Damage

Superb place to go climbing (you can rent shoes, there is a small bar and the bouldering has holds for everyone). Friendly people who listen if necessary. I highly recommend !!

Relaxed and fun place to spend a rainy day

Super nice to come and train, there is something for all levels. There is a bar available with regional beers. We can rent climbing shoes. Great atmosphere, I recommend!

For me it was like a discovery of the block (the third time in fact). And I found the room very nice, the courses varied, for all levels. I loved the musical atmosphere, 90's rap style. Free parking in front of the room. Minimalist but clean changing rooms.

Nice place but disappointing openings. The routes are almost all in the "nagging of the arms" style. It lacks fine pathways, balance or grip.

Easy to find room with ample parking. Walls of all levels. Different courses and several formulas adapted according to levels. Small, friendly bar with a courteous welcome. We would like a quiet place without "magnesia" to wait for our children. The rest is very good.

I loved climbing in this gym for 2 years I stopped but I miss it I'm going to take classes again I love this gym so much everything is great we have lots of possibilities I love it

The openings are good. The room is not very large but pleasant in part. Magnesia offered. On the other hand, the welcome made me want to leave from the first exchange! I was really hesitant to spend a session there.

I hope this feedback improves things! The good: The wall is a decent size. The facilities are clean. They serve great coffee and the staff are really friendly. The bad: The route setting was really terrible. Totem in Versoix I think is excellent. Totem in Gland was very different. I think you should take the route setters from Versoix and ask them what they think of the setting at Gland. To start, the problems are reachy. Not a problem for me as I'm tall enough, but I was glad I am. The routes are not safe. They go quite high, which I have a good head for, but the moves are droppable at the top. One (purple holds graded orange) problem (very reachy, again) on the slab near the stairs had a spooky crux at the top, with a poor foothold which was slippy and a volume ready to break your ankle underneath! I found all the slopers greasy and most of the holds on harder routes were greasy slopers! The easy routes were like ladders. They lacked creativity. The hard routes were smaller holds and bigger (reachy) moves, or just downright weird, rather than interesting and thought provoking. There were 3 problems I liked in the whole wall, 2 of which were spoiled by having the final move being a hard-to-match sloper. Hard match top moves are fun if the balance is all in the feet and body position, not when it depends on how much you brushed the hold and chalked up! I think part of this problem could be that the wall doesn't have much variety in surfaces or shapes. Compare this to the Totem Versoix or Pan Structure and you can see the difference in route setting. I am from Sheffield and climb at The Climbing Works, which has the best route setting in the world, so I am spoiled, but I believe that route setting is the most important part of a wall. I hope that Totem Gland will take steps to fix this issue and I can give them 5 stars next time I visit.

Really at the top, every week a new route, friendly welcome and excellent craft beer on tap.

Nice place, only bouldering (no routes) there is a small area for training, stretching and others, and a Güllich pan. No need to bring your pof, there are some on site. The bar is basic but good, there are a few craft beers. To eat, just a few snacks. A little hot snack is missing.

Good climbing gym accessible to all and in a good spirit and good atmosphere.

too expensive for a very small block room, the socket too roomy and greasy, there are only two broce for the whole room. Too much for a small tan block room, the presas are too much and greasy to cause it to fail to be renovated. Only put the brushes on to clean the stairs available to the climbers.

Pleasant space, the blocks are renewed regularly.

Great place! We had a great afternoon with my friends climbing. It's really nice to be able to climb without a harness etc and to have the mats all over the ground, it makes it much more open to beginners

Great bouldering gym all around for beginners and professionals. I came from the U.S and found it very affordable compared to other gyms. Great ambiance, the climbers that come here are super friendly, the workers are amazing, they help Beta a few of the more complicated routes. The gym is clean and they are always putting up new routes. Glad I found Totem Escalade so close to home, can't wait to see it after it reopens!

Perfect for winter and when it rains in summer. Yours are often changed which makes everything very interesting. Prices are slightly below other similar places. This is a boon for residents of La Côte who want to train close to home.

During the cooler months having a local bouldering gym is good to practice moves and keep in good physical condition. This climbing gym offers people the opportunity to climb at an affordable price. Bouldering lessons are provided for various age groups, including children.
