We had an aperitif twice but we didn't eat. A simple restaurant with good prices.

The food here is very good, small menu, I recommend the Cordon Bleu with Pommes Frites

UPDATE: Came back after 4years still delicious and nice service glad to see things didnt change. 2019:First time in Switzerland, first restaurant we went to. It was amazing food, the risotto was delicious. My kids got cordon blú and it was amazing. My hubby got the lasagna he loved it too. We seat outside we could see the lake across the street. We were the only ones there until we finished eating. It wasn't cheap. This was by far the most expensive meal we had in Europe so far. But we loved every bite, definitely a treat place to go to. The woman working didnt speak English but Google translate was our friend. This is a family of four total with bottle drink lemonade and bottle water

Bissone hat eine eigene Autobahn-Ausfahrt und das Restaurant befindet sich keine 2 Minuten ab Ausfahrt direkt an der Hauptstrasse die entlang dem See führt. Die freundliche Bedienung durch Daniela und die sehr sorgfältig & frisch zubereiteten Pasta-& anderen Gerichte durch Ihren Ehemann lohnen den Besuch dieses einfach wirkenden Restaurants unter den Arkaden mit einem exzellenten Preis-/Leistungs-Verhältnis unter allen Umständen! Es gibt auch ein paar feine hausgemachte Desserts die im gläsernen Kühlschrank auf anspruchsvolle Schleckmäuler warten.

Ich liebe dieses familiengeführte Restaurant in Mendrisio. Die Dame, die es schafft eine sehr réserved Person, aber die Küche ist typisch von Tessin und sehr lecker.
